The roleplay recap will switch off with the community recap every week; this week you have the community recap, next week we'll have a roleplay recap up. And GOODNESS, is there a lot of roleplay to cover, so..we're a tad intimidated. Forgive us if we abridge things a bit haha.

OOTIITRW is still a thing, don't worry. We're waiting to get most of the stories in; the deadline is flexible and we understand everyone has lots of things to do in their daily life, so we'll hold off on any further updates until a majority of the chapters have come in. The team has a few ideas on how we can continue and we will be messaging everyone on how they'd like to continue this crossover.

If you applied for the recap, we are still looking over the applications and will message the appliers when we've come to a decision. This is a really hard decision- all of you had excellent applications, so please don't take it hard if you don't make it in.

22jgardner was proclaimed the mother of Hermittpad. Not sure what else to say about that.

VivaLaGrianlution has appeared to fight for a more diverse, less Grianified future for Hermittpad. Writing about Grian is still, of course, completely acceptable; let's remember to stay respectful to all hermits and writers. However, a bit of constructive criticism never hurt anyone, and this account will be useful to all uninspired writers.

(Let's be honest, who here started out writing Grian? And why is he such a go-to option for Hermitcraft fanfiction? Some things have no answers.)

@LeaTDL made a fantastic minecraft animation, which you can find in their Hermitcraft: Escaping Insanity book! Though not an HC-related work, this Steve Saga fanimation is really something! To the bouncing beat of Opinions by CG5, we were hooked by the smooth movement and impactful action of this animated creation. Lea is thinking about making a Hermitcraft animation next, so drop a comment in their book for some possible plotlines they could use for this!

BOOSTIOOOOO reorganized their jam-packed incorrect quotes/headcanons book (that book is s o entertaining to read through, like seriously omg) and has announced they will be taking a break from Hermitcraft to pursue the BNHA fandom. Thank you for your contribution to this community, and we'll be waiting with open arms should you find yourself writing in HC again!

hermittpadgang revived their account with a banger of a oneshot called Storm on the Horizon; an angry storm and an angry Scar find Joe as he is in the wrong place at the wrong time; we were sure we were in for an angst train until this oneshot took a more..crackhead route. Waffle-Ninja, hapyhappiness, AjexxanAlterline and p3pp3r_, thank you for this unexpectedly unique story. I still have no words for this shot's plot twist.

JustAGnomeAndAnE has invited us to be their guest in a soul-wrenching fanart of Mumbo as Belle; just BEAST your eyes on this sparkling, glamorous Mumbo Jumbelle as he spins his way into your heart. @soiamaxx is pioneering their organized crime AU this week, which will tear your heart apart just like the friendships of this Hermitcraft city have been torn apart by gangs. We have Doc, Beef, Etho, and Iskall on one side, and Bdubs, Cleo, Jevin, X, and Keralis on the other. Anyone who's watched a single episode of Hermitcraft can see what chaos would ensue from that combination; throw in a voodoo Zed, a policewoman False, and a medically-skilled Ren, and there's a full recipe for disaster. As well as that, Scalpho has created an alternate universes, Danganronpa- style Hermitcraft killing game- told from Doc's point of view, the entire Hermitcraft cast is locked in a giant, inescapable building. With strict rules and rising tensions, who will be the first to kill for their freedom..?

AestheticMoonie published the plans for their guardian angel AU this week! Each of these angels are in charge of protecting a certain person, like a guardian (haha see that's why they're called guardian angels, see?? hahahagahagg). Mumbo has been assigned to watch over the powerful mortal Xisuma- this is fine and all until Mumbo falls in love with X like the s p o o n t h a t h e i s . WILL Mumbo navigate his growing feelings? WILL X find out the truth? Well, we'll have to see because Moonie hasn't even begun writing this AU yet. Go spam their oneshots book until they do (jkjkjk that's counterproductive).

Indominus_Gaming is hitting 200 chapters in their oneshots book; to mark the occasion, they've drawn an epic-scary-edgy demon Grian, an epic-scary-edgy evoker Grian, and a regular old Evil Xisuma.

@happyhermitcraft went updating with a bang; the happier rewrite of -y-tho-'s tragic argument oneshot, in which..well, we can't give away too much, but people die and people are stabbed and it doesn't end very well. We can assure you, the happy team will put a smile on your face with this much-less-murdery ending!
