3rd person pov.
"Lin Chung!", First squad yelled as he and Nina fell into the hole below. As they were falling, Lin Chung tried to stab his staff into the wall of the hole to slow them down, but the stone was too strong to break, and it was too smooth to grab onto with their bare hands. They were running out of time as they got closer and closer to the ground when Nina suddenly got an idea.

Nina pov.
"Quick, hold onto me!", I said as Lin Chung quickly wrapped his arms around my waist. I summoned a gust of wind under us, causing us to start slowing down until we landed safely on the ground.

Lin Chung let's go of me before taking a step back. "You have powers?", Lin Chung asked, a bit surprised. "M-magic actually, but yes.", I say as I look down at my feet. "Why didn't you say anything about your powers before?", Lin Chung asked. "I-I didn't want you to think I was strange.", I admitted. "Why would you think I would see you as strange?", Lin Chung asked. "Well, I am not exactly normal. I'm a human girl with cat ears and a tail, and I have these powers. Who wouldn't think I was strange?", I asked as I sat on the ground and pulled my knees into my chest. Lin Chung came over and kneeled next to me. "Nina, you may not be normal, but none of us are. Look at my friends at Big Green and look at me. There is nothing wrong with not being normal.", Lin Chung said, giving me a soft smile as he stood up and held out his hand to me. I smiled back as I take his hand and stand up. "Thank you, Lin Chung, now how do we get out of here.", I asked while looking up at the deep hole we fell in.

3rd person pov.
Everyone stood where they were, stunned for a moment before they ran over to the hole. "Lin Chung! Are you okay?", Mystique Sonia yelled, putting her hands around her mouth to sound louder. "Is the princess okay?", Cat king yelled, sounding worried. "Don't worry, we're alright!", Nina yelled. "Is there a way for both of you can climb up?", Apetrully asked. "We tried, but the walls are too strong and smooth to climb.", Lin Chung said. "Is there a way you can send something down for us to climb?", Nina asked. "We shall try and find a way to get you out, but in the meantime, please be patient.", Apetrully said. "I'm sure they'll have plenty to do down there all by themselves.", Mighty Ray commented as he started making kissing noises, causing Mr. No Hands to kick him. "Ow! What?", Mighty Ray asked as he rubbed the back of his head. This is no laughing matter, Mighty Ray. Lin Chung and the Princess could have been seriously hurt. We need to get them out now.", Mr. No Hands said. "Woo the Wise, do you have any ideas on how to get them out?", Apetrully asked him. "Oh, but of course. I have many ideas that will work.", Woo the Wise said. "I don't have any ideas! I don't even know what to do! I'm a failure!", Woo the Wise cried in his head. "Yes, I have the perfect plan.", Woo the Wise said, once again.

High Roller jumped off of Bearstomp, realizing he was gonna be in a lot of trouble as he and the zebra brothers attempted to sneak away. Mr. No Hands then noticed High Roller and the zebra brothers trying to get away as he flew over and got in their path. "And where do you think you're going?", Mr. No Hands asked them. "What? I wasn't going anywhere.", High Roller said as Mr. No Hands was glaring at him. "Now now, we must not fight. We need to find a way to rescue Ling Chung and the princess.", Apetrully said as he got between them. "And why should I help Big Green?", High Roller asked. "Because if you don't, we will be forced to use our firecrackers on you for hurting our princess.", Cat King said as he and the other cats had tears in their eyes.

High Roller pov.
I hated to admit that I was nervous at that threat. Still, after remembering that the cats had chili pepper firecrackers, I was a little nervous. "Fine, I'll help save the princess.", I said. "And Lin Chung.", Mighty Ray said, causing me to groan in annoyance. "And Lin Chung.", I said as I crossed my arms. Even though I hated the idea of helping Big Green, I only agreed because as soon as I can get to the princess, she'll be mine.

Lin Chung pov.
"I guess we just need to sit and wait.", I said as I sat on my bamboo staff and pulled out my sketchbook as Nina sat on the ground with her legs pulled into her chest. I decided to start drawing Nina, focusing on her dress's details and the bored expression on her face.

After a while, I noticed Nina's dress had ripped, revealing her upper thigh as I was drawing her dress. I politely looked away, but then I noticed that her thigh was covered in a familiar-looking bandage. "What happened to your leg?", I asked her as I put away my sketchbook. "Oh, um, I accidentally cut myself when I was in the forest.", Nina said, blushing a bit as she quickly covered the bandage. "But I thought you said you weren't allowed to leave the castle.", I pointed out.

Nina pov.
"Uh, y-yes, that is true, but that's because uh... Y-you do not believe this do you?", I asked as Lin Chung shook his head. "Nina.", Lin Chung said as he kneeled next to me. "Are you the mysterious girl from the bamboo forest?"
