Fight and Punishment
After (name) took her seat, Mikhail opened his mouth to speak; "now that everyone is here, I'd like to explain the rules around here to you guys." He began seriously. Standing up, he began to walk around the classroom.
"As I am sure you all are now aware- you will be woken up at eight in the morning. Lunch and dinner will be in the Banquet Hall. I will call for people to inform you and lights are out by ten. Now for the rules..."
As Mikhail began explaining the rules, (name) placed her elbow on her desk allowing her head to lay on her palm. Her head spun from having to run so soon after waking up. Her back ached from her sleeping position while her neck ached due to her sleeping on one side of her face for a long period of time. But her mind had been cleared out the night before so she tried not to think about the pain too much.
Soon after Mikhail finished explaining the rules of the Sirius, everyone was dismissed and class would officially start tomorrow. All of the disciples stood up preparing to leave until someone's voice projected over all the other ones.
An unsuspected voice.
"Look at her. Late for the first day and doesn't even look presentable. No wonder why people call her a troublemaker."
Turning their attention towards the voice, a blonde male with sky blue eyes in a yellow hanfu with white clouds decorating it stood with his nose in the air. 'His eyes choke on arrogance' (name) thought to herself.
There the blonde stood with a cocky grin as four other disciples grinned with him. It was more than obvious he had more to say. "Lady (last), you really have a talent for failing, don't you?" His voice sweet with the disgusting feeling of pride.
(Name) could only bow, "Master Philip, I simply overslept." That didn't sit well with the blonde because he gave her a hostile glare, "simply overslept? I heard from within the grapevine that you don't usually sleep-" "if you have nothing else to say, I will take my leave."
Not getting the reaction he wanted made Philip's glare harsher as he gritted his teeth. Everyone was beginning to walk out of the building believing the squabbling was done and over with.
Philip had other plans. He decided to change the topic of his argument.
"Tch. Where are you going? Are you so much like your whore mother that you're going to find men to sleep with?"
This got (name) to stop in her tracks. Seeing her reaction, the blonde grinned knowing he had hit a sensitive spot. "No answer? That only confirms what I said. So who will it be? Your victim." Philip's prideful manners were almost too sickening for the teen girl to stomach. Unfortunately, she knew all too well how others would react.
(Name)'s (e/c) gaze turned harsh and she could hear others laughing and talking about her. By this point, she was used to it. It didn't bother her anymore how bad people viewed her- but when Philip brought up her mother, she couldn't stand it.
Yuliy saw this from a distance. He could practically feel her seething rage waiting to burst like a volcano. When his gaze fell to (name)'s hands, his eyebrows arched upon seeing it clenched with anger. Was she holding back?
"You and your whore of a mother are the same. You both thirst for men! I bet, right now, she's doing one of your servants without your father's knowledge! Ha! I feel bad for your father who was swayed by such a disgusting and shameless woman."
It took only a second. Within a blink of an eye, (name) had ran up to Philip and punched him in the jaw. Gasps were drawn from the lips of others at the flash of action that didn't even last a second.
With Philip on the ground holding his face in pain, (name) panted from a rush of adrenaline. She wanted to do so much more than punch this blonde peacock but couldn't due to Ryoko grabbing her arm, stressing that she shouldn't. (Name) looked back at Ryoko before glancing at those around her.
Their eyes hungry for the (h/c)nette to dig deeper into her grave. It's as if they were waiting for the hole to become so deep that climbing out would be impossible. They wanted to see her fall and get what she "deserved".
Despite how much she wanted to give the younger blonde another punch, (name) nodded her head as she and Ryoko began to walk off. Watching the girls walk off, Yuliy felt his legs moving on their own accord.
He wanted to follow them. He wanted to ask if she remembered him despite their brief meeting. He wanted to tell her that fighting was prohibited. He wanted to ask if she was okay. Placing a hand on the (h/c)nette's shoulder caused her to turn his direction. Opening his mouth to speak, Yuliy didn't even think- his mouth did the thinking.
"Fighting is prohibited." Was what he said with a face of indifference. (Name) only sighed while rubbing the back of her neck, "right. There's a punishment I should face for breaking the rule I just learned about, right?" She asked. Yuliy nodded his head, "since you restrained yourself before it got too bad, I'll reduce the severity of your punishment."
(Name) had told Ryoko to go ahead as she followed Yuily to wherever he was taking her to. Walking along a trail of cobblestone, the (e/c) eyed teen saw a large building. "Where are we going?" She asked the taller male who glanced back at her, "to the library." He answered.
Inside the building stood multiple shelves containing books of various subjects. At the end of the library stood two desks with a window behind both of them. Yuliy led (name) to a desk and pointed to it, "your punishment is simple. Write the rule you broke four hundred times." "four hundred?!" (Name) called out with wide eyes.
When she looked at Yuliy, his face was indifferent meaning he meant it. A sigh of defeat left her lips and with a pout, she sat herself down on the cushion of one of the desks.
Grabbing the paintbrush, dipping it in ink. (Name) began to write 'fighting is prohibited' on the piece of bamboo paper that was previously laid out. Her gaze serious yet bored as her hand flowed word from to word.
To make sure she didn't slack off, Yuliy sat in front of her and watched her. Looking at the shorter's writing, Yuliy could see her getting faster and faster as the result of her muscles quickly gaining the memory of writing the same words over and over.
Seconds turned to minutes which soon became hours. (Name) continued writing while Yuliy sat at the desk beside hers as he brushed his own piece of bamboo paper with a paintbrush. Unlike (name) though, Yuliy was sliding his brush across the paper creating a flow of ink. Each stroke was different- some softer and thinner while others were heavier and bolder.
He was drawing koi fish swimming in a pond with small flower petals creating a ripple.
Being so immersed in his drawing, Yuliy didn't notice (name) looking over his shoulder until she spoke up; "wow! I didn't know Second brother Jirov could paint." Yuliy jumped at the sudden voice.
Twisting his neck to look at her, he quickly hovered his hands over his art. "W-what are you doing?! I thought you were doing your punishment!" Yuliy exclaimed with a blushing face. Painting was a hobby he did to clear his mind. To him, it was an enjoyable past time that no one but his immediate family knew about.
(Name) threw on a triumphant grin as she presented Yuliy a couple of pages with nothing but the words: 'fighting is prohibited'. "I finished and even counted!" She shouted proudly. Yuliy gave her a searching gaze; 'her eyes hold truth... did she really count?' he thought before taking a glance out the window. The sun was setting and a few stars visible in the sky, even the clouds took in the warm tones of the oranges, pinks, reds, yellows, and purples.
Exhaling deeply, Yuliy closed his eyes while calming himself of his embarrassment. Clearing his throat, he spoke; "my brother will be calling everyone for dinner in the Banquet Hall soon. Let's be on our way, ourselves." Hearing the male's suggestion drew a grumble from (name)'s stomach. Thinking back, she hadn't eaten last night and ended up missing breakfast. It was a miracle she hadn't noticed how hungry she was until now.
"I apologize for that." A sheepish chuckle left the female's lips gaining a sigh from Yuliy, "it is nothing to apologize about. If I remember correctly, you were resting the night before so you didn't eat dinner. You were late this morning so you probably hadn't had breakfast either." The facts were harsh. (Name) knew that more than anyone so she had no trouble admitting her fault in her inability to eat.
Yuliy, though, seemed indifferent. It didn't matter to him. Standing up, he looked at the slightly shorter female, "let us go." His voice calm and clear, making (name)'s mood to brighten up as she followed the taller one out of the library.
