Hey Hermittpadders, welcome back to your somewhat-weekly newsletter, which is currently crashing and burning! :D

Yes, this recap is over a week late, and we're all very sorry about that. We're currently trying to recruit some new members and develop a schedule that we can actually keep up with. Hopefully something like this won't happen again in the future. Luckily, we have some great news too!

First up, we get to introduce our new recap member, XyeLysian aka Xye!! Welcome to the team, we're glad to have you here!

We are looking through Recap Applications currently, so if you want to give it a shot, go ahead and sliiide into our description, and fill out the application. If you've already submitted a form, go ahead and give it another shot! The recap isn't a massive commitment, but we really need some dedicated members who are willing to put in the time and effort!

Anyway- first up, as normal, we have the lovely milestones!

@radiant-kitty and AHyperFerret have both hit a N I C E 69- I mean 70- followers! Congrats, you two! @potatoships_ayyyy got 90 followers, and Newfoundland_Aiden is now at 110! Jeina58 hit 134 followers! And last but not least for the follower counts, OdalRune314 got 260! Congrats, everyone!

Next up is book milestones, and ohhh boy, we have some impressive book milestones this week! Azael's oneshot book hit 2k reads, ShinyTheWeirdo hit 400 reads, radiant-kitty got 20k, and @Casuallyy bringing it in with the 25k! And owo what's this? aiHana 's book called "A Lot More Hermitcraft Stuff" just hit A HUNDRED THOUSAND views, holy shit- (LANGUAGE!)

Congratulations to everyone here, you all deserve the recognition on your books and accounts! Now, let's see what the talented authors have been up to :D

PowderMcMc soars in with some headcanon tests done "for 'scientific' purposes," including reactions to nose boops, sleeping positions, and type of drunk headcanons. "Scientific analysis only" or not, I still got a major kick out of these headcanons!

Moonsong2003 delivered some fresh Griangst for all you angst lovers out there! Set in Season Six, the new oneshot features major injuries, a secret tunnel, and the iconic hippies. What could go wrong, right? :D

QueenChaos48 opened a new drabble book! It currently features two Bdoc drabbles, and you know it just had me melting-

FandomsUnite05 fulfilled a request in her oneshot book, bringing us some platonic fluff featuring the Hermitgals, set during MCC 5!

IAmRedXD is back at it after a burnout, coming back full force with a brand new Beef x Etho oneshot! It's got so much blushy awkwardness and gay panic, and I'm totally here for it.

Anon1909 wrote a very soft Rendoc songfic with the song Photograph by Ed Sheeran! And when I say soft, I mean "had me choking back fluffy tears at 1AM" kind of soft-

minecraftfan32 wrote some very light Cleo angst with the prompt "stitches" used very cleverly!

TheExoneratedManiac brings us some Ren and Bdubs hurt/comfort with werewolf Ren! Come on, surely I'm not the only one who's a total sucker for this concept-

cupscorner wrote a platonic high school AU oneshot, based on an experience from her own history class! Love seeing oneshots inspired by real experiences

Seanathan26 delivers some rare poly ship hurt/comfort content with Cub x Scar x Grian! Grian's a bit worked up, but Cub and Scar are there for him despite their inherent business rivalry between Concorp and Sahara! Gah I didn't know I needed this in my life-

Snouwball fulfilled a prompt from the Hermittpad server in which Doc is known as pretty much a blackmail master on the server, having video evidence of dozens of embarrassing and "secret" moments from the others. But as it turns out, he might not be the only one with blackmail!

estheravenger fuels the Stress x Iskall x Bdubs shippers with a new oneshot of this rare ship! It's got some angst at the beginning and some fluff at the end to balance it out. Flangst and Strisskadubs? How can you go wrong? :D

AquaticMcFan published an interesting fantasy AU oneshot, featuring none other than Pixzloy- we stan some content with these two, who says the Hermitcraft server has to get all the attention?

OhHeyItsLoki blessed us with some epic Mumkall floof! The writing on it's own is amazing, but what makes it better is that they just wrote a full poem as part of the oneshot- like bruh, if that isn't some serious dedication then idk what is.

Speaking of dedication, Ariyaquila is pumping out Hels content like an absolute legend. Angst, fluff, and in between, it's all worth reading! :)

And because we all need more Hels content, make sure to check out 0the0bees0knees0 book, where they drew an amazing art piece of our Nether-y sinnamon roll- seriously, this art deserves all the appreciation in the world, y'all are so freaking talented.

Peregrine234 started her new book, A Rift In Time- it's an exciting time loop AU, and I'm super hyped about this one :)

Ash_InTheFlames wrote some fluffy Stresskall! Excuse me while I go scream into a pillow about how utterly soft this is, thank you for your service Ash!

Indominus_Gaming delivered an awesome oneshot based on the Mycelium Resistance, with some great art to go along with it.

Casuallyy and _adrilia_ both opened anonymous reader surveys on their conversation pages this week. Each was a Google Form with a series of questions to help each writer tailor to their reader audience

Lmao Hermittpadders are recreating Hamiltion using a discord server this is lit yo (oh god i need sleep dont i) (yes go to sleep)

DreamerOfTheRealms turned 15 this week! Happy birthday :D

Lili_est_vivant is officially back, and published their Beef x Etho book "3020"

SharkBait_13_23 lost a bet to @2braincellsSalem earlier last week. Because of this, they were forced to write a Team ZIT angst oneshot for once- hOw dArE- but in all seriousness, it's some nice hurt/comfort! Join the angst side SharkBait, we have cookies! >:3

Also- Editor Smutler here- Sharkbait did you change your name cause I said its hell to type last time? lmao love you man

Carrie has changed their username to Quiltette, and SharkBait has changed the numbers in their name, now it's SharkBait_13_23!

XyeLysian's hosting a Hermittpad "Among Us" AU, where 10 Hermittpadders join together and try to find the 2 imposters in the midst.

HermitcraftSnake said long-haired Scar, and WE AGREE, YESSSS- As well as posting a few announcements about this, they drew it in their art book! Make sure to go check it out!

Now, we were glad to tune in, but now we have to tune out. We are extremely sorry for the delay, but we really did need this so we could sort out everything and struggle to get onto a schedule.

To make the recap come out easier, I would suggest using the "Hermittpad Recap Submissions" to be able to help us gather info at a much quicker pace. Remember, any news is helpful to us, so don't be afraid to drop milestones, book recommendations, and more. You can find the link in the description of our account.

And, following that, we encourage you to try out for the Recap Team! You can find the link to the forms to try to enter in the desc of our account. We are always looking for new members, and you never know if you are the perfect fit. If you have already applied and you got rejected, you can always try again if you feel like you've grown.

(I would say try for the Recap Team, hell they accepted me, a smut writer -Smutler, the smut writer that for some reason is in this PG13 recap)

Also, if you do get accepted into the team --and you're on the Hermittpad Community discord server (PM us for a server invite if you'd like to join- we're pretty lonely-)-- that does not mean that you will be given admin immediately, though you may later down the line if the rest of the admins think that you have what it takes to handle it! :D and trust me, it gets a bit mentally draining at times-
