Headcanons (please keep in mind i have literally no clue who this man is):

-doesn't speak much and when he does it's usually a witty/sarcastic remark

-knows sign language just so he can swear at people without them knowing

-Attack On Titan swordskills

-gives me Mean Girls vibes and i have no fucking clue why (maybe because he seems like he'd run up and vibecheck from behind for no reason??)

-albino but got the space-like black eye (as in, his iris is black not a literal black-eye) because of void magic

-fucking weeb-

-black nail polish, fight me

AU: some kind of assassin or spy AU maybe?? idk i just like the idea of him vibechecking the fuck out of everyone on the damn server (all while naruto-running)

-not a headcanon but this season he's giving me a lot of potential for evil Mumbo 👀

-Etho copes by trying to stay away from caves and tries as hard as he can to never go in dark places unless he's with someone (besides Scar or Cub); claustrophobic and can easily get panic attacks from small enclosed spaces; definitely still has nightmares about the monster and is very afraid of Scar, even though he tries to pass it off as if he's not since he's a bit prideful; honestly him and Keralis would get along well since both are afraid of Scar because of what he did to him (i never realized how much of a bad guy i could make Scar 👀)

no clue what category this was part of but i guess i can describe a bit of this idea:

-it's at the start of the Civil War that Grian and Zed ever have their first proper conversation, when Tango invites Grian to discuss plans for robbing the bank (ignore the fact that in canon Grian technically invited Tango over -.-')

-Tango leaves to get something, leaving Grian and Zed alone for a bit

-they have the most awkward talk ever that's basically just "so how's your day been" "oh uh, ok... yours?" "um fine, it's been fine"

-Zed then says "i like your wings" and instinctively adds "they remind me of an old friend's"

-Grian freezes on the spot, panicking out of his mind, and hesitantly says "th-thanks. uh, who was your old friend?" to which Zed also freezes and stutters out some half-formed sentences and Grian tries to apologize and Zed's like "nonnnonnoonoo it's fine i swear" and it's just a mess

-then Tango comes back in, blissfully unaware of the shit that just went down, and Zed quickly excuses himself to the bathroom

this is pretty relevant considering the fact COVID-19 is going around: Stress pops out to me as someone who'd be germaphobic and she probably constantly carries around one of those small hand sanitizers things that everyone in kindergarten had; Iskall gets pretty sick and since Mumbo and Grian are little jungle-fever crazy, he seeks out Stress for some help; Stress gets the surgical mask and gloves and helps him while also keeping like a good 5-feet away from him and runs whenever he coughs or sneezes

my brains wants to say furry AU but im going to be serious and say monster AU: Ren's a werewolf, a fairly common type of monster, and is basically shunned from normal society; he's outcasted from a young age (10) and gets chased into the woods where he meets a ton of other monsters who are all about his age or younger, with the youngest being a vampire (Mumbo) and witch (Zed); Ren brings them all together and, despite their differences, they all barely manage to survive even with the threat of predators and humans; Ren instinctively takes the role of den-mother and cares for Mumbo and Zed and is always supervising them (even if someone like Zed or Impulse are playing with them)

i really want to expand on this AU because it seems really freaking cute ;-; (also it was surprisingly hard to think of an AU based around Ren?? other than a Robin Hood AU but i couldn't really say much other than he's Robin Hood and constantly fucks with ConVex and Jevin???)

(this was clarified as a headcanon btw) uh so i guess some headcanons for if this happened?? i feel as though i should have made my requesting thing clearer when writing it my fault sorry guys -.-' right headcanons:

-people like Zed and Keralis are instantly curious and kinda poking at them and examining them

-Cub and Scar are whispering to each other and lowkey taking notes because they're like "should we experiment on him or nah?"

-Zed and Keralis' bfs are scolding them and trying to distract them (unless you're Tango and just asking Zed what he's been noticing and taking furious mental notes)

-Mumbo's just blue-screen error error please restart and Iskall's laughing his ass off at Mumbo but also mildly concerned when he shakes Mumbo and he does nothing to react

-X and Doc are honestly not concerned (since X is the admin and this isn't the strangest thing he's seen, and Doc because just fucking look at his skin) meanwhile Ren's like nervously laughing and trying desperately not to blue-screen

-assuming EX is here he's also not too bothered since this isn't the weirdest thing (again, look at Doc) but he is rather suspicious

-Joe's honestly not bothered and just chatting normally with X, catching up and whatnot

-Stress' curious about the wings, asking about them, False and Cleo aren't very bothered though and just chatting (altho False definitely threatens Grian like "try anything and i'll be trying my new sword on you")

-Hypno seems like the kinda person to chat normally with probably xB cuz i dont think he'd be that interested, but Hypno's just occasionally glancing back at Grian like "what's that kid up to?"

-Beef and Etho are probably too busy catching up with Doc to really notice motherfucking bird man over here

let's do all of them!

Ren:

-lotta nervous energy that he gets out mainly through talking and pacing around/fidgeting

-he won't melt at things like gifts or stuff but he absolutely dies at compliments and becomes a blushing mess (also his tail poofs up) and you know Doc and Iskall use this to their advantage always

-arguing with Ren? compliments. Doing favors for Ren? compliments. Ren's literally just fucking talking? compliments.

-has the patience of a saint and will listen to any of your troubles and wash them away (usually with music)

Doc and BDubs (when they're together is what im asumming you asked??):

-act like an old married couple i swear to god

-constantly arguing and always on the verge of straight up murdering each other

-Doc using his electricity-creeper-shield blast radius thingy at random times just to scare the fuck out of BDubs

-BDubs (seeing as he doesn't have any powers) probs just like chucks a bee at Doc as defense

-begrudgingly joined forces to exploit Keralis' gambling addiction

ooooohh do i have a fun one for Doc: maid cafe AU from Doc's perspective (yes he's a maid) and like half the hermits are customers and he just dies from embarrassment but he's lowkey broke and needs money also yes Ren and BDubs are both customers and yes they both playfully harass him and Grian's also a maid and harasses him as well and just hhhhhhh-

i guess this is in the headcanons category????: aight so he gets even more anxiety about having to hide yet another secret and ends up secretly having a meltdown at his base when he's alone and his wings curl in on himself as an instinct to "protect" himself and crying and tears and screaming at himself and whoooo angst

ok because im too lazy to write one-shots to explain these im just going to put them here alright, alright:

-Keralis is a hybrid because of coming into S6 via the infinity portal which fucked up his player code and now he's a different kind of hybrid on every server; what hybrid is he? a shark hybrid (there is literally no reason behind this other than i want shark Keralis); he's got pointy teeth and fins in his arms and gills and pointy fishy ears; can hold his breath for a much longer time; his feet and hands are webbed so he can swim faster; water breathing potions affect him different because he also receives a shark tail that replaces his legs; his tongue hurts because he keeps accidentally biting it ;-;

-EX got all fucked up by the void why? why not; ok no but actually it's because the void didn't think he had a good enough reason to ask it a favor so he was punished in return for going to S7; he came to S6 with no repercussions because his reason was "i want to prove myself a good person" which the void thought was a valid reason rather than "i want to be with my friends"; EX now has shadowy hands that coming from his back that he can summon and the black void-like eye that he can no longer see out of; anytime he goes near the jungle it attacks him so he's basically unable to enter unless one of the jungle hermits comes to help him; used to be sheltering with Joe but was given to BDubs who also has some jungle trauma

answering all of these gives me new perspectives on who to make villains: Area 77 Scar or Feral Jungle Mumbo 👀 ya'll are lucky i have to write an essay rn instead of ruining all the hermit's mental health-
