Falling Part-1

A bird flys high in the sky,
                            Flying by.
It's wings are tired as it wonders,
             Are the others over yonder?
A bird flys into the clouds,
             It's wings pound and pound.
                No support from others,
               It's heart starts to flutter.
                     A journey too far,
                 A migration too hard.
A bird flys high in the sky,
                      It's wings stop
                           Beating
A bird falls high in the sky,
                   The ground starts
                           Nearing

Grians's POV:

Falling. That's what he was doing. Falling. They had enough of him, and had finally done what was promised. He was done for, dead. It was all his fault, he shouldn't have crossed the line that they laid so delicately. Air was rushing around him, his wings failing to save him from his inevitable hit to the ground. Grian had given up, tired. His eyes slowly closed, accepting the fate that he had caused. It was over-

Bouncy, soft, weird. That's what he could feel. His wings hurt, everything hurt. Grian opened his eyes to see him on top of a slime. It struggled to get him off as it made distressed gurgling noises. That was lucky, really lucky. He quickly sat up, the slime noticing him awake, struggling even more. How long had be been sitting on top of this slime? He patted the slime softly, who stopped struggling and make a weird noise. Grian had never seen a slime, he read it in books, like most mobs but never seen one. He squished the top of the slime, he liked the mob. Grian decided to stay until it was day since lots of mobs were out, not noticing him. The slime gurgled again, and just sat there, giving up. Just like him. He pushed those thoughts away quickly, he was alive. Maybe, just maybe, he could start over. Grain smiled at that thought, his wings twitching. He laid down and looked at the stars, missing the sky, his home. But they wouldn't want him, he was banished. The smile vanished off his face as he continued to stare at the moon and stars. Where would he go now?
