Conglomeration
I come up with a lot of ideas, but not all of them become fully-fledged stories or turn out how I hoped, so these are the snippets that I liked too much to delete. Enjoy 5000 words of fluff!
"Hey G, wassup?" Ren trotted over time where Grian was sitting in the grass. He was by himself, tucked in a small alcove outside the shopping district. Grian glanced up from his lap, waving brightly to Ren.
"Hey Ren, just sitting around. Care to join me?"
"Of course cutie! Whatcha working on?" Ren plopped down next to Grian, glancing in his lap. In Grian's hands rested an intricate flower crown, filled with countless flowers Ren didn't even know the names of. "Woah..."
Grian smiled bashfully. "You want it? I made it with my love."
"I always want your love Grian." Ren accepted the crown gratefully, setting it on his head. Grian giggled, reaching up to straighten it. Their faces grew close together as Grian leaned over him, fixing his hair. "Dang you look good," Ren uttered breathlessly.
Grian glanced at him, flushing brightly. "Aw, you flatter me! You should see yourself though, you're practically perfect!"
Ren stammered, unsure what to say. He felt his face heat up, something he didn't know was possible. How could Grian say he was perfect, when Grian was clearly the stunning one?
Grian interrupted his stupor with a lilting laugh. "I've never seen you blush before!"
"Oh, really? I guess you really get my heart beating!" Ren smiled stupidly as Grian blushed again. Ren was more comfortable making other people blush than actually doing it himself.
"Wait, really? Do you mean that?"
Ren paused and thought for a moment. He always complimented hermits, regardless of who it was, but this felt different somehow. He could never come up with the right words to describe Grian, and his stomach was in knots whenever he was around him. Is this was real love feels like? "I just... I don't have the right words to express how I feel about you."
"Well then what are you trying to say?"
"I..."
Ren gazed into Grian's eyes, marveling at the way they glowed in the evening sun. Slowly, he placed a gentle kiss on Grian's cheek, who grinned and returned the kiss. Ren found himself curled up in Grian's lap, playing with the loose threads on Grian's jeans while Grian ran his fingers through his hair. They stayed like that for hours, enjoying the evening until the sun creeped behind the horizon.
—Keralis x Bdubs—
Cheers rang through the valley, but they didn't shatter the peaceful air of the warm winter evening. The sun had already fallen behind the hills, and small lanterns lit the valley like fireflies. Patches of snow hid in shadowy corners, but the evening was mild for December. Picnic tables were scattered throughout the glade, snacks and drinks readily available depending on what you were looking for. Lawn games were set up to the side, several hermits breaking off from the main group to play them. It was a picture-perfect evening.
"Oooo Keralis! Look above you!" Zedaph cooed, waggling a finger at him as he walked past.
Freezing in place, Keralis gave him a confused stare. Zed motioned upwards, so Keralis curiously glanced up. Giggling, he spotted Tango balancing on a table in order to dangle a sprig of mistletoe over his head with a fishing rod. "Ah, hello Tango! Why are you fishing for plants?"
This made the pair snicker loudly, catching the attention of some nearby hermits. "It's mistletoe Keralis! If you walk under mistletoe with someone you have to kiss them!"
Keralis frowned thoughtfully. "But there's no one under the mistletoe with me. Who am I supposed to kiss?"
"Hey Ker, wassup?" Bdubs threw an arm around Keralis, holding a plastic cup loosely. Everyone watching the scene play out erupted into laughter, much to Bdubs' confusion. "What's the joke?"
"Bubbles, there's mistletoe! I just learned about it!" Keralis pointed to the plant proudly.
With a glance up, Bdubs paled. "Oh, would ya look at that..." He gripped his cup tightly, his face tense but emotionless.
"That means you have to kiss!" Tango cheered from atop the table.
Keralis nudged Bdubs, carefully examining his face. "Bubbles, we have to kiss now."
Bdubs lowered his gaze from the mistletoe to Keralis' face. He remained mostly expressionless, though a light blush spread across his cheeks.
Keralis glanced around at the audience they had gathered. "Bubbles, are you okay? We don't have to kiss if you don't want to..." Keralis rubbed Bdubs' back comfortingly.
Bdubs vaguely nodded, and Keralis instantly swept him away from the crowd. Once they were outside of the glow of the lanterns, Keralis slowed his walk, glancing at Bdubs again. "Are you feeling better?"
Bdubs shrugged half heartedly. "Yeah, sorry about that. I dunno what got into me."
"It's okay if you don't want to kiss me, even if you do have a beautiful face that is perfectly kissable," Keralis nodded knowingly, which only made Bdubs more tense.
He shot down the last of the contents of his cup, coughing lightly. "I think Ren already spiked the eggnog," He changed the subject.
"That fast?" Keralis laughed. The pair continued to walk and talk for some time, avoiding other hermits if they passed by. Bdubs relaxed slowly, and the pair finally returned to the lighted tables to grab more snacks. The moon was reaching its peak in the sky, and the party was just kicking up.
Thanks to all the drinks being spiked before the party started, everyone was some level of tipsy. Certain hermits were completely drunk already; whether it was on purpose or not was debatable. Iskall and Ren, knowing that it was spiked, competed to see how much they could chug, and were wasted instantly, while others like Xisuma and Stress had enjoyed one too many cups of punch before realizing they were drunk as well.
Loud music blared from Doc's jukebox and everyone was chatting and laughing loudly. Bdubs, his senses buzzing from the one cup he had, immediately dragged Keralis to the punch bowl for another glass. Keralis resisted with a whine. "Bubbles, you know the drinks are spiked!"
"Yeah, but if ya can't beat em, join em, right?" Bdubs took a long swig from his cup before Keralis pried it out of his hand.
"Bubbles, I like you better sober."
Something about the statement cut Bdubs to the core, and he regarded Keralis gently for a moment. Without a word, the pair grabbed the bowls of punch and eggnog and began dumping it in the grass.
"Hey, woah, cool it!" Ren stumbled over, attempting to grab the juice as it poured from the bowl. Once the last of it was lost in the grass, Ren stared at them with dripping hands, frowning. "What the heck man, I was thirsty!"
"Let's turn on a movie before things get out of hand, does that sound good?" Bdubs offered.
Ren perked up immediately, licking the last of the punch off his fingers. "Yeah, movie cuddles!"
Quickly, the entire party shifted indoors. All still under the influence, a cheesy romantic Christmas movie was chosen, and the room was filled with snuggly hermits. Most of them, like Ren, Stress, Grian, and others, found large blankets and cuddled up close to their friends, while some, namely Doc and Iskall, had become very angsty and refused to sit on the couch with the others.
Keralis and Bdubs found themselves sharing a blanket in the corner of the room, still part of the group but off to the side since there was no more room on the couch.
"Good thinking with the movie Bubbles," Keralis whispered happily.
Bdubs threw an arm around Keralis' shoulder, pulling him closer. "This is what I've been looking forward to all night."
"What happened earlier with the mistletoe, sweet face? That doesn't normally bother you." Keralis twisted around to look at Bdubs with a concerned pout.
"Ah ha, yeah, I dunno," He flushed awkwardly. "I was feeling weird from the punch, and the idea of kissing you was something I'd never thought about I guess."
"Well, I'll take that kiss whenever you're up to it." Keralis smiled gently.
That was something Bdubs never truly understood about Keralis. He knew there was no way Keralis could be into him romantically, not compared to all the other incredible people on the server, but it didn't stop Bdubs from admiring Keralis. He was so comfortable around his friends, and Bdubs wanted to be the same way; just purely happy, and able to tell his friends how much he cared about them. But then again, Bdubs never felt this way about any of the other hermits. He loved all his friends equally, but only Keralis was deserving of his friendship kisses. That was normal, right?
Of course not, the realization sent shivers up his spine. If he wanted to give hugs and kisses to everyone it would be normal, but this? This was definitely more than that.
Bdubs pecked Keralis on the cheek in a flash of bravery, his face burning instantly. Keralis' lit up, turning so their faces were mere inches apart. "Aw, Bubbles, you did it!"
"And I think I meant it." Bdubs realized it was probably an awkward thing to say if Keralis didn't feel the same way, but in the moment he couldn't seem to care; the eggnog must have still been in his blood.
Keralis smiled slyly, not saying anything in return. Instead, he simply leaned in and kissed Bdubs on the lips. He went in for a peck, but they both melted into it quickly and happily. Bdubs noted that they had become the typical couple making out in the corner during a movie, but he couldn't bring himself to care.
—Gri x Mumbo—
"Hey Grian!" Mumbo laughed as Grian attempted to tame his wild hair. He didn't take care of it too well, and the constant flying left it in tangles more often than not.
"Hey Mumbo! Whatcha working on? Ow-" Grian scowled, attempting to tug his fingers from his hair.
Mumbo hid his grin behind a hand. "Need some help there?"
"Nah, it's fine," He growled, yanking them free.
"Here, I've got a brush right over here, let me help." Mumbo quickly, but gently, brushed through Grian's hair, taming the wild frizz. "Alright, turn around?"
Grian spun around, throwing his hair into his eyes. Mumbo brushed it aside, fussing with his hair for a moment until it all sat down nicely on his head. "There we go! Handsome as always!"
Grian grinned, kicking the ground. "Aww, not as handsome as you!" Grian ran a hand through Mumbo's hair, smiling even wider as the oil allowed the hair to stand in whatever way Grian pulled it. He flattened it all out, having a good laugh when it fell past Mumbo's eyes. He pulled it all to one side, lamenting the lack of eyeliner that would really pull the look together. At some point the pair sat down, Grian idly fiddling with Mumbo's hair and mustache as Mumbo sketched some ideas in his notebook.
—Pix X Zloy—
"Hey Pix, how's this look?" Zloy yawned quietly as Pix slowly shuffled over to the computer. He slumped over, resting his chin on Zloy's head.
"Looks great man. I'm proud of you for finishing this, I could never do it without you."
—Iskall x Ren—
Lightning struck the weather vane on iTrade, making Ren yelp. He hid in the Cherry Store, shuddering as the thunder shook the ground under his feet. He wasn't technically a dog, but somewhere along the line he'd conditioned himself to act like one so well that he had developed a fear of thunder storms.
A shadowy hermit flew by, and Ren tried to catch their attention, but the words got choked up in his throat. He hadn't been caught away from home during a storm in a long time.
Minutes turned into hours. The hermits tended to hole up during storms, and Ren had only seen two people so far. He thought maybe sitting in the rain for so long would help him confront his fear, but it only got worse.
Ren shivered from the cold and nerves, practically convulsing in the corner. His fingernails dug into his upper arms, and his feet danced anxiously. His skull buzzed, the anxiety increasing the volume tenfold. The rain pattering on the ground, the thunder in the distance, water trickling down the dirt paths, it was unbearably loud in his ears.
"Ren! What's wrong?" Iskall's shouting could barely be heard over the cacophony. Ren glanced up, his vision shaking.
Iskall dropped to his knees, wrapping his arms around Ren tightly. They sat in silence for a long time, huddled in the corner of the Cherry Store. Ren tried to speak a couple times, but couldn't seem to reach around the wall of sound trapping him. Slowly, the rain eased up, and the thundering stopped. Rain dripped from the eaves of buildings, but it was small enough that Ren could finally think again.
"...sorry Iskall."
Iskall sat up, an angry and concerned look on his face. "Sorry about what? That you had a breakdown by yourself? I'm just glad I found you!" Iskall hugged him again.
"I'm sorry that I'm afraid of such silly things. I need to be more careful, and watch the weather patterns," he scolded himself.
"It's not your fault. Everyone deals with this kinda stuff!" Iskall chuckled as Ren glanced up. "I'm afraid of birds. Ever wonder why I burn diorite?" That made Ren laugh softly, making Iskall grin. "You have a nice laugh."
"No, you," Ren teased.
"I bet you have nice lips if ya know what I'm sayin," Iskall winked cheekily.
Ren grinned. "That's what she said."
"No, that's what I said. Wanna find out if it's true?"
Iskall leaned in, and they kissed softly. "I was right," he whispered with a wink.
—College au—
"Truth or dare?"
"Really Grian? How old are you?" Iskall teased. Grian, Iskall, Mumbo and Python were all curled up in their homemade fort, awake far past their bed time.
"Cmon, let's have some fun!"
"Fine, dare!"
Grian fell silent. "I'm bad at coming up with dares..."
"Oh! I've got one!" Mumbo rolled over and whispered something in Grian's ear, making him giggle.
"No you dork, that's a terrible dare! But, that does give me an idea. Iskall, I dare you to spoon Mumbo for the next round!"
Mumbo jumped in his sleeping bag. "What! Traitor!"
"It's a dare, cmere Mumbo." Iskall crawled over Grian, wrapping around Mumbo, though Mumbo was far taller than Iskall. Grian had always called it backpacking when the smaller person was the big spoon, and the image never failed to make him giggle.
"Alright Python, truth or dare?" Iskall asked.
"Uh, truth?"
"What's the most physical you've ever gotten on a date?"
"Ah, well, I haven't been on that many dates yet, but there's this one girl..."
"Ooh, story time!" Grian sat up, wrapping his blanket around his shoulders.
Python laughed nervously. "It's really nothing special. Me and this girl have been on a few dates, and there may have been some hand-holding at the movie and a kiss at the doorstep."
"Aww, it's like a dream!" Iskall cooed.
"Don't talk like that when you're so close to me," Mumbo mumbled.
"Aw, then how about I talk like this?" Iskall whispered in Mumbo's ear, making him jump.
"Stop, harassment!" Mumbo squirmed to escape Iskall's grasp, but Iskall held tight.
"A dare's a dare, Mumbo, hold still."
Python giggled. "Mumbo, truth or dare?"
"Dare, so I can escape this death trap."
"I dare you to.... smell Grian's feet!"
"What?! Now that's just mean!"
"Look, I can even put my foot in your face so you don't have to get up!" Grian yanked a sock off, wiggling his toes in Mumbo's face.
"This is heck! This is heck on earth!" Mumbo cried.
"Wow, potty mouth over here," Iskall teased.
Mumbo groaned. "Let's move on! Grian, truth or dare?"
"Truth!"
"Perfect. Grian, if you had to kiss anyone in this room, who would it be?"
Mumbo chuckled as Grian groaned. "How stereotypical can you get!"
"Just answer it!"
"Fiine... Iskall..." Grian mumbled.
"Ooo why? I thought you liked Mumbo!" Iskall grinned widely.
"Wait, Grian likes me?"
"Shut up Iskall! I'd kiss you 'cause you seem like a good kisser, next question." Grian folded his arms.
"I dare you to kiss him!" Python piped up.
"What!? I'm not going to kiss Iskall! Besides, I just did a truth!"
"This one's not for the game, this one's for the twenty bucks in my wallet," Python hinted.
Grian glanced at Iskall flushing, but nodded slowly. "Twenty bucks?"
"I get twenty bucks too, right?" Iskall laughed. "I'm half of the kiss!"
"Fine, fine. Do it!"
Iskall crawled over to Grian, who was bright red. There was just enough light in their tent to see him quivering slightly.
"This isn't your first kiss, right?" Iskall asked.
"Not my first, no." Grian swallowed thickly.
"Second, huh? Better make it good."
Iskall sat in Grian's lap, wrapping his legs around him. Iskall ran one hand through Grian's hair, and ran one down his jaw, drawing their faces close together. Iskall smirked, and Grian smiled weakly, his breathing uneven. Iskall kissed him sweetly, running his fingers through his hair as he did. They slowly pulled apart, and Grian gaped silently.
"Dang. That was worth the forty bucks." Python nodded with a huge grin.
"Hmm, what was that Mumbo?" Iskall cheekily nudged him, and he covered his face with a pillow.
"Ahmaffafiffeean..." he mumbled into the pillow.
"What?" Python leaned in with a grin.
"I dare you to say it!" Grian threw in with a laugh.
Mumbo threw the pillow off, revealing his bright red face. "I wanna kiss Grian too, okay?"
Python and Iskall exploded into laughter, while Grian fell silent. The two watched in awe as Grian crawled over to Mumbo, lying down next to him. They stared at each other, before kissing gently. Iskall and Python cheered loudly, and Grian giggled softly.
The rest of the evening, Mumbo spooned Grian, and Python was talked into being Iskall's baby spoon. They fell asleep like that.
—Ren x Iskall—
"Ren, fetch my phone from the bedroom?" Iskall asked sweetly.
"Of course!" Ren hopped up, returning with the phone quickly. "Here!"
"Thanks bud." Iskall absentmindedly scratched Ren's ear, causing Ren to melt into Iskall's lap. They sat this way for some time before Iskall grew tired of rubbing, sending Ren out of his trance.
"Wait, did you just-?" Ren blushed, attempting to stand up.
Iskall held Ren's waist as he put away his phone. "Sorry about that, I'll keep going."
"No, hold on! Are you petting me like a dog?" Ren protested, fighting against Iskall's steel grip.
"Just relax, you're hurting my legs." Iskall began scratching Ren's ear again, and he promptly relaxed. "See, isn't this nice?"
Ren nodded, sighing. Iskall continued to pet Ren, who curled up in Iskall's lap happily. Every so often he'd let out a content purr.
—Doc x Ren—
"Good morning angel," Ren murmured, snuggling up against Doc's chest.
Doc sighed, waking up slowly. "Morning babe."
"Sleep well?"
"It's always nice when I'm with you," he purred. "Just cold toes, yknow." They both chuckled at Doc's toes, which stuck a couple inches past the end of the bed.
"Yeah, sorry I didn't make my bed with a seven foot tall creeper man in mind," Ren smirked.
"Yeah yeah. We're using my bed tomorrow."
Ren flipped over, tucking his head into Doc's chest. "I love you just the way you are. You know that, right?"
"...of course."
Ren felt Doc's breathing falter. He glanced up and spotted a tear rolling down his cheek. "Hey, angel, what's wrong?" He stroked Doc's face lightly.
Doc sniffled, regaining composure. "I just really appreciate you. You always know exactly what I need to hear."
Ren just smiled. "Well what kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't?"
—Iskall x Mumbo—
"Mumbo, meet the newest member of our server, Iskall!" Xisuma gestured to the new hermit grandly.
"Hello! You're Mumbo, right? That's so cool, it's great to meet you finally!" Iskall reached out his hand in greeting.
In a stupor, Mumbo took his hand and kissed it gently, smiling stupidly into Iskall's eye. "Welcome, my visage of beauty. May I take you on a tour of my home?"
"Well, I don't see why not!" Iskall giggled as Mumbo led him, arm in arm. "Do you greet all your new hermits this way?"
"Only the absolutely angelic ones."
—Ren x Mumbo—
"Fancy meeting you here," Ren snickered as he sat down next to Mumbo, dangling his feet over the ledge. "I guess my secret getaway isn't so secret!"
Mumbo chuckled. "I suppose so! I typically come in the evening, so I've never seen you!"
"Yeah, I'm more of an early bird. What brings you here at this hour?"
"Meh, haven't been sleeping well. With Grian occupied in Hermitville, it's been strangely quiet at the base." Mumbo shrugged.
"Just call me and I'll be there baby." Ren slid over and wrapped his arm around Mumbo's waist.
"Ah, thank you Ren." Mumbo mumbled, melting into Ren's touch.
"Anything for you."
—Grian x Mumbo—
"Mumbo, hide me!" Grian screeched as he crashed into the base.
Mumbo jumped up, attempting to pull on his coat but failing. "What's going on, Gri?"
"No time!" He grabbed Mumbo's hand and bolted down to the mostly abandoned basement, tucking into the afk room and throwing down tons of blocks to cover the door. He sighed as the darkness set in around them. "He won't find me here!"
"Who?"
"Oh, Scar was chasing me down after I extended my house again." He giggled.
"Of course. Well, this isn't exactly how I expected to spend my afternoon." Mumbo laughed nervously. "Can we open up a couple more blocks of space?"
"No. I'm not taking any chances." Grian shook his head determinedly.
"How long do you expect us to stand in this four block space?" Mumbo flicked the lever in his pocket anxiously. It was nearly pitch black, and the walls felt like they were collapsing on Mumbo.
"Not too long, there's no way he can find us here."
"Find you here," Mumbo clarified.
"You're hands are a lot bigger than mine," Grian commented, changing the subject. He held up their hands and spread their fingers, proving that Mumbo's fingers were indeed much longer than Grian's.
"It's all the redstone, I need delicate fingers I suppose."
"You're really tall, too." Grian stepped closer, demonstrating the height difference as he stared up into Mumbo's bright eyes. "We're pretty opposite, huh?"
"I suppose so, but that doesn't mean anything. Opposites attract and such."
"That's for relationships, Mumbo." Grian giggled.
"Well, isn't this a relationship?"
Even in the darkness, Mumbo noticed Grian's blush. "Well, yes, but don't phrase it like that, you spoon!"
"What? It's true!"
"Shut up." Grian hugged Mumbo tightly, startling him. Mumbo returned the hug, but didn't let go when Grian tried to pull away. "What are you doing?" He giggled.
"Shhhhhh-" Mumbo covered Grian's mouth with his hand. The silence was deafening, but footsteps could faintly be heard. The pair waited with baited breath as the footsteps grew close, there was a sound of a block breaking, and then the footsteps trailed away. They waited another few minutes to be sure they were safe.
"That was close," Mumbo whispered.
Grian stared up at him with wide eyes, mouth still covered by his hand.
"Ah! Sorry! But, thank you for not licking my hand this time."
"Anyway, as I was saying... What are we Mumbo?" He asked honestly. "We've been best friends for years. We're a lot closer than you and Iskall, even though you've been friends for longer. What do you think about me?"
"I- Now, well- I suppose-" Mumbo flushed brightly, suddenly noticing Grian's soft breath on his neck. "I'm not sure how to describe how I feel, I mean-"
"It's okay. I'll be honest if you'll be honest? I... I really like you Mumbo. Like a lot." Grian murmured. "I want you to hold me, and I want to see everyone's jealous looks when they see how happy we are together. I want to build a home together that no one else knows about. I want to spend all my time with you."
"I... I want to sit with you and watch the sunset, maybe hold hands, too. I want to learn from you, because you're an incredible person. I want to cook breakfast in bed for you, because you're a really good cook and I want to learn to cook for you. I want to curl up by the fire with you after a snowy day. I can't imagine my life without you, Grian." Mumbo giggled softly. "It's so strange saying that out loud, it sounds a little creepy."
"Not at all, because I imagine the same things. I also imagine that if we were ever in a dark, enclosed area, we could kiss, and hold each other, and nobody would know." Grian hinted, stepping on Mumbo's feet so they shared one block.
"That sounds like a dream," Mumbo breathed, gazing into Grian's eyes.
Neither made the first move. They both leaned in slowly, kissing slowly and softly. Mumbo smiled into the kiss, making Grian laugh softly. They pulled away, both blushing and smiling stupidly.
"Your mustache tickles."
Mumbo laughed and kissed Grian on the forehead. "I've always wanted to do that."
"You're so pure, Mumby."
—Spin the bottle—
"Spin the bottle! Spin the bottle!" Impulse started the chant.
"Fine, shut up!" Doc growled as he snatched the empty bottle.
The afternoon picnic had lasted long into the evening, leading to unexpected potion dealing and drunk hermits. Even typically sober hermits had loosened up throughout the evening, and by midnight everyone was tipsy, leading to a game of spin the bottle.
Doc spun the bottle on the table, everyone watching closely as the mouth pointed straight to Grian. Cheers and cries of surprise rang out as Grian blushed and grinned.
"C'mere new kid." Doc stalked around the table and dragged Grian to his feet. He kissed him roughly, holding for a solid 10 seconds before returning to his seat.
"So, was there any tongue? Is he good?" Ren elbowed him cheekily.
Doc looked away, scowling. "None of your business."
"Doc's amazing!" Grian shouted.
"The kid has no filter when he's drunk." Doc shook his head as everyone laughed. "Why don't you go, Ren?"
"You think I'm scared? The Ren Diggity Dog is the best kisser around!" He spun the bottle, everyone leaning in as it rattled to a stop in front of Mumbo, who was red as a tomato. "Get over here Mumbo!"
Mumbo stumbled over, squeaking as Ren pulled him into his lap. "I don't think I can do this!"
"Don't worry, I'll take it easy on ya." Ren winked.
He leaned in and kissed Mumbo softly. Suddenly Cleo grabbed both their heads, holding them together tightly. "Do it like a man!"
Ren's eyes widened, then narrowed into a sly grin. Mumbo's eyes were full of terror as he pulled at Cleo's hand. He finally busted free, falling to the floor and dragging himself into his seat.
"That was my first kiss," He whispered.
The cries from the hermits were interrupted by Grian's cutting voice. "No it's not!"
The group exploded into laugher and Mumbo sank in his seat. "You guys are the worst! Cleo, you go!"
"You think I'm scared?" She challenged. Cleo threw the bottle onto the table too excitedly, shattering it. Bashfully, she wiped the glass aside and pulled out a full bottle. She downed the potion and spun the empty bottle in one fluid motion. "Stress!"
Stress jumped, flushing instantly. She locked eyes as Cleo sauntered over to her. Cleo paused an inch in front of Stress' face, making the entire group lean in with anticipation.
"You're really pretty," Stress whispered.
Cleo closed the gap, and it was obvious that they both enjoyed it. Cleo winked as she returned to her seat. "Call me," She mouthed.
"I wanna see Zed kiss someone!" Stress laughed, trying to shift the focus off her and Cleo.
Silently, Zed spun the bottle. It landed on Tango, who laughed nervously. "You don't have to if you don't wanna Zed, it's fine-"
Zed quickly leaned over and kissed Tango, leaning in as Tango melted into the kiss. Impulse cheered from across the table, and everyone laughed as Tango's pointy ears went red.
Zed pulled away with a stupid grin. "I've always wanted to do that."
Tango laughed nervously, but smiled. "Well then. Maybe we should do it more often." The cheers were deafening, especially from Impulse, who was jumping around.
"Hey Cub, I think it's about time for a member of the Convex to spin!" Zedaph hinted.
"Oh yeah, Scar, you go!"
Scar jumped at his name. "Me? What about you?"
"I can't, I've got a condition!" Cub folded his arms.
"What condition? I'm the one with the condition!"
"I'm a bit of a germaphobe, okay? Just go already!"
Scar sulked over to the table, and spun the bottle weakly, landing on Xisuma. "I can't kiss an admin!"
X's expression was obscured by his helmet, but his armor rattled as he made his way over to Scar, revealing his fear.
"Aw, X, is this your first kiss?" Ren crooned.
"None of your business." X's voice wavered.
The two stood in front of each other, neither wanting to make the first move.
"The faster you go the easier it is!" Mumbo encouraged.
"You're one to talk, Mumbo," Cub commented.
"Yeah, well you're one to talk!" Mumbo rolled his eyes.
"I haven't seen your face in a while. You know your eyes are stunning, right?" Scar's quiet voice silenced the crowd.
Scar gripped Xisuma's helmet, pulling it off slowly. He smiled softly as X's face was revealed, whose cheeks and nose were pink. Scar took X by the waist, pulling within an inch. He felt Xisuma's uneven breath and smiled comfortingly.
They kissed sweetly, X melting into Scar's grip. They only pulled away when Scar realized how many people were watching them. "Ehehe... Who's next?"
"No no, let's talk about what just happened there!" Cub demanded.
"Nothing to talk about, next!" Scar laughed nervously.
"Your still holding him! Get a room!" Iskall called.
X and Scar shared a look.
"You're not serious?!"
Scar looked Iskall in the eye, pulled X closer, and kissed him again. Xisuma pulled away with a gasp and a smile. "Time for bed everyone, show's over! And Scar? Come with me..."
The first few chapters will be familiar for those of y'all who read them on my other book, but new content will come soon!
Love you, my little stars!
