The Coming Part 1

(Grian' POV)

"FLY, GRIAN AND XEL! FLY! IT'S NOT SAFE HERE ANYMORE!", Da screamed in bird form.

Xel and Grian looked at Da in despair.

"W-where do we go?", Xel asked while trembling, just like Grian.

Da, King of the Phoenix, put a wing on their shoulders. "Go west. There will be an island. It's nature spirits have sent us an invitation to it if something were to ever happen.", he said.

An explosion destroyed the roof

Xel nodded with obvious hesitance.

"Here!", Da said while passing them some shirts. "Wear this when you get there. And never show your wings. And remember these words that Mum prophesied: Raging fire, stormy seas. A great evil cause many to flee. Twenty two souls must join the fight, unless they all fall back into the plight. Prince of Phoenix, hold back your fears. The evil is coming. Ready your feet."

Grian took them and gulped.

"I don't want to leave you and Mum, Da!", he cried.

Da looked at him with his intelligent bird eyes.

"I know. I know. Just fly! I'm afraid our cloud haven will be destroyed!"

"N-no!", Xel and Grian whimpered.

"Now!", Da snapped. "Fly! Our defenses will be breached any moment!"

Xel nodded quickly, and snatched Grian with him as he activated his wings and flew off.

"AFTER THEM!", shouted a cruel voice.

As they made their escape, Grian passed out in fear.

(Joe's POV)

Joe hummed happily as he pet a bunny.

"JOE!", yelled an urgent voice.

The Future Speaker from town ran towards him in her dark blue dress and long black hair.

"Skye?", he inquired as he let the bunny go.

Skye sat next to him on a log.

"Joe. I've had an urgent vision that's only for your eyes and ears alone."

"Me? But ah'm just a lumberjack!"

"Why am I so important?", Joe mentally added.

Skye grit her teeth.

"You, my big hearted friend, will be in more danger than anyone else in this town if you don't run.", she said with obvious hesitance.

"Wh-what do you mean?"

Skye's eyes turned pitch white as they usually do when she sees the future.

"I see destruction of out town. I see great evil. You must remember my words: Raging fire, stormy seas. A great evil cause many to flee. Twenty two souls must join the fight, lest' they fall back in the plight. Lumberjack, heal the rips. The evil is coming. Ready your feet."

Skye's eyes turned back a normal color.

Joe stared at her.

"But.. what about you? And where do ah go?"

Skye looked sadly at him. "I'll hold on. And as for where you go?"

Skye stood up and beckoned for him to follow her.

Joe stood up, and put his axe into his inventory.

As they walked, Joe couldn't help but worry about what will happen to his town. What is coming his way?

Skye opened the door to her house and headed down the stairs to her basement, where she kept a portal.

"I know I've forbidden you from going through this tunnel," Skye started. "But danger looms on our horizon, and danger calls for desperate measures."

Joe stared at the portal, with gems in the four cardinal directions on the ground and a white vortex swirling between them.

Skye handed him some cookies and a bucket of milk.

"Go in when you're ready.", she said with pain in her voice.

Joe picked off a chocolate chip and nibbled on it.

Just as he started to relax, a big explosion issued above him, and a strange hybrid of Ravager and human jumped down.

Behind this hybrid was a group of other humans who did NOT look friendly.

"Kill them.", hissed the Ravager hybrid.

As the group surged forwards, Skye whipped out two gold swords.

Joe and Skye's eyes met.

"Go!", Skye demanded as she slashed through an evil person.

"Wha-"

Skye pushed him to the portal.

"No matter where we are, know that I'll always be there for you. Near or far!", Skye yelled over the noise. "And," she added. "I'm sorry for this."

Skye pushed him into the portal, and before Joe could pull himself out, smashed a gem into pieces, causing the portal to close.

And so, he was left to fall in the whiteness until he landed somewhere.

(Zedaph's POV)

Zedaph was sailing on a ship with his buddy Impulse, and a new friend named 'Harps.' Harps always found these cool prophecies for people, and they wanted part of that fun.

Zedaph was part dragon. Impulse was resurrected from a year ago.

"Dude.", Impulse said with seriousness as Zedaph had a belly laugh.

"You're about to go Dragon."

Zedaph took a breath, and stopped himself from growing brown scales on his body. "Sorry," he said sheepishly.

Impulse shook his head, and continued hammering up the boat. Suddenly, Impulse stared at the horizon.

"What is it?", Zedaph asked worriedly.

Anything that scared calm Impulse was a problem.

Harps came in from the motor room, his apple red hair, green eyes, and fair skin looking worried.

Now Zedaph was super worried.

Harps gulped. "Um, so other than the fact that there's this evil dude following us..", he said while gesturing to the black... thing that Impulse was staring at.

"I fished up this wet prophecy paper."

Zedaph grabbed the paper from Harp's hands and read the entry on it.

"Raging fire, stormy seas. A great evil cause many to flee. Twenty two souls must join the fight, unless they fall back into the plight. Dragon Blood must swallow madness and fear. Be reborn, find the right mark. The tempest is coming. Be ready on your feet.", Zedaph read.

"What the hell does that even mean?", Impulse asked with a confused look.

That was the last thing he heard as.. something rocked the boat, and spilled Zedaph into the water, and a rock conked him on the head.

(Cleo's POV)

"Sooo.. you want me to find this 'Cub' at the Eastern Mountains?", Cleo asked doubtfully to Herobrine.

"Yes. He is a great threat. Besides.. Don't you want to be human again?", Herobrine evilly sneered as he showed her a mirror.

Her reflection was... terrifying.

Her skin was pale and sickly green, and part of her face was decayed so much, it exposed her skull. She had tangled auburn hair and wore a ragged blouse.

She had only died last month, but she was already horrifying.

"Y-yes I do.", Cleo replied nervously.

"Then go.", Herobrine growled.

Cleo nodded, and boarded onto a phantom with her troop.

(Time Skip)

Cleo jumped off, and motioned for her troop to follow.

Somewhere in this dark cave was this man named 'Cub.', who was the son of an apparently still alive Leonardo Da Vinci.

Cleo pulled out her sword as soon as she saw a silhouette.

"Father died.", it rumbled sadly. "I-I must bury him outside. I will remember his work and be inspired by it."

Footsteps.

When it got quite loud, Cleo leaped around a corner and swung at Cub.

Cub's eyes sparkled in fear, and for the hundredth time whenever she did her job, she regretted everything.

Cub yelped a rapid short paragraph.

"AHHH, CRAP, WHAT THE F! RAGING FIRE, STORMY SEAS! A GREAT EVIL CAUSE MANY TO FLEE! TWENTY TWO SOULS MUST JOIN THE FIGHT, UNLESS THEY FALL BACK INTO THE PLIGHT! SON OF DA VINCI, HOLD BACK YOUR CURSE! UNDEAD SHALL RISE AND MAKE UP FOR WHAT WAS WROOONG!"

Cub's mouth snapped shut, and he ran past them down some stairs.

"After him!", Cleo commanded, and they thundered down after the bearded man.

When they arrived at the basement, Cub was ready to jump into a swirling white vortex.

Cleo tackled into him just as he jumped.

And they both grappled each other all the way down.

(Xisuma's POV)

X and Biffa stood before General Dusk.

"Yes, sir. We shall go there. We will eliminate whatever's there.

X nodded and saluted, but still noticed that Biffa was looking at him with a concerned glance.

A week ago, X had decided to hide his scarred face in his previously just for decoration gas helmet.

He still haven't healed.

"If there's a portal jump through it. It's important.", Dusk added, his half red and half brown eyes glaring at them. "And just in case, remember.. Helmeted pride, hold back your tears. The scarlet one will fall; take the sacrifice."

"Sir, what does that mean?", Biffa inquired while pulling down his gold glasses.

"I actually don't know," Dusk admitted. "But I've been told to pass it on to you. And just remember also, this is only an investigation. Don't hurt anyone, as they may be allies."

X and Biffa nodded, and flew out.

(Time skip)

As they flew, they passed by an old cadet, named Stress.

"Stress!", Biffa called out. "What're you doing, flying around?"

Stress blinked. "Didn't you know? Dusk wanted me to come with you for some reason."

"Did you also get a weird sentence?", Biffa replied back as they grouped back together.

"Hmm.. yeah? He said, 'Icy One, keep them together.'"

X nodded thoughtfully as they landed near a portal.

"Well, this is it. Let's go in!", Stress said as she dived in.

Biffa shrugged, and they both dove after her.

(Author's Note: Dusk lied. Damn! Won't Stress, Biffa, and X be surprised, eh?)
