Family Arc: Bonus
Author's note
Who remembers the drowning death toll?
EX SURE DIDN'T!
Luckily, I did : D!
Also, am I the only unlucky girl to mostly always get a cold AND a high temperature at the same time? Cus that's what happens to me... I get a headache, then temperature and BOOM! an extra cold to top it off! It sucks.
——————————————————
Great. This was exactly what EX wanted.
To be stuck in bed, too tired, physically and mentally drained and sick to move.
Yeah, this was one heck of a sickness...
On top of that, he was also really thirsty... And cold because he'd kicked off the blanket... But too tired tO GET OUT OF BED- was he going to die again, due to starvation? That would really suck...
Yet it seemed like the only thing that'd happen. No hermit knew where he hid, and even if they did, wouldn't help him after the stunt he pulled with AC.
AC...
That infuriating, sneaky, defenceless brat... She was probably out there with everyone, showing off and flaunting some other skill she had, and of course they'd lap it all up like tramps, while he was stuck in his bed.
... At least he'd have some time to himself... Again... For who knows how long...
EX grumbled, closing his eyes, hoping this was all a bad dream. Maybe there wasn't actually a stupid parasite called AC on the server, and he'd just been imagining her up.
And when he opened his eyes-
"Hey EXy!"
He immediately wished he'd kept them shut.
"Go... A... Way..." EX mumbled, turning away from the far-too-energetic girl. As if she knew what he was thinking, she calmed down (though he couldn't see this) and sighed, putting a hand on his forehead.
"... You're burning up. I'll get you some water and medicine, possibly some food if you're up for it." AC muttered, carefully picking his discarded blanket back up. Without his permission, she threw it on him, tucking him in before disappearing in search of the said items.
EX didn't respond, falling asleep instantly.
(A few moments later)
When he woke up, a cool, wet towel was on his forehead, and his blanket was still on him comfortably.
His eyes drifted to his side, spotting AC lying on his floor with her C.P.S.T, next to a bowl of soup and a glass of water. She looked to be writing something, as her now male-peacock tail fanned the hot bowl. Oh. He placed the towel somewhere else, quietly trying to get up.
As he sat up and carried on scrutinising her, the girl suddenly stood up, picking up the bowl with one hand and the cup with the other. Moving towards him, she placed the bowl in... On?... No, in thin air and held the cup out to his lips.
"Drink, before you yell at me, or you'll cough your lungs out after..." AC said softly, giving him a lob-sided grin when he complied.
"... There we go. Can you feed yourself, or...?"
He rolled his eyes, grabbing the bowl and spoon and feeding himself speedily as if to prove a point. When AC didn't move, EX stopped mid-spoon, fixing her with a look.
"Are you leaving, or staying to rub this in my face?" He asked, trying his best to glare at her.
"Neither, EXy. Just staying to look after you, until you become well enough to stand again. And no, I'm not leaving, before you ask." AC shrugged, picking up his towel and cup. Probably to get new ones.
... How did he end up with letting her get away with this, for several days?
Oh right.
He still couldn't MOVE...
But... Maybe it wasn't too bad: true to her word, AC looked after him, even though she must have wanted to meet everyone else.
Even though she had so many other things she could've done.
Even when... He tried to drown her.
... He'd still going to try and kill her again. He was EX, and he told her this, but her reaction was to just nod in a way too ambiguous for him to be angry...
...
But... Did he... Still want to be...?
...
Well... He had to... Didn't he? And that was what he supposed she knew too. So when he became better, immediately hit her into the wall and she escaped, neither's heart was really in it.
But he'd never tell her that... And besides. They still weren't friends, and never would be.
At all...
Underneath his bed the next day, he found a chest full of his lost items. All were brand new, or fully repaired, and there was no note/ indication to who it could've been... Because there didn't need to be...
As he looked over his unused potions, EX then had his next plan.
So... How good exactly were these 'Jevin's potions?

Author's note
Something short and mostly sweet.
No one corrected anything from the age list on the last chapter, so I'm sticking with it now.
Hope that's ok! Because it's a semi-core part of my next arc!
For now, enjoy... A few more random stories on the server. Up next... It's somebody's time of the month, and it's at a kinda bad time...
