The next day you finally decide it's time to pick back up training with Loki. You are waiting for Loki in your training room when you start to hear Her.

"Are you going to comply and let us out to play today?"  You hear in your head.

" I don't have much of a choice do I?" You say to yourself.

"No you don't. Perhaps we will play nice with the god today."

"Please, please I beg you try to behave." You plead out loud.

" Begging is below us, you are showing your weakness.

Loki has walked in during your conversation. "She's right, Pet. Begging makes you sound weak and you wouldn't want to upset Her now would you?"

" Can you please stay out of my head Loki? It's already too crowded as it is." You snap at him.

Loki flashes his usual devilish grin at you. " One, it's hard to ignore. It's so loud in my head and two where would the fun be in that?" He steps in front of you, only inches between you. "I am glad to see you are finally listening to me, love."

You take a few steps backwards to put more space between you and Loki. Even though it wasn't your side that slept with Loki, it was still your body and it was reacting to being this close to him. You felt the guilt rise up in your chest again.
"What are we doing Loki?" You ask sharply.

He looks down at you and tilts his head to the side. "Well I can tell your body has an idea, I wouldn't mind taking its suggestion."

Now you are getting angry " Damn it Loki! I told you that will never happen again not if I can control Her."

" As you've said before Pet. I just like to get a rise out of you." Loki says still looking at you.

" I would like to get a rise out of him again." She whispers in your head.

You take a deep breath, close your eyes and try to center yourself. " Can we please train today?"

" As you wish, love." He says as he nods his head a little.

You look at Loki and take a deep breath. " I need to know if I can trust you. If She starts to get out of control, will you help me reel her back in? I need you to drop all this other crap and help me. I have to be ready for Thanos. Can you do that for me?" You say with a seriousness in your voice.

Your tone makes Loki take pause before he speaks. " Yes Lark. I will help you control her and I will make you ready for Thanos. I won't let your vision come to fruition. I promise."

" Ok then, I'm ready. How do I voluntarily let her out? She has only ever forced her way out." You ask him. You were surprised how his toned changed when he promised you. You honestly believe him. You guess there is more to the God of Mischief than what you see.

"I want you to take a deep breath and close your eyes. Clear your mind and wait for me." He tells you.

" Wait for what?" You say as you close your eyes and try to calm your mind.

Loki continues to talk to you very calmly and soft. " Now don't panic Darling, I'm just going to hold your hand."

You feel him take your hand in his. You quickly remember how you were surprised by the softness of his hands. You take another breath to clear your thoughts again. You hear Loki's voice, it's very calm, almost hypnotic.

"Now love, I want you to picture yourself in a room with a door." His voice sounds different. It's like you can hear him standing in front of you holding your hand but you can also hear him in your head. You do as he says and picture a room with a closed door.

"Very good love." You realize there is a hand on your shoulder, you turn around to see Loki.

"What? Are you in my head? Loki, I thought I told you to stay out of my head?" You start to doubt what you are doing.

"Lark, I'm only here to help you. I promise, no games this time." He looks you in the eyes and you can feel he is telling the truth. You don't understand for all that he has done, how you can trust him so quickly again.

You touch his hand that is on your shoulder still. " All right. What now?"

"You know She is on the other side of that door, don't you?"

"Yes, I know. I'm nervous Loki."

Once again you feel him holding your hand. "I'm here I won't let her harm you. For me to help you though, you have to give me control. I need to have some control of your mind, but once I try both sides will try to resist. You must do your best to let me in."

" I don't understand. What are you going to do Loki?" Once again you feel that doubt creeping back up in to your stomach.

" To simplify it for you, I'm going to use my magic and basically put a type of psychic cuff on her. She will still have her powers but they will be temporarily dampened."

" Ok but how do I lock her back up?"

He hands you a little device. "When you feel like She is gaining strength or you've had enough, you simply envision this device and press the button. It will put a gag around her mouth to silence her. No matter where I'm at I will know and I will come back to this room and help you lock her back behind the door again."

"From anywhere? How can you do that? What if you don't get here fast enough and She gets loose?" You are rolling the device around in your hand out of nervousness.

" Yes pet, anywhere. Must I remind you, I am a GOD. Do you not trust me love?" There is a hint of disappointment in his voice.

You look him deep in the eyes. " Yes, I trust you Loki."

"Very well then Love. I need you to walk over and open the door. Only you can do it." He steps closer to the door and gestures to the handle.

You step closer and wrap your fingers around the handle. The door handle start to rattle from the other side.

" Yes, let me out. Turn the handle...release me." It whispers from the behind the door. You pull your hand back. Loki looks at you and nods his head, Yes, to you. You put your hand back on the door knob, but hesitate to turn it. Loki gently wraps his hand around yours and helps you turn the handle.

As soon as you turn it, the door flies open and She is standing before you. You had never thought about how she may look, you were shocked at the different appearance.  Her long dark hair is perfectly smooth and straight. Her burning blue eyes are a contrast to her pale skin and black lips. She is dressed in tight latex pants with a corset over a long latex top. It is topped with a long flowing coat and black boots.

You take a step back trying to put a little space between the two of you. She continues to step towards you closing the space again.

" Not the monster you were expecting? I am you, so why wouldn't we share the same face. I'm just the better reflection in the mirror." She snaps her teeth at you causing you to flinch. She was distracted enough that Loki has snuck up behind her and clasps the cuff on her wrist. She spins around and hisses at Loki.

" What is this? I thought you wanted to play?"

Loki can not take his eyes off of Her. He looks her up and down, thirsting for what he sees. She can see his craving.

" I can tell you like what you see."  She put her hand on his chest and walks around him, dragging her fingers across his body. Loki lets out a low hiss as she comes back around to face him. As she stops in front of him, she slowly runs her fingers down to the top of his waist band. She slowly traces circles around the button on his pants causing him to close his eyes and release a deep groan.

" Now that's the sound I like to hear from you."

Loki's eyes quickly snap open and  grabs her hand from his waist with a small twist.

"I made a promise, no games today. I'm here for Lark not you." Loki says as he looks over Her shoulder to you.

" Well there's always tomorrow? I will get another slice of you soon. Mark my word."

Loki walks back over to stand next to you. " I want you to open your eyes now. She will stay in this room you've created and you will be able to use her powers. Open your eyes Lark."

You do as Loki says, opening your eyes, you are back in the training room. Loki looks at your eyes, they are burning blue but a softer blue than usual. His plan worked, Ms Hyde is awake but so are you.

You finally speak." I can feel Her inside my head but it doesn't hurt this time."

"Oh I'm very much still here dear. I'll never leave."

" Lark can you feel your power? Can you try to use it." Loki asks you.

" Yes I can feel it. I can try." You bring your hands up in front of you and take a deep breath.  Your magic starts to roll around your hands, slowly building. You raise your hand and throw a blast of power across the room hitting the wall. It leaves a scorch mark the size of a softball.
" That's very good Love. We can work on building your strength as we go. Can you try opening the door over there?" He points to the door to the observation area.

You turn and face the door. You raise your hand, power still swirling around it. You twist your wrist while focusing on the door. The handle turns, you push your hand forward causing the door to fling open.

You look at Loki with glint of hope. " I can't believe this is working. For once I feel like maybe we have a chance against Thanos."

" It's only working because I'm letting it."

You continue to test small activities but even those have started to tire you. You put a hand on Loki's shoulder.
" I think I've had enough training for today. Can we continue more tomorrow?"

"Of course we can, darling. Do you want me to put her away?" He asks

" Oh, don't ruin the fun yet. We can play nice for just awhile longer." Something  doesn't feel right about her comment but you know you need to keep trying to control her.

"No, I will try a little longer with her out." You say to Loki. "Just please don't go far away in case I need you."

Your request brings a small smile to Loki's face. " I promise you Lark, I will come as soon as I hear your voice."

You squeeze his hand before you walk away. " Thank you Loki."
