The next day you went down to your training room. You hadn't been down there since the day Steve found out about Loki. It felt strange almost foreign, like it was a lifetime ago. You sat down in the middle of the room and put yourself in the white room.

You stand and stare at the closed door. "It's time to make a choice." You say out loud.

The door opens and Hyde steps out. She slowly walks towards you, she stops a few feet away from you.

You look at her with a steady gaze. "You've had enough to time to think. What's your answer?"

She returns your gaze. "I though about it. If what you say is true then I....agree with you." Hyde practically chokes on her words. " As much as it makes me want to punch your righteous face, you're right, we would be stronger as one."

"Ok so what do we do?" You ask her.

" Just leave that part up to me."

"Ok but first you need to know the rules. One, there will be no hurting anyone other than Thanos and his army. Especially friends and family on this team. Two, we don't use our powers on innocent people."
Hyde interjects. " Well make up your mind it's either your little precious family here or innocents? Because we all know, no one in this building is innocent."

You raise your voice. " I mean it! No one unless it's Thanos. And three, we do not touch or have sex with anyone other than Steve."

Hyde sticks out her lips and pouts. " Not even the God! I thought he was a free pass with your bond and all? Now that is just cruel and unusual punishment."

You are starting to think this might be a bad idea but you know you don't have a choice either.
"No, not even Loki. No one but Steve."

She raises an eyebrow at you." Sure whatever you say. That's ok, we can still have enough fun right here in the white room anyways."

A mixture of shock and embarrassment flashes across your face.

"Yes, that's right I know all about your little playtime together in here. I saw everything from start to finish. By the way that was an amazing finish if you ask me." Hyde says pretending to fan herself.

" It was just a dream that doesn't leave here!" It never dawned on you that Hyde could be watching you and Loki.

"Sure Doc, you keep telling yourself that. Whatever helps you sleep at night. I didn't mind the show at all."

You've finally had enough of her mouth. " So what do we have to do now?"  You say wanting to get this over with.

She steps closer, standing only inches away. " Just so you know, this is going to hurt and I'm probably going to enjoy it." She says with a grin as she grabs the side of your head.

Hyde's eyes go from the burning blue to pure black. Her power starts to grow around her hands and extends to flow around your head. You scream as you feel the power course through your brain. Your eyes start to burn the same blue.

Steve enters the training room and sees you kneeling on the floor screaming. He goes to step towards you but you start to lift of the ground as you are engulfed in the power of the Mind Stone. Your body curls up in pain mid air. You let out a blood curdling animalistic scream as your body is flung wide open and a shockwave of power emanates from you. The shockwave pushes Steve back against the wall as it shakes the whole building.

"Lark!" Steve yells out as you slowly descend to the floor.

The team is spread out through the building but they all feel the structure shake.

" JARVIS, what the hell was that?" Tony says as he and Bruce look up at each other from across the lab table.

" It seems to have been a power surge of some sort that came from Dr. Stark, sir" JARVIS replies almost instantly.

The fear starts to spread across Tony's face. " Where is she JARVIS?"

" Dr Stark is in her training room sir."

Bruce looks at Tony as they both move for the lab doors and head for the training room.

Loki is with Thor on the balcony when he feels the building shudder. He instantly knows what it was, feeling the power of the Stone. He looks at Thor with wide eyes. " Lark!" He immediately heads for the training room as he suspects what has happened.

You body is standing motionless on the center of the room. Power flowing around you, your hair floating around you like water. Your eyes are closed and your face relaxed, it's as if you are sleeping.

Steve stands up and walks towards you. "Lark? Can you hear me?"

The closer he gets to you the hair on his arms starts to stand up. The air around you charged with energy. He reaches towards you touching your hand. Your eyes spring open, they are still your eyes but they now there is a ring of burning blue outlining your irises.

" Lark? Talk to me please. What happened?" His fingers tingling with electricity.

The air around you calms as you start to breath again. " Steve?"

" It's me sweetheart. What happened?" He is uncertain of who he is talking to.

Your voice lightly doubles. " We have merged, we are one now."  Steve lets go of your hands and takes a few steps back ready to deal with Hyde. You blink your eyes a few times and your voice returns to normal. "Sorry about that, we have a few things to work out still" you say a little annoyed at Hyde.

Steve just looks at you still unsure of what to say. As he is struggling with his words Loki busts through the doors. He immediately comes over to you and takes one hand in his and touches the side of your face with the other.

"Love, what have you done? Are you Ok?" Loki says as he searches your eyes.

You look up into his eyes. " I did it Loki. She agreed to merge. I have control now." You bring your hand up and the power swirls bright and strong around it.

"What were you thinking trying this on your own? I should have been here in case SHE tried to take control again." Loki chided you.

You reach up and touch his face gently. "It's ok, darling. She agreed to the merge, I trusted her. Besides it had to be between just the two of us. I'm sorry."

You don't notice Steve's face drop when you call Loki darling. He turns away from you so you don't see the hurt on his face. He looks up as Tony, Bruce and the rest of the team come through the doors.
"What the hell just happened?" Tony says walking straight up to you, pushing Loki aside.

"It's Ok, Hyde agreed to the merge. This is a good thing. I have full control of my powers now."
You close your eyes, the magic swirling around your hands, as you start to levitate off the ground.

Your feet come back down to the ground and you smile, looking at Tony. Tony takes a hand and pulls down on his mouth. "Well shit. I guess it's time we step up the training."
