Grian was laying on the floor, the reason being that he was tired and too lazy to move to the couch. He heard footsteps and a familiar German voice, "What are you doing on the floor?" Grian rolled his eyes, "What does it look like, Doc?" I'm laying down trying to sleep." Doc sighed, "I can see what you're doing, I mean why are you laying on the floor."

Grian covered his eyes with his arm, "Because the couch is so far away..." He expected Doc to leave it at that but gasped when he felt strong arms pick him up bridal style. The creeper sat down on the couch with Grian on his lap, "There, that better?" The shorter nodded and leaned his head against Doc.

The door opened and someone sat beside the two. Grian turned his head and saw that it was Ren who had joined them. He latest his head on Doc's shoulder and Grian whined when he moved his hand from where it was rubbing circles into his side to wrap it around Ren's waist.

"So boys, are we having a cuddle pile?" Doc shook his head quickly, "No, Grian was just too lazy to lay on the couch so I helped him." The wolf smirked as his tail wagged, "I think we're having a cuddle pile... We should get the others in on this too." And before either of the other two could say anything, Ren had pulled out his communicator and messaged the rest of the hermits.

Within ten minutes, nearly all of the other hermits were there. The ones missing were TFC (who didn't participate in these), Bdubs, Keralis, Biffa, Mumbo, and Xisuma. The hermits were laying together, somehow managing to fit all of them on the couch. After another twenty minutes, Biffa, Mumbo, BdoubleO, and Keralis walked in and quickly got situated with the others.

Most of the hermits were almost asleep but they were all trying to stay awake because they had an unspoken rule to stay awake until everyone was there. Eventually, X arrived looking dead on his feet. He was quickly dragged into the cuddle pile and fell asleep as soon as he got placed between Bdubs and Biffa.

Doc noticed that he was the last one awake, Grian was asleep on his lap while Ren was asleep with his head on Doc's shoulder, lightly snoring and ears occasionally twitching. He kissed the top of Grian's head and rested his head on top of Ren's and fell asleep surrounded by the people that he loves.
