The multiverse, many wish to understand it; many seek to learn the secrets from it. The universes hide many great secrets hidden to those that aren't of high stature. But everything comes at a cost, one that will change the entire multiverse forever, thus the creation of the Dark Multiverse. These universes are similar to the ones they're based on, but where good wins in the original, these universes have dark endings.

One universe never had a chance to thrive fully, this one was of great threat to the existence of the multiverse. But this unknown universe was erased from existence, not a single trace of life left or so that is what many think. In the realm outside of the multiverse, there were guardians who kept watch over the multiverse, though they aren't the creators of those universes, they still watched over them to ensure nothing bad happens.

But only one remains, the rest of his kin were gone, killed by a being called the Anti-Monitor. This surveyor of worlds was the one responsible for saving one living being from that universe; a Kryptonian/Saiyan Hybrid who the guardian saw potential in. Though only an infant, it was best to save the boy from becoming corrupted.

???: "You are lucky that I've kept you alive, for you are the answer we are looking for. That dreadful universe you've come from was the next target of the corruption that has been going on, those worlds spawned creatures that are a threat to the multiverse. Like that Batman who Laughs, but he is not our main concern, for that is why you are the one he wanted me to save."

Time skip...

The young hybrid grew up in an unknown realm while growing up he trained intensely to improve his skills. His Saiyan half loved combat, though growing up without anyone to spar with got boring for him. His name was F/N L/N, though he doesn't know his real name. The realm he was in had intense gravity and both sides of him could withstand it, this made his power increase dramatically.

Y/N: "If only I could leave this place and explore more, I only wish to find out the truth of who I am. Though that guardian guy keeps bringing me food thanks to him!"

While during training a portal opened up which piqued the hybrid's interest, he flew down to see it was the same guardian who brought him to that realm.

???: "I see you've improved in speed, but have you improved your strength. Now then, if you wish to leave now then come with me. You're needed."

The hybrid-only nodded his head then he followed the surveyor of the multiverse to a new realm. The room they were in had technology that even the smartest person couldn't figure out.

Y/N: "Why have you brought me here?"

Surveyor: "I brought you here, to talk about your future. Y/N, I am here to discuss the end of the multiverse. The reason why you are here is to save it."

Y/N: "This is sudden, but sounds exciting at the same time!"

Surveyor: "NOTHING IS EXCITING ABOUT THE END OF ALL LIFE BOY! Ahem... Pardon my tongue, but this is a serious matter and you're treating it like a game! I want you to take this seriously if it wasn't for me you'd be dead."

Y/N: "Sorry sir! I'll try to do my best to take this seriously, I don't know what got over me, sir! I'm so sorry!"

Surveyor: "Don't be so formal about it, I forgot that half of you loves a good fight. Y/N, since I brought you here, it was destiny that you would the champion of the multiverse. The potential you possess is possibly limitless, thus making you a capable candidate for such a grand title. But, my mentor wanted you alive so he asked me to get you out of that dark universe to give you a chance to help others. This will be your chance to leave here, though you will be traveling to other worlds that you don't know of."

Y/N: "Yes!"

Y/N was very excited to finally be able to explore the multiverse, he always dreamed of seeing all the worlds that are different.

Surveyor: "But heed my warning, if you end up in the dark multiverse. Be cautious as those universes are corrupted and you will see some disturbing stuff."

Y/N: "Yes sir!"

Surveyor: "This is a big responsibility, so you will treat this seriously. Promise me and my mentor that you will save the multiverse."

Y/N: "I promise, after all, that intense training I went through will help. Though I would like to train with an actual strong fighter; if I am to get stronger, I need to find someone strong."

Surveyor: "You'll find them in the multiverse somewhere but for now you have to go to this universe..."

Y/N: "Which universe is this?"

Surveyor: "DON'T INTERRUPT ME, BOY!"

Y/N: "Sorry!"

Surveyor: "Ugggh... This is the one who is supposed to save the multiverse. We're doomed!"
