Helloooo everyone! It's so lovely to see all of your wonderful faces again for another week of Hermittpad! We are really glad that you were so happy about the last week, and all of us are excited to keep working and bringing you all these chapters!

We are excited to have y'all here! As always, we are going to plug every single thing we can.

Now, our next news isn't much of a plug, but it is a big invitation for everyone reading this message! A while back, months ago, there was a giant roleplay community on Hermittpad.

It consisted of mystery accounts, such as Poultry_Man_ , _GMAN_, ParrotMan_3, SallyTheChicken, dispiritedlarkspur! (yes i pinged you and no you cannot complain losers) If you take a quick scope of said accounts, you can see what the roleplay was really about.

You can either make a character of someone previously existing on Hermitcraft, make up a new one, or just have a completely different OC all together! Some people make completely different accounts for their roleplay, or if you're like Azael and are lazy, you can roleplay on your main account.

There aren't really any set world rules or boundaries, however, gentlemen's rules still apply, as well as common courtesies (for example, using brackets when talking outside of roleplay). We actually used to have a roleplay recap book, and it's still up if you want to read it and learn about the history of the roleplay!

I would recommend reading the Roleplay Recap, a book we have on this account (although it's on hiatus) if you want to know the past and what kind of crack roleplays occurred!

Now, a reminder to everyone, the art contest for our lovely banner is going to be ending in a week. If you have submissions, you can post it in a book and @ us, or you can post it in the Discord Server and @ a Recap Admin! (@helicopter_stan and @FearMyFish are Azael and King, and we don't mind being pinged.)

Now that we have babbled about all of that, let's get on with our book recommendations and updates for this week!

Hermitcraft: Resistance is by __lonleywriter__ and is a story about love, hardships, heartbreak (I may be talking about the readers or the characters, who knows (: ), and will be sure to leave you on the edge of your seat! It's incredibly intriguing and I enjoyed looking through it a lot, and I'm sure you all will also!

Now, we try not to Recap multiple things by one person in one Recap, but we just had to for Qgears! This person not only has a really interesting book called Aftershock, which is a Hermitcraft AU about Grian becoming surrounded by the need to just murder his other Hermits. I'm sure some of you will find this book a wonderful delight! And, along with Aftershock, Qgears has a really interesting concept of an idea where they will be writing a story, and the readers get to decide where it goes. It is called Hermittpad Writes Angst, and I really suggest you all look into it!

Moving on from us simping for Qgears, issac_thevoidwalker has made an adorable short drabble within their oneshot book about Xisuma being short (shocker I know), which Doc and Bdubs think is adorable and playfully bully him. If you're in the mood for something light and fun, we suggest this book wholeheartedly!

Two Different Worlds is a mermaid AU book written by XandeaTheWatcher! It's got shipping, pirates, and so much more you should check out!

brightshinerVI updated Coffee and Fairy Lights! What's going to happen at Wels' Christmas party? You're going to have to wait and find out by reading this amazing book! ;)

Did someone ask for more watcher content? Because DakotahWinters is here to fulfill your needs with Hidden Consequences! They just updated chapter 3, where we see the hermit's reactions to the note! Go read it, this book has been super interesting so far! :D

thathermitweirdo updated their oneshot book! It's angsty and sweet at the same time, and is centered around Grian's panic attack at dodgebolt last MCC. It's a really good read, make sure to check it out.

NinjaKitty1928 updated both their books. Reflection got multiple updates, the sequel to Redemption; and Enchanted and Hexed with Clash! A fluffy chapter full of mutual HEX pining and dueling ;)

Tales of Hermitcraft got updated by TheNerdyTurtle96 with a full 5 parter! A mini-series set in their History AU (WW2)! If you do decide to check this out, make sure you heed the warnings!

For all my DSMP hungry fans we have the crossover for you! riptide1982 has a murder mystery crossover fanfic! The hermits are trapped in a mansion and they're getting picked off every day. Who's the murderer(s?) and why? Check it out if you want to know!

Incorrect quote books are still up and running! BlackMors_ just updated theirs with an Etho edition, and Two-WayDoorsBish updated theirs with a musical addition! (It also has hermit lore :O)

We got handed something amazing by xXderpy-merpXx —writing prompts! Check out their Hermitcraft oneshot 3.0 book if you want to get your creative juices flowing!

Rise by --newmoon-- gives us the backstory for the Hermits and it's a very interesting and amazing concept! Consider checking it out! :D

And finally, we have more Bdoc for your soul :)

astriexxe updated their Oneshot book with a very creative tItLe, and it had a fluffy ending :D

And our very own recap member, EminenceGhost, updated their Bdoc book, Kiss With a Fist! It's so well written and has such a good plot I recommend this to all of you <33

Moving on from the amazing books this community produces, let's get to milestones and announcements!

Slothinati has changed their username to Slothinati_eEeeE99! quite a lot of E's you've got there O_o Leave some for the rest of us smh /j

Some sad news now; Deeeerply has discontinued all their works, and YourFriendWillow is likely to stop posting altogether. We'll miss you guys' works! (You can catch YourFriendWillow on their ao3 if you're craving their writing!)

Moving on from those milestones, the Humble Abode is a group of Hermittpadders who've made a shared account! It includes MayaTheWatcher, SockTheWatcher, DakotahWinters, Autumn_Peacockwings, Elder_Helen, WatcherXanthia and SiaFox208! They're writing oneshots by taking turns adding a sentence! This will either be very chaotic or somehow a beautiful masterpiece, no in-between!

And in case you haven't heard, and this is serious, there's a site that takes Wattpad books without consent from the authors and posts them to their website! Please help us take it down by signing the petition within our Linktree! (Can be found within our website tab and in our location.)
