Interpretation is up to the reader, with who the hermits are and what their relationship is. This wintery oneshot was so soft that my heart melted into a shapeless puddle of joy upon reading <3 <3

KeichiAkechi24, formerly known as exKeichi, exHermittpadder, and KeichiAkechi, brought back Author QnA with a vengeance. With topics ranging from swearing to practical jokes, Keichi's questions are a great way to get to know yourself and the people around you. 11/10 would recommend taking a look.

AestheticMoonie began writing her Guardian Angel AU! The first chapter introduces us to an overworked admin and a millennia-old angel. Mumbo gets adjusted to the server and starts working right away; keeping X mentally, physically, and emotionally stable is no small task. Luckily, they've chosen the right spoon for the job ;D

Several Hermittpadders made good use of the Hunger Games Simulator these last few weeks; itsrba_watt2 and WindyHurricane_01 recreated the bloodbath with hermits and Wattpadders respectively. Fun reads all around, gotta love murdering your friends in cold blood.

thathermitweirdo updated their story Watched this week- Grian escapes the Watchers and jumps through a portal to find Hermitcraft, evading the eyes of the Watchers for nearly two years. Manipulative, cold, calculating, the Watchers track down their escapee, infiltrate the server and gain control over Hermitcraft little by little. bliMeY, that's pretty rough.

SausageLoli updated about seven times in the same hour, all with crack posts like TFC saying yeet incorrectly and Grian falling into depression after Mumbo doesn't respond to his messages. All 100% accurate and a gift to our notifs, thank you, soldier.

OpalReader88 also gifted our notifications with some video screenshots and tweets of various hermit interactions. Gotta love these wholesome snippets of convo :D

Despairing_Heart wrote a small Hermitcraft oneshot for a school assignment; taking Stress' real name and placing her into a beat-up car that's low on gas. Natalie is unusually paranoid tonight, and when she sees a hulking, tattooed man approach her she immediatly opts with flight, flight, flight. This oneshot is really something- I hope ya got the best grade possible :D

Folana030 updated their HC zodiac book with minecraft bases as zodiac signs (or is it the other way around?). Will your sign be in a mushroom or a cave? The ocean or the mountains? Folana's got you covered ;DD

weirdo_nojudgies updated their Super Grian AU with- a bunch of cryptic squiggly text?? Pages of black streaks, mysterious scene snippets- what does any of this mean? We'll have to wait a bit to find out, since the author closed the book after dropping these strange posts.

TsunamiStarz wrote a crack oneshot of Grian and Mumbo reading Grumbo fanfiction. Except for some reason, they find themselves on some pretty mature stories and it, uh- it isn't great. Just..yeah, not excellent.

SmokeyLotus is consistently updating us with their story "Respawn"- we start with Scar x ground, and then we get some confused Scar, then there's Scar in a boat, so stay tuned for more of this lad. Oh, and for the mysterious broken respawn concept Lotus is basing their story around. Scar is just an extra bonus :D

ChampionMa100 wrote a final songfic for their book "Love, Tears, and Stars", using the song "Happier" by the Marshmello man himself. We were promised a happy ending to this story, so time to see if Champion will deliver. Hold tight to your seats, everyone. This last chapter is one heck of an emotional rollercoaster to read.

kiiwiiowo updated their art book recently with a big hecking compilation of pixel, pfp, traditional, and digital art. I don't know how but everyone here on Hermittpad has such a pretty art style- how do y'all do it jesus, these pieces are so visually satisfying to look at agejrnchkr that sentence sounds really weird someone edit this plz i'm dying

quiddlz dropped another chapter of their HC/YHS (hermitcraft, yandere high school) crossover this week. This story is set in the aforementioned high school, with (almost) the entire hermitcraft high school attending as students- plus Sam and Taurtis, Grian's friends. Despite a slightly disturbing prologue, everything in this school seems normal at first; classes, food fights, gym. That is, until a strange student wearing bunny ears appears, and Impulse starts acting a bit off. Things spiral downhill as online identities get revealed, knives get involved, and an attempted murder comes to light. This school isn't as fun as it once seemed..

aiMHana made it to 100 posts in their s7 hermitcraft stuff book. This marks their 700th post ever in their "Hermitcraft Stuff" series, which is..pretty wow, if you ask me. In celebration, Aim compiled a chapter of their artwork, a voice reveal, a QnA, and a timeline of the headcanons/styles of all their older books.

A few people did QnAs this week, actually; paulamm2, emberdragon240, and becca4leafclover, to name a few. We all know each other a bit better now, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Emerald_Gemstones updated "Hermitcraft: Into The Roblox World" this week and lemme tell ya, seeing that notification after binge watching two hours of Ruben Sim's horrifyingly enigmatic Roblox content made me flinch a bit. Nevertheless, I pushed away my PTSD from SCP roblox games and clicked. Let me also tell ya, you should also push aside your war memories from nine year olds on The Streets and take a look at this crossover. A group of hermits jump through a strange portal and find themselves in the wonderful world of Roblox; a tour guide named Alyzah shows them the ropes, giving an overview of some main games and universes on the platform. The hermits quickly escape her company and busy themselves trying to understand the games- little do they know, a mysterious trio is watching them....

UnknownAlicia added to their demon AU this week with a chapter titled Emotions. The Demon World AU is just a world where demons exist- demons being supernatural things who can take animal forms and have special abilities. Alicia decided to assign all the hermits certain powers and forms with this universe, which can be found in their first exposition of the AU, and have since been updating with art and, as mentioned above, their first piece of writing for the AU, Emotions.

RexCorvus09 wrote a oneshot in their Griangst book (hA love that name), as an alternate ending to a book written earlier. Seems Grian/Sam angst is popular this week, because this shot featured the maniacal man himself and a rather bedraggled, brainwashed Grian. Happy ending, maybe? Hopefully? We'll have to take a leap of faith and hope that we get one with this shot.

Xyekem started writing a hermitcraft spirit animals AU this week; everyone knows the basic concept of humans being tethered to magical familiars, but in Xye's universe, this animal is a death sentence. Bonded humans are imprisoned, experimented on, and tortured by the unbonded as they search to understand why this phenomenon occurs. However, one group of bonded humans flees, frees, and escapes the horrors of the unbonded by living out in the middle of nature. And you know it; they call themselves the hermits.

AlterlineSucks updated their story The Other World (and they also updated their username so anyone tagging them would be insulting them >:|)! This story is set in your average hermitcraft universe, shortly after the hermits had killed the Ender dragon. Jevin discovers a strange End island full of mysterious wildlife and an odd, never-seen-before portal. He immediately calls Xisuma who, operating by a y'all-suffer-with-me mentality, decides that the hermits will all go through the portal together. What could be awaiting them in this other world...?

BTS-1MAG1NES wrote a chapter of incorrect quotes (featuring Zloy, Pixl, and this Bill Cipher dude)- Zloy questions reality, Grian asserts dominance with the weather and Keralis gets in a fridge, for some reason. I mean, honestly, how many Cub fans are there....?

GunshotRoses111 hit 100 reads on their book the day right before their birthday! But... we can make that number bigger, right? Go check out their oneshots book! It's pretty awesome!

_adrilia_, meanwhile, has been teasing us with the potential for a new story, which will come at an unknown time. For now, she's working on the final four (!!!) chapters of Hermitcraft: Origins, and then making us cry by adding emotional music and quotes to each chapter.

Casuallyy is craving Bdoc and hxrmits is begging for xBeralis, go feed the hungry shippers.

Jasreon threw down a chapter of incorrect quotes this week (is this like, the third time I've mentioned incorrect quotes so far?? guess that's popular too nowadays :D). Highlights are forks in the garbage disposal, lots of chickens, and a forlorn waffle. The vine influences are everywhere, people, wake up!

HaplessLoki6791 updated their Grumbo series 'Keep You Safe' this week. Right before Grian leaves for season seven, an unexpected visitor shows up at his base. The hermit forgot to tell his closest friend that he was leaving- Mumbo is, understandably, quite upset. Tension only increases in the next addition, when Grian finds an abandoned note Mumbo intended to give him. We await the last installment with bated breaths..

Cramsalesman leapt into our notifications with a chilling horror oneshot- I don't know what to make of this piece, it's really something. Cram knows how to send chills up your spine, let's say that. Arabic phrases, corrupted text, mysterious antagonists under mysterious circumstances. Every inch of me wants to know more about this plot, but at the same time, I'm a bit scared to know more haha.

Art_With_Pika_Mica wrote a spinoff of becca4leafclover 's Tattoo AU, where every hermit has a certain tattoo that gives them powers. In Emily's version, the ConCorp boiz are seen as villains by the rest of the server because of their "bad" tattoos, so Grian drops by out of curiosity. Well, he drops in guns blazing and threatening their lives, but it's about the same thing.

RaeTheStar updated with a rare ship fic- Renskall is such a classic but immortal ship, it never gets old. Our scenario today: sick Iskall (sickskall??) and lovesick Ren. This was honestly one of the fluffiest, sweetest ship fics I've read so far- please Renskall shippers, don't miss out on this fic!

happyhermitcraft updateddd!! Check out their account for rewritten angst of all genres and hermits. This time we get platonic Grumbo served hot and fresh by Zo (oh god hot and fresh that sounds wronG), and rewritten from Polar.
