After the battle with Fayemalice, she took the amulet and left.

The heroes regrouped.

Crow: She got away with the amulet, now what do we do?
Max: I don't know but that amulet must belong to that so called Lord of his.
Mortis: Let's not forget that the root she used on us didn't corrupt us, but it did something else.
Kaori: It purified us, stripped away our bad side for good.

Mani looked down to Lindworm.

Mani: Master what do you think we should do?
Lindworm: If we can manage to get the Corrupting Root from her then we can use it to purify ourselves and recruit other people who have good intentions just like us.

Jozef nodded in agreement.

Jozef: Yes, that's what we need to do but the only problem is that we have no way of finding where she is.
Wings: Don't worry I saw the way, she's not far away.
Max: Which side did she head to?
Wings: South from the Eastern Regions.
Brock: Right then let's split up.

They then began to go after Fayemalice.

The scene changed to Fayemalice who was running at high speed and she was trying to deliver the relic to the Lord.

Fayemalice: I bet those pure monsters are still after me... I need to do something...

She then looked at some deceased skeletons and pulled out her root to corrupt them.

They got up and saluted to her.

She then turned around and saw something which made her smirk.

The scene changed to a team that consisted of Mortis, Surge, Bea, Max and Crow.

Mortis: Come on we're not far away, I can sense her energy not far from here.
Bea: Fayemalice won't get away this time.

Then they saw a group that consisted of 12 skeletons that had red eyes with swords in their possession.

Max: She probably corrupted them to distract us.
Surge: Then let's take them down.

They clashed with the skeletons.

One skeleton tried to slash Crow with a sword but he swooped and threw a trio of daggers that hit him directly in the head and it flew off leaving only the body that fell down.

Surge and Max fired shots at some skeletons that caused the corrupted minions' bones to fly off.

Mortis did a spin dash that decapitated 2 skeletons and then created a medium sandstorm but it had a hint of gold powder in the the natural disaster.

Bea smashed a skeletons head and then we tackled 2 more until there were no more left.

Bea: We did it!
Max: It's weird... She only strenghten the skeletons that we fought but didn't corrupt them.
Mortis: It's weird indeed.
Crow: Ummm guys I hate to be the bearer of bad news, she made an exception.

He pointed at somewhere.

Crow: That one over there is Corrupted.

Then suddenly a huge slender over 7'0 feet tall was approaching them, he looked like this.

Surge: What the fuck is that thing?

The creature stopped and smirked at them.

Gartox: My name is Gartox and that's the last name you'll ever hear. And it will also be your last time you will be  getting in the way with someone who's working for the Lord.
Mortis: Guys I think it's time to fight him.

Tge scene changed to Fayemalice who was walking to the Lord's hideout but she suddenly encountered this figure.

Fayemalice: Who are you? And where is the Lord?
Dark-Er: Relax, the name is Dark-Er and I'm a Corrupted monster just like you.

He smiled wickedly and then the Lord's shadowy figure appeared.

The Lord: I happen to Corrupt him while you were away Fayemalice, my army needs to grow stronger and faster.
Fayemalice: My lord, I found your relic but I also made a terrible discovery. I tried to corrupt some other monsters but instead of them being Corrupted they became Pure and they want to stop Corruption.

The Lord scoffed.

The Lord: Is that so? Very well then, next time pick and corrupt allies carefully so don't you dare repeat the same mistake twice.
Dark-Er: You heard him Faye, you don't want the Lord to burn you.

He laughed.

The Lord grabbed his relic.

The Lord: Now go to the Village of Adventurers, also Dark-Er will accompany you on your way. The village has my armor and I want it back.
Fayemalice: I won't disappoint you my lord.
Dark-Er: You mean WE won't disappoint you OUR lord.

He cackled while Fayemalice scowled as they left.

The Lord then noticed something that caught his eyes he then went somewhere.

The scene changed to the 5 heroes that are fighting against Gartox.

Max fired laser shots from her bracelet but it had no effect on Gartox who charged like a bull.

Max dodged the attack and Gartox hit a tree as itself fell down to the ground.

Surge: Power Surge!

He upgraded up to tier 4 and pulled out his saber.

He fired elixir shots while flying to Gartox.

Gartox growled as he tried to swipe Surge with his claws but the robot hero dodged every swipe.

Mortis dashed and slashed Gartox on the back.

Crow fired a flurry of daggers at the Corrupted beast and they where stuck all over his body.

Bea then flew to Gartox and tried to use her head as a ram to slam his chest.

Gartox opened his eyes and caught Bea's head which shocked everyone.

Gartox: I'm gonna enjoy dismantling you bozos piece by piece.

He then used his inhuman strenght and tossed Bea to Surge who was still flying.

They collided and landed on the ground.

Mortis: Nooo!

He then created another sandstorm but Gartox squirted water from him mouth and it washed the vampire's attack away.

Mortis then dashed to Gartox who managed to catch the purified vampire by the throat and then slammed him on a near by tree.

Crow: This guy is like a wrecking ball!

Gartox ambushed Crow and used his claws to punch the human/bird hybrid but he used his elbows to block the blows.

Max: Hold on Crow!

She ran at Gartox with full speed and hoped to tackle him but to no avail.

Gartox turned to face Max and grabbed her by the throat and soon did the same to Crow.

He then slammed both their heads 3 times before letting them fall to the ground, awwing in their pain.

Gartox: You're wasting your time, you'll be nothing more than an anecdote when the Lord reigns.

He then turned around and walked away from the heroes who were hurt badly.

Max held her head as she slowly got up.

Max: Owww, what just happened?

Crow got up too.

Crow: Some Corrupted deformed crocodile beat us all up like punching bags, that's what happened..

Then the others got up who were too in pain.

Bea: That freak was too strong.
Surge: Tell me about it.
Mortis: We musn't give up yet, sure Fayemalice sent the creature to kick us to the curb but we are heroes and we shall not fall!

Max then fist bumped with Mortis.

Max: You have a point, I wonder how the others are doing.

The scene changed to the other heroes that consist of Kaori, Mani, Lindworm, Brock and Jozef.

Lindworm: Kaori, can you sense Corrupted presence?

She closed her eyes and tried to sense the movement.

Kaori: Right...

She then ran to that direction and then soon the others followed her.

Kaori ran in high speed and soon she jumped and pulled out a huge kick that would hit Fayemalice right in the jaws.

She was sent crashing to a tree and Kaori landed on the ground as Dark-Er looked at her.

Dark-Er: Wow nice kick!

Kaori then pointed her sword at Dark-Er.

Kaori: Raise your hands Corrupted monster.

Dark-Er chuckled as behind his shoulder a small bomb with legs appeared.

Dark-Er: Sick her.

The bomb jumped at Kaori and it hit her, the explosion send her crashing on a tree.

Then the others arrived in the scene.

Mani: Kaori what's-

They saw Dark-Er who was smiling and Fayemalice who was now getting up.

Fayemalice: I see you already found us.
Brock: Bitch, where are you heading now.
Fayemalice: Wouldn't you like to know.

Lindworm then pointed at her.

Lindworm: You can run but you can't hide from destiny.
Dark-Er: Shut your trap you stupid ugly clown.

Those words hit Brock's head like a train.

Brock's mind: Did he just say clown?

Fayemalice pulled out her whip.

Jozef: Will you just give it up Fayemalice, we all know how this will end.
Wings: So just give us the root.

Fayemalice cackled.

Fayemalice: Give you the root? Without it I won't have powers of unlimited lutim. I learned that emotions were an anchor that dragged me down but thanks to Corruption I am free from the sins and I am ready to roam around and follow my Lord's orders.
Dark-Er: What she said.

Fayemalice then had a look of resentment.

Fayemalice: You Pure monsters were a mistake I made and one that I won't repeat again. In fact let me fix it right now!
Mani: Get them!

They all clashed.

Jozef and Mani both teamed against Fayemalice.

She tried to hit Mani with her corrupting root but he dodged it.

Jozef pulled out a needle and threw it at Fayemalice who used her left claw to fling it away.

Fayemalice: Your toys can't affect me you fools!
Lindworm: Then we just have to use drastic measures.

He then looked at up at Mani.

Lindworm: You know what to do.

Mani nodded.

Mani: Hey you ugly skank come and get me!

Fayemalice growled at the remark and used her claws to try and hit Mani Pulate while Jozef was from above ready to attack her.

Brock fired rockets at Dark-Er who dodged the attacks.

He pulled out his extending boxing glove and fired it at Brock who moved away to avoid it.

Brock: Bro you always carry that with you?
Dark-Er: Yeah it's my weapon, now hold still and let me pound ya!

He then kept using his glove to attack Brock but the hero kept dodging until he ran to Dark-Er and did a Bicycle Kick to his face.

Then Gartox arrived to the scene.

Gartox: Fayemalice am I missing something?

She turned to face her ally.

Fayemalice: Gartox, so nice of you to join the party. Help me get rid of them.

Gartox then cracked his knuckles.

Gartox: Another day, more lives to be wrecked.

Then Kaori got up and saw Gartox who was charging to Brock.

She then ran towards the swamp creature and tackled him away.

Gartox stood on his two feet and smirked at Kaori.

Gartox: Impressive. Impressive indeed, little girl.
Kaori: This girl can do a lot things you won't expect.

She then jumped and tried to slash Gartox but he blocked the attack.

Fayemalice managed to pin Mani to the ground.

Fayemalice: Now die!

Then Jozef flew down on her and snatched the Corrupting Root from her pocket.

Fayemalice: No!
Lindworm: It's over Fayemalice, the root now belongs to us!

Mani then used all of his strenght and he then pushed her away.

Mani: Klaatu!

A green orb flew right at Fayemalice's face and she fell down on the ground.

Dark-Er: Faye!

Brock then fired a rocket to hit Dark-Er's face and he was sent crashing to a tree.

Brock: Suck it bitch!

Gartox tried to swipe Kaori with his claws but she ducked.

She then used her judo skills and managed to imobilize Gartox's legs and then grabbed his hand and slammed him hard on the ground.

She then threw him at Fayemalice's direction and the two collided.

Everyone then looked at the 3 Corrupted monsters.

Kaori: It's over, we bested you.
Jozef: And the Corrupting Root is now ours, go tell your Lord and see how he likes it.

Fayemalice pushed Gartox away and she got up.

Fayemalice: Fine, you will hear from him and you might even have the honor of being crushed by him.

She then left.

Soon Gartox and Dark-Er got up and looked at the team before leaving.

Lindworm: I think she's telling the truth, I think we will hear from this Lord of hers.

Then Max and the others arrived, the others noticed how bruised they were.

Mani: What happened to you guys.
Surge: Some guy Gartox kicked our asses like we were nothing dudes.
Brock: Ouch I feel for ya.
Kaori: And we fought with Fayemalice and her accomplices and we obtained the Corrupting Root from her.
Max: Awesome, we can now be purified, we should tell Iguanazar about this.
Crow: Are you sure it's a good idea?
Max: Yeah, what could go wrong but let's now purify ourselves.
