Hello everyone! Sorry for the 2 week break, we really needed that so we could work out a schedule, make new links, and more. We are very thankful that you all have stuck by our sides throughout this all! We appreciate each and every one of you, and we all are working as hard as we can to get the Recap back up!

Also, we would like to mention that Ash (Ash_InTheFlames) has left the recap's arms to bloom into a beautiful butterfly and fly into the night. They were my newbie buddy (this is Smutler speaking) and honestly, I'll miss them. Thank you for the memories Ash!

Now, after all those lovely milestones, we have another lovely announcement that I honestly think states my thoughts on voting pretty well. PotatoSquared_15 posted "it's ridiculous that 90 year olds can vote but 15 year olds can't. like whose future is it boomers it certainly isn't the 90 year olds'" and honestly, the volume in this bus is astronomical.

Also, I have no clue if this is true anymore because it was weeks ago, but according to the bullet points, melppp (idk if that's the correct user) is taking a break from socials! If they are back, :D HI WELCOME BACK WE MISSED YOU.

NoNamedNerd is also going on hiatus from all socials for the time being. See ya when you get back!

Now, first for the books, the user proobablyme published a kerdubs book, and is an EXTREMELY underrated writer, please go give them some love!

Along with the last user, sixth_bright_shiner has a wonderful book called "Coffee and Fairy Lights" that is also extremely underrated and has some lovely shipping! I would 100% recommend checking them out, they seem like a very pog person.

radiant-kitty made an extremely cute oneshot with some really wrecking nice comfort and friendship between Mumbo and the other hermits! I really loved this oneshot, it warmed my soul and made me realize there are still good things in the world other than chocolate. It's called Bonfire Night in their Hermitcraft fics book, go give 'em some love!!

_mochii112_ made a wondrous oneshot named "Waiting" that is currently in their oneshot book. It has angst, fatal injuries, and death, just as a warning. It's about Scar doing Grian's treasure hunt, and it doesn't go all that well. Please go read it and check out the rest of their works of art, I really enjoyed their writing style!

0the0bees0knees0 made an absolutely GORGEOUS redraw of an art piece they made a while back, and it can be found in their book "A Hermitcraft Mess". The piece is called "Twilight Forest Wels" drawing, and I absolutely ADORE their style. The scene looks so nice and peaceful, and I love how Wels looks! The background is absolutely breathtaking, and there is such a nice aura around this piece. Amazing job man! You truly are the bees knees! :D

OhHeyItsVes made an angsty oneshot that I absolutely ADORE, and I bet you all will, too, despite it making you cry your eyes out. It's about dealing with grief and the loss of a loved one, and I absolutely love it. My brain literally can't take how gorgeous this work of writing is.

VintageBee_ makes use of every word in a short but not-so-sweet angsty drabble! Our favorite admin Xisuma overworks himself once again and well... we'll let you read this little drabble for yourself to see how that goes over :eyes:

ItzLarissa delivers on even more angst! With some Scar, EX, and X angst, readers with a craving for angst are sure to be left fulfilled :)

And how about still more X and EX angst? Well we can sure count on Ariyaquila for that! Delivering on the top tier angst as always!!

galacticcheerios has been going strong with the 31 days of fall challenge! They've made it up to Day 30; only one more day to go! Woo you've got this!! :D

QueenChaos48 is back at it again with hurting Bdubs in her oneshots and drabbles. After watching a recent Bdubs video, she wrote a little Scardubs angst drabble which we'd highly recommend checking out

Now, moving through all the lovely books we covered (sorry that there isn't much, I (Smutler) found out the hard way that notifications aren't infinite anymore.

Jazthefox16 asked for people to motivate them to work on their homework last Tuesday, but I'm still going to motivate them. But, you can also use this to motivate yourself.

HEY- hEY- pSSTT- YOU- you have homework right? Well go do it your gorgeous idiot! Once you finish it you will be able to relax fully, you won't have to dread doing homework, you won't have to hide the fact you aren't doing homework, you will feel so much better man. You will be able to do whatever you want freely, and everyone will be so proud of you! (we'll still be proud nonetheless) -smutler

@IceLeaf29 has changed their name to RunningRiver05! A lovely name change, a new name always is nice, it helps ya get refreshed and not get bored! Amazing choice RunningRiver! (now, the real question is, what is the river running from :whatsthisisee:)

Another fun event that we would like to announce, the 2nd WritingChampionships are about to begin!! If you are interested in what this Hermittpad writing even has to offer to you, please do check out the Hermittpad Discord Server (which can be found in our bio), and go to the events channel. It's an extremely fun event and honestly I think many of you would enjoy! The deadline for signups is just around the corner, and the event itself is in just under two weeks so join up fast!
