You and Nat are headed back to the entrance of the park to head home when you see the beam of light land about 600 Ft in front of you.

Nat looks at you. "This doesn't look good."

You stand frozen. " Is this really happening?" You say to Nat not sure if this is a vision. Is Thanos finally here? You haven't finished your training with Loki. Is your vision going to come true?

Nat turns and grabs you shoulders. She looks you in the eyes and sees your fear. " Lark, remember your training. Muscle memory, you can do this. We just need to hold on, I'm sure the team has seen this and are on their way." You don't say anything just stare blankly at Nat.

"Lark, look at me!" She yells at you while keeping an eye on the light and who is coming through it. "I believe in you. We can do this together."

You finally snap out of it. " Ok, you're right. I know Steve had to have seen this. He's on his way I know it."

You both quickly get into a ready stance waiting to see who the light is bringing. The light finally clears and its Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian just like your first vision.

Ebony Maw looks at Cull and motions towards both of you. "Bring them both. The master will find something to do with the red haired one."

"Shit, he's big" is all Nat says under her breath. " Let's show him what we've got."

You both run towards Cull. "Take the high road Lark, you pack a stronger punch."

You wink at her. "My pleasure." You jump in an arc and bring your fist down against his temple catching him off guard. He did not expect so much strength from someone so tiny.

Nat lowers herself and comes sliding in landing a foot on his knee. He buckles but doesn't go down. Cull tries to grab you but you are able to easily dodge his large fists with your speed. Cull manages to land a kick to Nat , tossing her back about 20 feet. You glance for just a second to see if Nat is Ok but it's enough to allow Cull to back hand you across chest. You are tossed close to Nat with the wind knocked out of you.

You look up to see a large raven land next to you, it quickly shifts back in to Loki. He kneels down to check on you.

"Love, are you Ok?" Worry etched across his face.

"Yeah, just got the wind knocked out of me." You notice Cull is coming up behind Loki. "Loki, look out!"

You realize you can feel your power building in your hands. You raise them and send a blast at Cull seconds before he goes to swing his hammer, knocking him back several feet. You and Nat are back up on your feet. Loki waves his hands and daggers appear in Nat's hands.

Loki gives Nat a grin. " I believe you know what to do with those?"

She twirls one in her hand. "Nice weight. I think I can work with these." You hear a rumble and turn to see Steve riding up on his Harley. He quickly lays the bike down and grabs his shield from his back.

He is quickly at your side. " Are you ok?"

You give him a half smile. "For now."

Cull has gotten back up is barreling toward you. You hear Ebony from behind him.

"You won't win, your friends can't protect you from the Master."

Loki sees Ebony and decides to distract him. He starts casting an illusion of himself surrounding Ebony. Cull is almost on top of you and Nat, you both start attacking. You are landing blows against his side and knees, Nat is cutting him every place she can, trying to hit tendons to weaken his stance. Cull kicks Nat back, she lands a little past Steve.

Cull upper cuts you with his hammer, tossing you over his shoulder. You land within a few feet of Ebony's feet. Your breath has been knocked out of you and it takes you a minute to regain your breathing

"Hey, can you give a girl another boost?" Nat says smiling at Steve.

"Anytime, you ready?" Steve says as he kneels down with his shield.

Nat runs towards Steve, jumping up onto his shield. He toss her up into the air and over towards Cull but Ebony Maw sees what she is attempting. He uses his magic to pull pieces of wrought iron from a near by fence and sends it hurling towards Nat.

They hit her it both shoulders, impaling her onto a near by car. Loki sees what has happened and runs to help Steve. Steve and Cull Obsidian are exchanging blows. Steve blocks the hammer with his shield, Steve throws the shield and Cull deflects it with his hammer. Cull jumps and brings his hammer down on Steve's shield with all his weight, pushing Steve closer to the ground.

Loki materializes a large hammer and hits Cull knocking him off of Steve. Both of them attack Cull simultaneously. Loki looks over at Nat seeing her impaled and unconscious.

"You need to get her out of here." Loki yells to Steve. Steve gives a hesitant look to Loki.

"Yes, I can handle this ignorant lump of clay." Says Loki as he continues to pummel Cull.

You look up as a shadow falls over you. It's Ebony Maw, you quickly throw your hands up throwing your power at him. He easily absorbs your power and throws it over your head.

"Hmm there is more than just the stones in you. So much more strength than we imagined. Thanos will be very interested with this new development."

"I'm not going with you, ever." You say to him through clenched teeth. You try building your power up more before he can notice, but he can sense the power coming off of you. Ebony pulls you up off the ground with his magic. You can't move your hands and it is getting hard to breath.

You try to push as much power to your hands, you try to reach inside and awaken Ms. Hyde but all you can do is let out a loud scream.

Steve stands in front of Nat and pulls the bars from her shoulders causing her to come to and scream out in pain. She slumps to the ground, as Steve bends to scoop her up in his arms he hears your scream.

Loki and Steve both look over and see you in Ebony's grasp. Loki's rage instantly rears its head as he takes one last swing that sends Cull knocked out to the ground.

Loki takes a few steps towards Steve. He hears you scream in pain again and turns to look at you frozen in Ebony's hold.

"Go!" Is all Loki hears. He turns to see Steve standing with Nat in his arms. " Go! She needs you. I'll get Nat to safety and come back."

Steve looks at Loki and knows he is your best shot and he will give his life if need be. As Loki turns back to face you and Ebony, a guttural growl escapes his throat and magic erupts from him. He projects multiple images of himself around you and Ebony causing him to move his attention from you. Loki takes that opportunity to close the gap between himself and Ebony.

He quickly reaches behind him and unsheathes his blades and swings full force at Ebony's side. Ebony feels a seating heat in his side, Loki's blade has left a large gash in his right flank. He lashes out in anger throwing you back against a near by tree. You slump to the ground dazed. Loki continues his assault pushing Ebony to call out a retreat to Cull, who is finally picking himself up from the ground.

Loki sees both creatures retreat in to the beam that brought them there. He quickly runs to your side and bends down next to you.

"Lark? Lark, can you hear me?" He says as he gently touches your face.

You are still somewhat dazed but look him in the eyes and shake your head. He carefully picks you up unsure of any injuries.

"Hold on my love. I will get you back to the tower and straight to Banner." He says trying to hide his growing fear from you. You pass out from the pain while Loki is watching the ship leave the atmosphere.

Tony lands at Loki's side and retracts his face plate. " What the hell happened?"

Loki can't take his eyes off of you, afraid to lose you. "It was the Black Order. Thanos sent them to retrieve Lark. She took some pretty hard hits, we need to get her back to the tower now."

"JARVIS scan Lark for injuries." Tony barks in to his helmet.

"Scan completed. She has sustained multiple injuries but non are life threatening. She needs medical attention quickly though." JARVIS relays.

"I can fly her back to the tower faster." He takes you from Loki's arms.

"I will be waiting." Loki shifts back in to the raven and flies toward the tower as Tony looks on. He quickly tightens his grip on you and takes off towards the tower alerting Bruce on the way.
