Flowers
Helsknight had very little left to do before he ended the world. He walked downstairs into a large open room where an army of armour stands waited for him. They were under his control after he stole Cleo's power.
Welsknight's voice spoke in his mind. "What do you need these for? Didn't you make a weapon powerful enough to absorbs souls?"
"These are just to make sure the job gets done. I can't take any chances."
"You can't seriously be doing this. You've done enough damage, you don't need to end it all."
"I'm not just ending it." Hels walked over to a workbench. "I'm creating a new universe. I'll be a creator god, when you put it like that you really can't blame me."
There was a gauntlet sitting on the bench made of dark metal. It seemed to have a permanent glow. "And this, this will absorbs everyone's souls and give them to me. Do you know how powerful a soul is? I'm going to have the power of dozens. And most importantly, the power to get rid of you."
"They'll stop you. They're strong. Good always prevails, it has to." Even Wels sounded doubtful of the comment.
"Not always. And sometimes there's no good and bad, sometimes it's just two different sides."
"What? You're saying you're the good guy in all this."
Hels shrugged. "I guess not, but everything ends eventually. I'll create a new world anyway. Just because you guys won't be there doesn't make it a bad world."
"Don't imply that any new world you make would be anything more than a hellscape. You're sadistic."
"I don't have a constant desire to hurt people Wels. I have no problem with people being happy, but I think I'll take some happiness too. I'm not sadistic, but I sure am going to enjoy getting some revenge on the hermits, on you and if he's still out there, especially on Iskall."
"This is our home, we have to stop you."
"You sure can try. But you won't. This world has done nothing but ruin me, I'm going to create a new world perfect for me. I don't think that's such an unreasonable thing to want."
Hels opened a large gate, allowing the armour stands to walk up a set of stairs and out into the open. "Scar should be dead any second now, thus begins the end of this world."

Ren walked back to the village by the sea, Renbob tailing him. The others seemed to be reaching the conclusion to their fight. An injured False got to her feet, only her and the Red King were standing. Alternate Rens lay unconscious on the floor, the two remaining stared each other down.
False spat blood. "You think you can beat me? I'm the queen of heads, hearts and body parts. I don't lose."
The king raised his heavy axe but noticed Ren. He was about to speak when Ren raised his hand and the unconscious Rens began to glow. They seemed to become pure energy as they returned into Ren's mind.
The Red King quickly understood the situation and grabbed False, holding the sharp of his axe to her throat. "Don't even think about it."
Ren took a few more steps. "It's over. You lost."
"No! I won't lose again. It was all going to be so perfect! I was going to be king again, I was going to find my loyal hand and we'd rule this world together."
There was the sound of a door opening and the others stepped out of the house, the kings gaze landed on the person helping Grim stand.
"Martyn?"
Martyn looked confused. "Do I know you?"
The king dropped the axe. "In another life. I'll find a way to get your memories of our reign back. I know it's possible, I'll go after the watchers myself if I have to."
"Yeah, I really don't know what you're on about."
The Red King began to shake as his body started to glow. No more anger, just fear. He turned to Ren. "What gives you the right? Why do you get to exist and not us?"
Ren said nothing.
The king sat down as the glow turned more intense. "Don't you get it? You're a Ren just like us. We don't get to win. Eventually we lose or die, it's how it works." His body turned purely white as he was returned to Ren's mind. They heard the king's distant voice as it happened. "I'm sorry, hand."
Ren walked over to Grim. The reaper held his stomach as black blood stained his cloak. "You ready?" Ren asked.
Grim nodded. "I messed up. I don't know how your new magic works but please, find Stress and return her to normal. I never should have made her a greyskin."
Ren nodded and held his hand as the reaper returned to his mind.
"Alright, we need to get back to the hermits as soon as possible. Before it's too late."
False nodded. "I think I have an idea." She stuck two fingers in her mouth and whistled loudly. After a couple minutes a massive eagle flew over their heads and landed nearby.
They began to climb on the beasts back. Jimmy looked a little nervous. "Uh I'm not great with heights."
Scott chuckled. "Don't worry, I won't let you fall."
Ren climbed on with the rest. "Besides, what we're heading into is a lot more scary than any height."
Jimmy rolled his eyes. "Because that makes me feel so much better." He added sarcastically.
"Don't worry. We've got this."

Evil Xisuma didn't want to move. He wasn't sure he could if he tried. There was a horrible pit in his stomach that made him feel like he was going to be sick. Just because he couldn't kill Scar didn't mean anything was better. It didn't make him a good person and it definitely didn't stop Hels.
He looked up and saw Scar, he didn't move. It didn't matter, nothing did anymore. Scar sat down next to him and didn't talk. The only sound was the wind as it picked up ash into the air, the air thick with a grey haze.
Finally, Scar spoke. "So. This is what the end of the world looks like. It's kind of funny, I always had a feeling it would be your doing."
Evil didn't answer.
"But it's not. You fought with us against Hels until this happened, none of us wanted this. Not you, not me, not Iskall, I don't even know if Hels wants this. I think he's just angry."
Evil Xisuma looked at him and Scar shrugged. "It's not too late, you know. No one blames you for running off with him, I think we all wanted to run. But I didn't, I had the hermits to hold onto. I was able to keep fighting, but you didn't have anyone. I'm sorry we weren't there for you more, I know we treated you like a stranger but you're Xisuma's brother. You're one of us."
Evil finally spoke. "I never wanted this. He's going to destroy it all and it's not going to matter whose side I'm on."
Scar stood up. "We'll stop him." He spoke confidently. "It's what we do. But maybe you're right, maybe it won't matter whose side you're on. But you're a hermit, so fight with us." Scar held out his hand. "Fight for us, for Xisuma."
Evil hesitated but took his hand and let Scar pull him to his feet. "Scar, Hels is coming."
Before he could elaborate, Etho ran over. "Scar! Gem passed out again, I don't know if she's got much longer left."
The three of them ran over to Gem, she lay as a soft bed of grass continued to grow around her.
"What is this?" Evil plucked a flower out of the ground. It was healthy and vibrant.
Etho looked stressed. "Uh, it's her magic. I don't really get it but because of how everything is dead it's trying to automatically grow life around her. It's draining her of her magic and killing her. I don't think her body is capable at handling the amount of magic it's using."
"She can't just get rid of the magic?"
Etho shook his head. "She said it would just be killing someone else, like passing the torch. She can only get rid of her magic by giving it to someone else."
Gem weakly opened her eyes. "I'm not killing someone else to save myself. I'll let the magic die with me."
Evil knelt down. "Let me take it."
"It will kill you."
"Maybe, maybe not. My body is already strong enough to handle the magic of hell, maybe I can handle this."
Scar looked at him. "Why? You could die, you don't owe us anything. Why would you do this for us?"
Evil shrugged. "This wouldn't be the worst way to die, it could leave a better story about me then just Xisuma's evil brother. People would remember that when it mattered, I did something right."
"Are you sure about this?"
Evil nodded.
Scar gave a sweet smile. "You know, for someone known as Evil Xisuma. You aren't very evil."
Gem took Evils hand. "Thank you for this. I really hope you're strong enough."
A soft green glow began to flow from where their hands met. Evil felt the magic flow into him and replace his existing magic. He was suddenly hit with a horrible pain in his gut, like the power was eating away at him. If this was how he was going to die, it definitely was a pretty honourable way to go. Gem would live, maybe he'd see Xisuma again.
But the pain went away and instead he felt healthy. He had survived, maybe he could fix everything. He was filled with a newfound purpose, to bring life back to the world.
Flowers began to grow at his feet.
