After couple days of what happened of spotting someone but not knowing who it was, I've been feeling uneasy since then as I kept sensing someone watching almost twenty-four hours each day but only whenever I'm alone, I thought it was just me paranoid only to find it to good to be true

As what happened yesterday to me and Koichi

We were out patrolling as per usual ever since I was caught up with his 'hero' work, it was better than doing nothing except waiting for things to blow over

As we scout around the area that seems pretty sketchy but it was all quiet that was when Koichi suggested getting some coffee from the vending which he went to grab some leaving me by myself only to feel a shiver of cold hit through me

I look behind me to see nothing but the empty streets with little light dimming the streets I felt my heart race out of fear when I thought it was over the smell of burning cigarettes, not normal ones instead it smell all too familiar

My hands sweating, my heart was racing, and the fear of being watched all over again till a phantom hand touch my back

" I'm always watching"

I jump in fear using my quirk to make a blade on my hand pointing to whatever touch me or for it to be no one in sight I breathe heavily, shaking frantically looking around to see anyone

" Are you alright?" I heard a voice, I see Koichi walking up to me with two cans in his hands with a concerned look

I sigh putting my shadow quirk away " Yeah I'm fine just... a bit paranoid lately" I said rubbing my neck in embarrassment, he pass me the can with a smile

" I guess it's been like that for a couple of days now?" He ask worry in his eyes, I lifted my head at him in surprise at what he said

" Your eye bags say it all," he said chuckling a bit while pointing a finger at his eye

I laughed too, feeling my cheeks heat up " Is it really that obvious?" I said rubbing underneath my eye feeling it was a bit sunken

" Are you sure you're alright Y/N?" He asks me again looking concerned for my well-being

" Don't worry I'm fine Koichi, let's just keep patrolling alright?" I told him, walking ahead of him then opening the can of coffee and taking a sip of it, hearing his footsteps as he walked up next to me

" Alright I won't pester you anymore but... just know I'm a door down if you wanna talk," he said glancing at me

A smile so bright it almost make me want to look away but I couldn't, I simply smiled back at him shaking my head

" I'll keep that in my mind Koichi," I said reassuring him as we continue our patrolling for the night

Present Now

After what happened last night, my head was thinking about Koichi's words, I sigh in irritation as I was cleaning around the apartment staring at the window balcony

" Maybe I should pay him a visit," I said to myself thinking about the possibility, till I was cut off by the loud thump in my room quickly turning my head to the source of the sound,I walk cautiously to my room opening it slowly when I looked around my room

In my sight was a white box on my bed with a black ribbon wrapped tightly around it, the sight of it made back shiver as I angrily threw it across the room and then stomped on it

I sigh in anger knowing fully well who left it

" Out of anyone I know, why did it have to be you?!" I yelled out in anger and continued to stomp on the box to let my frustration out before I could go any further, my phone rang in the living room so I left my room to pick it up

I grab my phone to see who it was being Koichi's name on my screen but I sigh before hanging up the call, I looked back at my room with an uneasy feeling so I left the house to get fresh air.

~~Time Skip~~

It was getting late but I could care less as I walked down the empty streets with a beer can in hand, I took a sip of it feeling the liquid go down my throat leaving a burning aftertaste

As I could feel my steps staggered a bit while walking, I heard distant sounds of fighting and screaming I wanted to shrug it off but I then heard a scream all too familiar being Koichi

I crushed the can in hand throwing it behind me as I quickly ran to the sound, upon reaching to him

I hid in the shadows as I watch Koichi down along with a citizen covered in spikes laying on top of him and he was bleeding from his leg as a figure dressed in some combat gear with a strange mask and hair in a ponytail gave me a weird vibe from him

"Don't get in my way Crawler, there is no value in saving that man only thing left for him is death alone in the darkness "

He said while holding a katana in hand

Meanwhile, Koichi chuckled before speaking " You may be right in some pretext or another " he said before sliding away from the guy, I decided to slide through the shadows to catch up with him

Only for Koichi to fall down not moving a muscle I froze in shock to see the man about to draw his blade at him, so I step out of the shadows standing in front of Koichi

" Don't you lay a hand on him!" I said
making shadow claws on my hands

"I see another sinner in my way of getting rid of you villains, but nothing to fear I'll take of it!" He said swinging down the blade on me

But I grab the blade stopping him from cutting us, I use my quirk to wrap him around in shadows causing him to try and slice me before I fling him across the ground as he stood back up

Holding his blade in hand with drops of blood on it, before I could land a hit on him all of sudden I felt my body collapse on the ground feeling my shut down as I was left defenseless only my eyes glancing back in forth as the men walk up to me

" You almost caught me there girlie but I was lucky enough to nick you once to get your blood," he said dragging the blade on my hand now
noticing a small cut on it

" There is no longer anyone to save you...care about you...worry about you, for you are sinners." He lifted the blade about to strike me

" That's where you're wrong!" A voice called out knocking the men outta the way and in front of me and Koichi

Knuckleduster was...

" Cuz, I'm here!"
