Doc shifted uncomfortably on the wet wooden seat next to the brunette female while Scar looked like he was dying inside from having to sit still. Trying to both break the silence and stop himself from low-key going crazy, Scar struck up a conversation.

"Hi. I was just wondering, um, what House do you think you'll be in?"

The girl raised an eyebrow curiously and pointed at herself. Scar nodded nervously. Zedaph and Doc listened in quietly.

She turned her body towards the fellow brunette. "I'm honestly not sure, even if I'm supposed to know myself better than anyone else. What about you?"

"I mean, I'm hoping for Gryffindor, but, but who isn't? I'm probably not gonna be in, but that's alright! I'd be okay with any of the Houses, really."

"Even Slytherin?" She tested.

Doc interrupted angrily. "Of course! It's stupid to not want to be there just because there were a few bad people. You don't judge something just from the worst."

The girl looked at Doc with... admiration? Curiosity?

"I like you. The name's Nebula. You guys?"

The blonde, who'd been silent the entire time, spoke up for the first time, tearing his eyes away from the enormous castle. "Zedaph!"

"Doc M."

"I'm Scar!" The extroverted pre-teen shook Nebula's hand energetically.

The four talked the whole ride, only stopping to listen to Hagrid's warnings. Talking about what they knew, what they looked forward to. Someone had to shush them during the Sorting so they could get the full experience. Afterwards, everyone who knew them could agree: Doc and Nebula became inseparable.

Alrighty, what do you guys think? I don't have any idea what I'm doing, and this is mainly a test run, so be honest. I know it's short, but it's supposed to be more of an extra thing. Like, background info and random ideas.
