Welcome back to another week of Shenanigans and Fanfictions! Hope you're all excited because it's now Christmas week! And if you don't celebrate, well I hope it's still going to be an awesome week nevertheless! Now without further ado, let's get onto the recap!

First off this week, we have LilLoafie (that is such a cute username) who posted the draft version of The Free For All! There are trigger warnings so make sure to read those before jumping into the unedited story!

MoonTears is an AU by -Millipeede- where not only is Grian the sole member of the moon religion! With voices in his head and a lack of sleep, surely nothing can go wrong, right?

Speaking of AUs _SmolBudgieLord_ has one of their own titled Cold Outside! In their latest chapter, Bdubs finds a baby goat! So cute!! :D

Rye_Lie has updated Asylum, a sequel to On the Run with chapter 26 this week! There is a content warning in the book descriptions but if you're okay with what's listed then consider giving this book a read!

Crazy4Candy_ has brought us A Glitch In The System! A book that highlights the dangers of Doc, Zedaph and Evil X pushing the limits of the server! This is also a crossover au with the DreamSMP!

Who doesn't love a good camping story? (Looking at you Saph) Although not written by them, Hermitcraft Camping Trip! (High school au) can be found on ThatOneWaterCat's account! It's actually written by their younger sibling!

It's rarepair time! Misunderstood, Feared and Secretive by CWellerman is set in Season 7 and is centered around a secret relationship between Grian, Hels and Evil X!

EntropicThyme has given us more School Out of Context quotes in their Crew-style School AU book! They're always a treat, and we always like reading these after lots of horrible, soulcrushing angst.

And now that we've brought up angst, we have to talk about Steel Blood by EmberDragon34 has been updated this week with chapter 21, full of some heart-wrenching scarangst! (is that a new word? yes, yes it is.)

To all the Coffee and Fairy Lights fans, this is your lucky week! sixth_constellation is republishing and editing the original, and we are super excited to see what they do to with it. Reworking stories always seems to add a lot to the work, and the team is pretty excited to see this.

EmberDragon34 has started a new book; Land of Memory! It is a continuation of their previous books Labyrinth of Monsters and Prison of Death. We highly recommend taking a look if you enjoyed Labyrinth of Monsters and Prison of Death.

After a failed potion, Cub is left with a baby Bdubs who he dumps onto Grian to take care of in Hermit_Multishipper latest oneshot in their Hermitcraft Multiships Oneshot book! Let's see whatever the heck Cub is going to do with that, I for one would not know what to do.

Rearturningtochrist has been working on a 25 Days of Hermitcraft one shots book! Day 14 was a Scarian fic, which oh heck yeah. Good job on staying committed to the daily updates!

In need of some sibling hurt/comfort? Well Xanthicat has just the drabble in their Hermitcraft Oneshots, which made us cry and bang our heads against the table, and we are sure you will too.

Repaired by V10l3t_wr1t3s has the Sleepy Bois from the DreamSMP transported to Hermitcraft, lets see whatever happens next! (it is probably not calm and peaceful)

Congratulations to AxolotlQueenAQ for hitting 80 followers, Void_vacancy for hitting 100 followers, and vestigially's Hermitcraft s8 Oneshot book has reached 1k views! Congrats friends!! :D

Now moving on from those, we have a few other announcements to get to before we wrap things up.

CrystalResist has announced they're going to be less active. We'll see you around! Following up with that, GalaxyRainbow_13 is putting their book A New Life on hiatus for the time being, and Hermitcraft_Queen is moving to ao3, and we all wish you luck on your new fanfiction journey!

And speaking of ao3, how would you all feel if we included ao3 fics into our recap? We may be centered on Wattpad, but Hermitcraft fanfiction is Hermitcraft fanfiction! And there's a pretty decent sized community over on Archive of Our Own! Let us know if that interests you, we would love to hear from you all.

It can sometimes be a bit hard to get a lot of different things to Recap from Wattpad, mainly because they got rid of a few things that really helped us (there was a tab that used to show the activity of people or smthin i forgot the name), and just, in general, this website isn't the greatest. Ao3 on the other hand is pretty good with helping find new stories and people, so including it in our Recaps would help us reach more parts of the fanfiction community, and also help us not repeat stories as much.
