Someone was going wrong.

Biffa knew- he had been trying to sort it out in the code because Xisuma was busy... Also in the code.

Xisuma's human was walking his friend through the server's code, looking for the same issue. This was good as it meant three sets of eyes on the look-out, but also terrible, because this was a P.N.N server.

Humans weren't supposed to know they had sentience.

Even now, Biffa had to hurry away and hide whenever he saw 'Xisuma' search around. It didn't help that Biffa's human hadn't been on for a while, so if he was seen, he was doomed.

Luckily, the humans couldn't check the tab list for anyone not being controlled by a human. Biffa was counting on that fact, along with his own skills, to bring him out safely.

That was the plan anyway.

They continued this game of unknowing cat-and-mouse for an hour at least, until 'Xisuma' finally gave a breath of relief, waving Biffa over from where he had hidden. The cyborg didn't wait twice to comply.

"Your human is quite responsible, but really annoying to hide from..." Biffa noted, patting Xisuma on the back. Xisuma gave a tired laugh, stretching his arms.

"Yeah. I noticed..." came the curt reply, and the two shared a chuckle before continuing in their quest.

Code was very comforting in times of doubt. That was something both men... Boys could agree on. Such small, insignificant looking numbers could control such powerful things... Impressive to think about.

Both admins, old and new, found themselves wandering into this place of their own free will. From time to time, for some peace: after all, though their server was beautiful, it could get just the teensiest bit rowdy at times.

Yet regardless of how well Biffa and Xisuma knew this place, they couldn't seem to find the issue, just as Xisuma's human couldn't.

"How is this possible..." Xisuma pondered, staring blankly at the seemingly perfect strings of letters and numbers. "... Maybe we missed something?"

Biffa nodded and started rechecking things they'd searched, immensely confused.

The player list was the first for obvious reasons. Nothing still looked out of order; Joe's human had just logged on though, but not much else had-

And then he saw it.

Xisuma glanced over to see his friend pause, stiffening in his posture. He glanced over at what had caught Biffa's eye, and froze.

Someone had disappeared from the server's player list. Someone who never left.

And something was definitely wrong.
