Roaring Muscles! ...again.

Izuku wanted to head straight to Dagobah beach, but his mother (his mother!!) knocked on his door to get him up for school. Scrambling to get dressed, Izuku was once again wearing his lightly singed Aldera uniform and sprinting out of the front door, shouting a hurried goodbye to his mother.

Running through the streets Izuku silently lamented his unfit, weak body, rushing straight past Mt Lady's debut where she was already posing for the cameras.

He was going to be so late.

  One for all: 0.1 percent!

His pace increasing the slightest amount, Izuku barely made it into school on time, rushing through the congested hallways and making it to class just as the morning bell rang.

Huffing and puffing, Izuku sat in his seat. Even just 0.1 percent of One for All was enough to tire him out and make his nonexistent muscles ache.

It tired you out, but it was a good full body workout and didn't generate any lightning. It seems your body is able to contain 0.1 percent with no excess leaking out, hence, no lightning!

Izuku took a moment to breathe before activating One for All again.

Let's say you add 0.1 percent every 2 days, that's 1 percent every 3 weeks. That's roughly 14.5 percent by the time of the entrance exam in 10 months. Add on FaJin and Transmission, you could reasonably wield around 30 percent of Eighth's strength for the entrance exam.

  Pff, alright nerd.

  Shut up Daigoro!

Izuku ignored the squabbling vestiges, keeping his eyes locked on the teacher as he rambled on about career forms, resolutely keeping his gaze away from Katsuki.

  He might just start crying.

The papers were tossed into the air, and everyone began using their quirks, cheering in excitement.

Katsuki leapt onto his desk, letting a few explosions crackle.

"Hey teach! Don't lump me in with this bunch of losers..."

Izuku sighed. Oh right. Katsuki was a complete a-hole at the moment.

It was going to be a long day...

__________

Okay, seriously though. How the hell did that punk get into UA?

  Izuku just rolled his eyes.

"His quirk. You think UA does personality checks when there's Mineta in class?"

  ... Good point.

The greenette fished his notebook out of the koi pond, Shaking the water out of the clogged pages yet again with a heavy sigh.

"Time to go get attacked I guess."

  ...what?

  Izuku, what???

Kid, what are you talking about?

  Ninth!!

WE WEREN'T SENTIENT AT THIS POINT YET, WHAT'S GOING ON KID?!?

"You remember Kirishima talking about being inspired by a kid from a sludge villain incident? I was the kid."

So if we want Hard Man to consider UA...

"I have to let events play out exactly as they did. Well... Maybe not exactly."

Izuku walked past the manhole cover, mentally preparing himself to start drowning.

________

Izuku waited a few minutes after All Might left the rooftop to go after him, bouncing down the stairs and rushing out the door, heading towards the sludge Villain's rampage with 0.1 percent of One for All active.

Everything had happened the same way as in the original timeline so far, but Izuku wanted to change it up a little by discovering' his quirk ten months before the entrance exam instead of during.

Reaching the crowd, Izuku pushed through the throngs of bystanders, scowling briefly in the heroes' direction before turning his attention to Katsuki, struggling amongst the sludge.

The moment they made eye contact across the burning alleyway, Izuku was off, sprinting as quickly as his untrained body would allow, spinning on his heel and tossing his backpack into the Villain's eye.

"Agh, you brat!!" The villain screeched, the gelatinous mass rearing back, slipping away from the blonde's mouth and nose.

"Kacchan!" Izuku exclaimed, clawing at the slime in an effort to free him.

"You.. eugh... damn nerd! What the hell are you doing here?!" He yelled.

"I couldn't just stand back and watch you die!" Izuku exclaimed, plastering the same wobbly smile onto his face.

Thee sludge villain raised its arm, intending to slam it down onto Izuku.

"Get lost you stupid brat!" It gargled.

Danger Sense spiked briefly, All Might surged forwards to intercept, and Izuku raised his arms defensively.

There was a blast of air, and All Might was there.

"I really am pathetic.. to think I would preach such words, but not live up to my own ideals! Pros are always risking their lives! Detroit..."

"Damn you All Might!" The villain screeched, trying to hit the hero.

  "SMASH!!!"

The crowd stared in wonder as the villain was blasted away and rain began to fall.

All Might and Katsuki stared in shock at Izuku, who was still standing defensively, his eyes squeezed shut and emerald lightning wreathed around him.

Opening his eyes, Izuku jolted in shock, staring at the green lights jumping between his fingers and along his limbs.

  "What..?" He murmured.

Katsuki was about to let off an explosion and start demanding answers, but stopped at the look of wonder on his victim's face. All Might just beamed.

All three of them were terrible actors. But Izuku was just a little bit better.

"Congratulations young man! It seems you've manifested your quirk at last!" All Might gave his parting remark before turning to the press with his beaming smile.

  _________

  Very well done there Ninth.

I have to say that was quite clever.

That'll save us a future headache!

You mean you're finally going to be quiet Daigoro?

  Hey!

Izuku chucked quietly, shaking his head at his family's antics.

"With all that out of the way, it's time to think about training. I remember all of the first Aim to Pass: American Dream plan, so I should be able to get started on the beach tomorrow.."

  Actually, I have an idea.

  "Really?" Izuku asked Yoichi.

Indeed. You want to become the strongest hero, right?

Oh god Yoichi no, kid, don't listen to him!

"Yeees..?" He said, phrasing it as more of a question.

Second and Third groaned in unison.

What? What's going on? Nana asked.

There's only one way to become truly strong. Yoichi began. It'll be tough, but you have to make sure to stick to this intense training plan no matter what!

  Izuku was extremely confused.

One hundred pushups! One hundred sit-ups! One hundred squats!

  Second screamed in agony.

And a ten kilometer run, everyday! You have to keep going, even when your elbows make strange clicking noises, to the point that your hair falls out! No heating in the winter, and no air conditioning in the summer. It'll be tough, but you have to power through it! It took me two years to get where I am today. All these people messing around with genetics and augmentations will never get this far. This is the only way to become truly strong.

  The vestiges were silent.

"Is that some kind of reference? And.. that training plan isn't even that hard. I did more during my original ten months than that. I'm sorry, I don't.. understand."

Yoichi, nobody gets your shitty references anymore.

Second! How dare you call my references shitty! You're just a sticky iPad kid!

SHUT THE FUCK UP YOICHI, I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR STUPID REFERENCES!!! What even is a sticky iPad kid??? Don't answer that.

Third, back me up here! You like One Punch Man, right??

I think your old training plan will be fine Izuku... Nana said gently, doing her best to ignore the squabbling boomers.
