3rd person POV:

Etho and XBC were talking over breakfast happily, when XBC spoke.

"How would you feel if I got a cat? I've been wanting one for a while."

"I would not care as long as it makes you happy" Etho smiled.
"Well anyways I should get going I have a noteblock job to do today. Have a great day, and go get a cat if you want to." Etho continued to smile as he pulled his mask back over his face as he had finished eating breakfast.

"Alrighty I should let you get to that then, see you tonight?" XBC said warmly.

"Always!" Etho said walking out of XBC's base.

Ethos POV:

I had finished up the noteblock job I was hired to do, and remembered how XBC had mentioned he wanted a cat.

So I thought for a moment before getting an idea.

I knew only one hermit would be able to help me with said idea.

Grian.
The man of many costumes.

I headed over to his base in the jungle.
I found him in a giant room with chests lining the side, I'm guessing this was his storage room.

"Uhh hello there... your Etho right?"

"Yeah, hey I was wondering if you could help me with something. If it's not too much of bother that is."

"Sure thing dude what is it? Need me to egg some ones base? Building cute robots?"

"Uhh not really, I was wondering if you could help me in more of a costume sort of way." I said nervously.

"ahhh ok! What kind of costume we talking about?"

"Cat ears? I was wondering if you had a cat ear headband I could borrow by chance?"

"Most likely. Let's see..," he said rummaging through a chest.

"Ah ha found it! Cat ear headband located!"

I'm just curious as to how this short sweater wearing person has so much energy...

"So would you like anything in return for it?" I asked to be polite.

"Hmmm 5 diamonds and you can keep it."

"Deal" I said taking 5 diamonds out of my inventory and handed them to Grian.
"Thanks dude!"

"No problem! ''Twas a pleasure doing business with you!"
"May I ask why you needed cat ears or... would it be best if I didn't?"

"Ehh Let's Just say they are for XBC." I said smiling under my mask.

"Ahh ok! Well anyways have fun." He said

"I'll get out of your hair now, later Grian!"

And with that I left to get back to XBC's Base.

XBC's POV:

I was working on my base when I heard the sound of rockets being launched. I knew who it was already.

Etho.

I smiled happily knowing it was him.

"ETHO!" I smiled as I pulled him into a tight hug.

"You said you wanted a cat right?"

"Yeah..... Etho you didn't do what I think you did right?" I grinned as I released him from the hug.

It was just now that I looked at him.

He had a cat ear head band on....
I couldn't help but chuckle slightly.

Next thing I know he's rubbing his head on me like a cat.

"I shouldn't have expected you to do anything less." I chuckled as he lightly meowed.
"Stop being so freaking cute Etho!" I mumbled as I was low key dying from both laughter and cuteness from my weird and adorable boyfriend.

"Awhhh do you nowt liwke youwre pwessy" he said in a babyish voice, Before taking his mask off.

"It's not that I don't like it, it's that I wasn't expecting you to be so adorable with a cat ear headband."

"I think you'll like me more when I do this." He said as he gave me a soft kiss.

We were literally thousands of blocks away from the other hermits, and yet I was a blushing mess.

"So you seem to be in a flirty mood aren't ya."

"Only around you." He cooed

About 700 words.

I'm not sure what to say about this other than they are adorable and I've shipped them since my far away one shot.
