Face to face with the ruler of Apokolips, though Y/N sensed the energy of Darkseid. This energy was more powerful than Broly's, Y/N knew he stood no chance against this foe though he was determined to save the universe.

"I won't submit to a tyrant like you!" The hybrid shouted, though his words had little impact on the God.

The New God stands up from his throne, the features of him are more defining now that he stepped out of the shadow. His appearance was intimidating to hybrid, Darkseid was a being that one shouldn't face without a plan. Darkseid's arms were behind his back, the New God started walking towards Y/N, his very stature and the way he walks towards him was not something that should be taken lightly.

"That foolishness of yours will be your demise, now you face impending doom hybrid. You will suffer a fate worst than death, once you've suffered enough then will I grant you oblivion." Darkseid spoke with much malice in his voice.

Though the New God was intimidating, Y/N had to do the very thing he was reluctant to do. So the hybrid decides to power up as his aura was erupting from him, he yells out loud as Darkseid just watches this unimpressed. Y/N muscle size grows bigger than ever, the size of his muscles was almost similar to Broly's muscle growth.

He continues to bulk up as his hair grows bigger, spikier, and spreads in different directions. His pupils and irises disappear temporarily while powering up, yellow bio-electricity surges from his body. His height increased only by a little, his aura was flailing outward. Y/N had reached an advanced stage of Super Saiyan 2nd Grade, he had achieved Ultra Super Saiyan/Super Saiyan Third Grade.

"I may have sacrificed my speed for power, but I will do what it takes to protect the planet Earth." Y/N's voice was filled with determination.

Darkseid just smirks, he knew the hybrid wouldn't be able to beat him like this. "Then your foolish efforts will be in vain, I will have you watch as the many heroes of Earth are demolished." The New God's eyes began to glow brighter as the hybrid knew this couldn't be good.

"Uh oh..." The hybrid spoke with worry as two beams shot out of the New God's eyes.

Episode 14: The Escape

Batman was being carried to the prison by the Parademon, but knowing he was far enough. Bruce got out a smoke bomb and shoved it in the Parademon's mouth, this causes the creature to drop him and it starts blindly swinging its arms all over the place.

While falling, Batman uses his caped to glide down to the prison where he saw guards out front. Though this wasn't a problem for the detective, he quickly glides over to a vantage point surveying the area below and around him.

"If he's here, Y/N wouldn't be in the prison, this place would've been heavily guarded. That means he would be at Darkseid's throne room, but it would be a suicide mission if I head there." Batman got out some binoculars, he looked towards Darkseid's palace where he saw a yellow light emit from it. "He's definitely there, he'll have to hold his own for now."

Batman then pulls out a Batarang, he tosses it at the ground where the guards are at. Once it struck the ground, this caught the guards' attention as they examine the object in the ground. What they didn't expect was the Batarang expelled knock out gas, this causes the guards to fall to the ground unconscious for breathing the gas in.

Bruce jumps down, once he lands on the ground he looks over at the door that requires a handprint. So Batman walks over to one of the unconscious guards, he picks the guard up and brings him to the scanner. He uses the guard's handprint to gain access to the building.

Though this was the entrance to the prison, the prison is connected to the palace so Bruce had to find the control room. While he entered the building, there were plenty of Parademons patrolling the halls. He slowly made his way through the hall while still being stealthy.

He manages to knock out the guards in the hall, Bruce slowly continued his path to the control room though luckily it was only Parademons guarding multiple areas of the palace. Batman then looks around and finds an alternative way to the control room.

Y/N quickly grabs the ground below him and he grabs a clump of the ground up, the hybrid uses it as a shield while the beams hit it. The rock explodes and Y/N is sent flying back, the moment he lands on the ground he rolls a bit but he dug his fingers in the ground to stop himself.

Y/N got up not ready to give up yet as his aura emits from his body, his speed may be increased, but his power hasn't gone down too much. The hybrid tried punching the New God, though that was in vain as his right fist was caught by Darkseid. Darkseid slowly began crushing his hand causing Y/N to yell in agony.

Though the hybrid quickly headbutts Darkseid, this causes the New God to stagger a bit. Y/N quickly rushes over to the New God and punches him with both fists. Though judging by the sound of the punches hitting him, they were relatively weak.

"You dare strike me!" Darkseid spoke with venom in his voice. The New God slaps Y/N with the backside of his left hand, this backhand hits Y/N in the face.

The force of this hit causes Y/N to be knocked into a pillar which the whole thing collapses on him. The hybrid gets up from the debris around him, he felt blood trickling down from his mouth to his chin. He wipes the blood off then he focuses on Darkseid.

"I do dare! I won't just give up here!" The sound of determination was still in Y/N's voice as he hasn't lost hope yet, he was not gonna just let this God of Evil win. An orb of energy appeared in Y/N's left palm, he launches it at Darkseid which hits the New God in the face and it explodes on contact.

Y/N's aura erupts from him, he then unleashes a barrage of energy orbs at Darkseid. Once all the energy orbs hit Darkseid, they all explode on contact causing a cloud of smoke to form around the New God. Y/N gasps in shock and his eyes widen as the smoke clears and it appears Darkseid was unfazed by this. There was no scratch on him, Y/N just grunts angrily.

"Your feeble attempts to harm me are getting old fast hybrid, this game of yours is going to come to an end now." Darkseid's were behind his back again, this lets Y/N know that Darkseid wasn't taking him seriously.

But he quickly disappears leaving behind an afterimage, he was still fast but he was slower than he usually was since he bulked up. Y/N appeared right in front of Darkseid which he then kicks him with his left foot, the kick hits the New God on the side of his upper body, though this only causes Darkseid to slide back a bit.

"Damn! This form is using up a lot of energy, I still have some solar energy store but I'll use my ki for now. If only there was a sun here!" Y/N's determination was slowly fading being replaced with hopelessness.

But the hybrid thought quickly, he decided to hit Darkseid with a flurry of punches and kicks all over. This causes Darkseid to jolt from all the attacks, but they weren't really doing much damage to him. Y/N kept up his assault on Darkseid even though he knows he won't win this battle.

Darkseid's eyes began to glow once more as two beams shot out from his eyes, Y/N stops his assault and quickly dodges the beams though this proves to be useless. These beams changed direction and hit Y/N on his back causing him to feel great pain from this. Y/N fell to his knees from this as those Omega beams did a considerable amount of damage to Y/N.

"I told you already, your efforts to defeat me are in vain. You now kneel before me, that determination has fled from you. False hope would only get you so far, I would kill you now, but it would be waste to get rid of a being with your power." Darkseid grins a little whilst walking back over to his throne. "I will have Desaad bend your mind to my will."

Darkseid sat down while Y/N just stayed down, this was hopeless for him. Darkseid was just way too powerful for him, he was too weak to maintain the Ultra Super Saiyan state so he reverted back to normal. Some Parademons came into the throne room and grabbed both of Y/N's arms and they drag him off to have his mind reprogrammed.

Bruce was walking down a hall that was clear of any guards, he had knocked out a considerable amount of guards. While he was speaking around, he saw a couple of Parademons drag away a weaken Y/N. He saw a big hole in the back of his gi, Batman knew that Darkseid gave him a tough time. But Bruce knew if he freed him now, they wouldn't have a way to escape so he decided to follow them stealthily.

Luckily the room they were heading to was the control room, they strapped him down in a chair then both of the Parademons leave the room. Bruce kept to the shadows while he saw Desaad walk into the room. Though he wasn't alone as Granny Goodness walked into the room as well, Bruce decided to listen in on the conversation they were having.

"Darkseid does not want you to mess this up Desaad, after all, if you do my Furies will have to teach you a lesson. Granny doesn't like failures." Granny Goodness spoke with a sinister tone.

"The machine should be capable enough to even affect Superman, he will be under Lord Darkseid's control momentarily." Desaad spoke back with venom in his voice.

"You'd better be sure you do it right!" Granny spoke with a little anger in her voice. She left Desaad alone in the room while he activates the machine.

"Now then hybrid, let's twist that mind of yours around!" Desaad was about to activate the machine when a Batarang stabbed him in his right hand. This caused him to bleed and he looks back only to be met with a fist to the face.

Batman knocked Desaad out with one punch, he then notices the boom tube remote in Desaad's pocket and Bruce takes it. He then walks over to the machine and unstraps Y/N out of it helping him up to his feet. Though weaken Batman puts Y/N's left arm around his shoulder and he walked back to the way he came in.

The hybrid notices this effort that Batman is doing to save him, though weaken he was lucky Darkseid didn't destroy his bag of Senzu Beans. But he was too weak to get one out, Bruce gets the two out of the palace as Y/N weakly spoke to him.

"T-Thank you... You've risked your life to save me." Y/N wasn't expecting Batman of all people to come and save him.

"We're not out of here yet, once we get out of here you need to regain your strength. Then we will think of a plan to defeat Darkseid." Batman spoke bluntly.

"B-But why would you risk your life to save me? I thought you didn't trust me?" Y/N voice was faint but he was still able to stay conscious.

"Clark would've just came here and he would've fallen for Darkseid's trap. Clark trusts you, he believes that you have a good heart. I may not have trusted you at first, but you've shown me that you're not evil. You were willing to fight Darkseid on your own despite not winning." Bruce's voice was a little bit calmer as the two were about a good distance away from the palace.

But before Bruce could activate a boom tube to Earth, he was shot in the back by blaster from a couple of Parademons in the sky. Batman let's go of Y/N as he was hit with more blaster fire from multiple Parademons shooting at them. Bruce fell to his knees as his face was close to the ground, Y/N fell to the ground and he saw Batman was critically injured.

Batman was about to get up but then he was hit with one more blaster fire from the Parademons. Just then Granny Goodness and the Female Furies arrived. Batman fell to the ground then he fell to an unconscious state. Y/N's eyes widen as he saw the Dark Knight fall before his eyes.

"Batman? Are you okay?" Y/N's voice was that of worry, he forced himself to get up as he began to shake the unconscious Bruce. He tried to shake him awake but it didn't work.

Even though he didn't know Bruce that much, he still didn't want anyone to suffer for him. That's when tears started to fall from his eyes as the man who risked his life got hurt because of him.

"Bruce? You shouldn't have come for me! It's my fault you got hurt." This was the first time Y/N has ever shed tears in his entire lifetime, the tears drops hit the ground he then forced himself to get up. His eyes were now glowing red as the tears fell from his eyes, that's when his sadness was now replaced with anger.

"You..." Y/N's voice was filled with venom as he looks at Darkseid's army.

"You're gonna all pay! I'll make you all suffer!" Y/N's aura erupts violently from him, the ground began to shake violently.

"YOU'RE GONNA PAY!!!" Y/N's voice echoes throughout the entire area. He then started yelling loud enough for the entire army to hear, his aura spike causing dust to kick up and the ground to shake even more violently.

"GRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" His very scream made Granny Goodness and the Furies look with confusion. This scream sounded more beastly, it sounded like an Oozaru roar a little bit.

They all noticed that Y/N looked different, his aura was yellow and bio-electricity surges from him. His hair was much more spikier than a regular Super Saiyan, his muscle mass barely increased. His increased energy radiation made his aura appear to be jagged, fierce-flame like, it wasn't smooth like a regular Super Saiyan. But his aura was pulsing at a higher frequency. Y/N had become a Super Saiyan 2.

"You all won't get away with this, all of you will suffer!" Y/N's voice was more ruthless than usual as he glares at Darkseid's entire army.
