Chapter 1:

I felt groggy as I tried to open my eyes... Wait, wasn't I dead did I somehow survive.

"Good morning Demon Lord Vinar." 

I heard a very familiar voice, I opened my eyes and there she stood with her familiar silver hair her gorgeous figure wearing a different set of armor still there was no denying her uncanny beauty this was Princess Leah.

"Leah thank God you were able to survive."

"My Master you may call me as you wish but my name isn't Leah, I'm called Zelia." The answer she gave was given in a monotone voice her once radiant eyes where stoic.

"Leah are you trying to trick me? Why are you calling me Master?"

"Once again Master I'm Zelia and you are my Master Demon Lord Vinar." 

The girl in front of me looked like she was telling the truth, even if she is an extreme look alike of Leah why does she keep calling me Demon Lord Vinar. I looked at my hands I was wearing black gloves and bracers, I could feel an immense amount of mana circulating through my body. 

I tried walking it seem like I gotten a head taller than before, this castle was the most luxurious place I've ever seen. The details of the walls, the paintings, the furniture, and everything else seem to be of the highest class. 

I then found a mirror and what I saw in front of me was an unfamiliar teen. Hair and eyes as black as the night sky, a young and handsome man was staring at me... NO! Who is this?! This can't be me?

"Zelia tell me where am I?" 

"Master you are currently in the Demon Lord's castle, your castle located at the center of the dark lands."

"You keep on calling me a Demon Lord, but I'm human."

"Master I know you have just woke up from your birth, but please do not compare yourself to those weak humans. You are the mightiest of all the Majin, the leader of us all the Great Demon Lord Vinar."

"I'm a Demon Lord? and you keep calling me Vinar, who named me?"

"Once a new Demon Lord is born their name is etched on the throne." 

Zelia pointed at the throne I was sitting at, and right there written in a language I have never seen before, but oddly enough one that I can understand. The words written where VINAR. This doesn't make any sense, I just been born? Then what are all these memories of a human named Kite?

"Zelia do you know of a hero named Kite? or a princess named Leah?"

"I'm sorry Master the last hero of the humans was not named Kite he was called Lyner. There have been several human princesses named Leah, which one may you be referring to?"

A hero that wasn't me? Could this be the future? Could that life I had been a dream? No it can't be those emotions I felt, the pain I felt, all of those where real they had to be... I stared a Zelia and remembered something Leah said before the end, she would follow me even to my next life... Is this the next life she was talking about? But then why was I reincarnated into a Demon Lord? Why am I the only one who retained the memory of my past life? 

I went back and sat in the throne... Ok I need to calm down, truth of the matter is, I'm no longer the hero of the humans but the opposite I'm a Demon Lord. I have reincarnated alongside Leah I hope, still what am I suppose to do in this situation?

"Zelia tell me what does a Demon Lord do?"

"A Demon Lord same as a human king leads the Demon race."

"If I'm to lead why are you the only one here to welcome me?"

"I'm your personal assistant I was born only a few minutes before you, and it seems like I'm given the essential knowledge to help you my Master. Also it seems like that the different races have form factions here in the Dark lands, each faction seems to have a self proclaimed Demon king."

I'm not going to question where this so called knowledge comes from if she just woke up same as me, I need to deal with other problems first.

"How many factions are there?"

"I'm sorry it seems like that knowledge was not given to me."

"Do you have knowledge on my abilities as a Demon Lord?" 

"Yes I do, it seems like you can see your current abilities by saying 'open status bar'"

I did as Zelia suggested and said open status bar, it was then I saw a screen of sorts which had my name and other things written on it.

After checking the status bar I explained to Zelia what I saw and ask what the numbers mean as well as what the other abilities do.

"The numbers beside your abilities represent the current skill level of the ability. Normal abilities can be raised to 99, racial abilities can only be raised until 10, special abilities have no such limitations they can be enhanced to infinity. The question marks in your special abilities that haven't been unlocked are, either because your level is too low or you haven't established the proper requirements." 

"What are the proper requirements?"

"I'm sorry that is not part of the knowledge that was given."

"Ok then, so how do I figure out what and how to use the abilities listed?"

"Just concentrate on the word you don't understand and the information will flow into your brain."

Ok lets try it with analyze first. I started concentrating on the word and like Zelia said information started flowing in my head.

I see so that's how you use it, let's try it on Zelia.

What the heck, she has abilities such as cooking and cleaning... I'm pretty sure I know how to clean and cook but I don't have those kinds of abilities. Maybe her's is a special kind of cooking and cleaning skills... Still the abilities she has is like those of a perfect maid. Well whatever let's start understanding the other abilities.
