The young hybrid had a face of utter shock seeing the Man of Steel being that close to the explosion, his expression soon turned into one of anger. Y/N clenched his fists tightly, his fingernails digging into his skin drawing blood. His yellow aura was more intense now, he knew a new power source had arrived. Once the smoke had cleared, he saw Superman on the ground.

That dark energy bomb was enough to knock Kal-El unconscious, which would be incredibly hard to do. He looked around for the energy source that had arrived, but there was no sight of the source so Y/N quickly flies over to Superman and saw that Green Lantern was still alive.

Y/N: "Good, they're both still alive, but turning someone into an energy bomb against their friend is messed up. Judging by my physiology, Superman should have a healing factor. But mine is weaker than his judging by his exposure to the sun compared to mine. Only because he was exposed to it longer than I was."

The hybrid gets on one knee and was about to pull out a senzu bean for Hal but a little ball of energy flies past Y/N's face. That little blast hits a nearby tree causing a mini-explosion. Y/N kept his serious expression now able to hold the Super Saiyan transformation, he isn't using a lot of energy to maintain the form.

???: "So we meet again hybrid!"

Y/N: "You!"

The very person that appears before him is indeed Mira, Y/N wasn't one bit surprised to see him again. But Mira wasn't the energy source he sensed earlier, the one he sensed was much more powerful. Although he wants to have his match with Mira. Though that energy source vanished again, Y/N gets up and looks him, not knowing the origin of this creature though he had a hunch it has something to do with Towa.

Y/N: "So, we meet again Mira, we've never got to have our match because of Broly. But right now I have to help Superman and his friend so stay out of my way!"

Mira: "I assure you that I will not allow you to heal those two, both of them pose a threat to our plan."

Y/N: "Awe, scared of them, we'll judging by the power levels that I sense around this planet, they're not the only ones who could stop you. Superman is stronger than I am, so is Goku and Vegeta. But despite them being more powerful than me, I'll still won't give up!"

Mira: "Such determination won't help you here, I wish to siphon that energy you have. But the Kryptonian will be more than enough energy for this world, though there are many powerful beings here who equal or are even greater than Superman."

Y/N: "I won't let you do that, I made a promise to protect reality from beings like you! That is something I intend to do!"

Mira: "Them come and show me your power then, half breed."

Episode 10: An Old Rival

Y/N glared at Mira as he knew that as a regular Super Saiyan he wouldn't be able to defeat him, but then he had an idea. This was something that Vegeta taught him, but it could put him at risk if he doesn't use this properly.

Y/N: "HAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!"

The ground began to violently shake as rocks start floating up from the ground. Y/N's golden hair becomes slightly rigid while it pales in color. His muscle mass increased, thanks to the gi that Bulma made for him, it was able to withstand the expanding muscles. His aura increased and became more jagged, Mira looked at this interested in this display of power. Y/N's eyes were glowing red from the Kryptonian ability, Y/N had achieved the 2nd grade of Super Saiyan.

Mira: "Interesting..."

Y/N disappeared, this left behind an afterimage that fade quickly after it appeared. The hybrid appeared in front of Mira, he quickly hits Mira with a punch to the face with his right hand. This causes Mira to slide back from the force of the punch.

Mira: "So it seems you've powered up more, good, this fight will be interesting."

Y/N: "I'll show you!"

Y/N flies at Mira with incredible speed, he was going faster than the speed of light. Mira also flies towards at insane speeds, the two exchange a flurry of punches and kicks. The two were moving so fast that the human eyes couldn't track, so to a regular person the two would be seen vanishing in the air over and over again causing mini shockwaves in the sky.

Y/N punched Mira in the face with his left hand, while Mira punched Y/N in the face with his left hand as well. This causes both of their heads to jerk back a bit but they didn't move from their spots, the both of them smirk at each other. They then both fly back from each other, Mira was smirking thinking he made Y/N exhausted from their battle so far. But due to Y/N's Kryptonian physiology, he doesn't get tired as easily.

Y/N: "You were planning on making me tired Mira, well think again. Now I see why you tried to get rid of Superman. Because you know that both my mentors would annihilate you if they were both to fight you. Well think about it, I'm both a Kryptonian and a Saiyan, I'm a hybrid of the two races, which means that if I were to get stronger I would beat you in a fight. That's why you wanted to kill both of them, well sorry to disappoint you, but I'm gonna make sure that doesn't happen! I'm gonna protect the entire multiverse, all of reality from creeps like you!"

Mira had a look of shock on his face for a moment, then he started to smirk again not feeling threatened by the half-breed's words. Y/N's smirk disappeared from his face know that this guy has a trick up his sleeves.

Mira then began to charge a ball of ki in his hand, the color was similar's to Broly's when he was amped up by dark energy. But then Mira stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder, he then looks behind only to be met with a fist to the face. The power of the punch knocked Mira into the ground, Y/N had a slight smile on his face to see that Superman was doing just fine.

Superman: "It will take more than that to get rid of me."

Mira crashed into the ground creating a crater, he slowly gets up as he noticed that blood was dripping down his lip to his chin. Y/N's theory was right, he was weaker than both Superman and Goku. Mira then climbs out of the crater, he grunted in anger but then he knew he had to retreat for now.

Mira: "We will meet each other again, I assure you next time I will not be beaten so easily."

Mira vanished while Superman and Y/N both land on the ground, Y/N reverts back to his normal state as his muscle mass returned to normal.

Y/N: "I have a long way to go before I can take on this threat, I need to achieve the higher forms. Super Saiyan won't be enough."

Superman: "I don't know if I can help you with the Super Saiyan transformation thing, but I can teach you some Kryptonian martial arts. But I have some people I want you to meet, but first, let's get Hal to the medical center on the Watchtower."

Y/N: "Watchtower?"

Superman walks over to Green Lantern and picked him up, then Kal walks over to Y/N and both of them were teleported somewhere else. Once the teleportation completed Y/N had a look of confusion on his face seeing that they were in a new area.

Superman: "Y/N, welcome to the Watchtower. I want to ask if you want to join the Justice League?"

Y/N: "The Justice League?"

Y/N: "Me joining the Justice League? But do you think I have what it take?"

Superman: "Seeing how you strive to protect people, I know you will make a good member of the league."

Batman: "Are we sure we can trust him?"

Green Lantern: "I trust him, he gave me something that healed me right up."

Superman: "Batman, I can trust him, he hasn't shown evil intentions."

Y/N: "I promise I don't want to be a threat to innocent people."
