Once again, Scar found himself faced with a large project. You could tell he was working on something from the many chest monsters lying around. Piles of shulkerboxes filled to the brim with building and terraforming materials, other ones empty and waiting to be filled up with resources that would be gathered from clearing the land.

What would it be this time, though? Some sort of automobile? A large building? Maybe a terraforming job that would give observers look in awe from how it was both impressive and appeared to be something that could be natural.

But today, Scar was lost in thought. He overlooked an area that he had staked out for his project; a mountain biome that would one day house a dragon, a wizard, and other such creatures. But such thoughts of building magical things made him think about, well, building magic. Specifically, how it applied to him.

Everyone on the server knew that he was a vexling, a person who could use Vex magic. It was no secret that of the magic types, it was one of the seemingly unimpressive ones. Vex magic didn't include the psychic abilities of the various types of End magic. It didn't have the creative abilities of Void magic, or the destructive abilities of Infernal magic. Vex magic was simply an enhancer, taking the abilities of the wielder and making it easier to apply them.

But how much of his building prowess could Scar really claim as his own? How much was the Vex magic? He didn't know. And taking credit for the builds he made if they weren't truly his didn't feel right.

That was why this project was so important to him. If he could do this without his "Super Fast Build Mode," He would prove to himself that it wasn't just the Vex magic that made him special. Sure, it would probably take longer, but as long as he would get the same results, that was enough.

He had to prove this to himself. He had to.
