If you didn't read the last chapter I suggest reading it it gives some information about what classes most of the hermits take. But you don't have to read it but it is recommended.

3rd Person POV:

Grian was panicking, for he had procrastinated on and important essay for two weeks and now only had 6 hours to write it. Both Mumbo and Iskall told him this would happen, but Grian  ignored them both.

About two hours in Grian was feeling annoyed with himself for procrastinating, but also needed to give his mind a few minute brake. So he called up Mumbo.

~ "Grian, I love you but shouldn't you be writing that essay?" ~
" yes I should be writing that essay.... I needed to take a brake for like 5 minutes, you know how distracted I get if I don't take periodic brakes..."
~ " I know Grian, but you dig yourself into this whole and I can't help you out of it. That essay is a large part of your English grade and last I checked you are on he verge of failing?"~
"Fine I'll get back to work on that essay.... love you Mumby"
~ "love you too Gri but please get back to work." ~

They hung up and Grian sighed, before calling another one of his friends....

~"Grian, what on earth are you doing calling me this late at night!?"~
"Hi X, I'm calling you because I don't know how to transition between paragraphs for the essay I have to write.... could you explain it again please?"
~ "Grian did you procrastinate again?" ~
" yes..."
~ " You know what, you dug your self into this whole, and only you can get it out." ~
~ " next time don't wait until the last second to ask for help, if you need an English tutor you know I'll help you, but for goodness sake Grian ask ahead of time, you can't keep calling me when you need help at 8 at night, because I go to bed early because I have to be at school early. So please Grian let me sleep just this once." ~
"Ok... I had a feeling you were gonna say that, thanks anyway. I'll stop bothering you now."

Grian really should of done this essay when they first got it...

Time Skip (brought to you by panicked Grian.)

Grian finised the essay not caring if it was done properly and he sent it off to the teacher. He was still wide awake so he decided to draw some sketches of things he would like to build. Before falling asleep at his desk.

The next morning.

Grian woke up so see that he had woken up late again and quickly threw his stuff in his bag, threw on his red hoodie, heated up a single frozen waffle, and started out the door to his bus stop. He almost missed the bus again... because he keeps failing his drivers test.

He arrived at school and found Mumbo next to his locker.
"Hey Mumby"
"Hey Gri how did your essay go?"
"Meh... I feel as I did ok but we all know I bullshitted half of it.... I really need help with english.... X offered to tutor me so I may have to take him up on that offer..."
"Gri, just make sure you ask for help when you need it as long as it doesn't inconvenience others, and for the life of me Grian please start going to bed at normalish times."
"I know, I know, but you know I get my best ideas at ungodly hours of the night..."
Mumbo face palmed, at his shorter boyfriend.
They heard an announcement over the intercom.
~ Grian please come to the principles office ~
"What did you do this time?"
"I don't know, but I guess I should get going. Love you Mumby I'll see you later."

A few minutes later....
" Grian, I'm sure your wondering why your in here?"
"Yes sir."
" this is about yesterday's fight in the cafeteria. You know the one with Doc and Bdubs?"
"What does that fight have to do with me sir?"
"Well I've gotten word that you recorded it?"
"And why would you that? You can check my phone, because I didn't record it!"
" well then I guess your off the hook, please return to class."

Time skip.
It was there free period, so Grian met up with X to talk to him.

"Hey X, sorry for calling you last night... I was panicking because I procrastinated on the essay and I'm genuinely struggling with English..."
"Grian your fine. I was just upset because I asleep. My offer still stands, I can tutor you in English only if you agree to put in the effort."
"Thanks X, I'm gonna need to take you up on the offer I really need to pass English..."
"Your welcome Grian. Joe and I tutor English on Fridays after school in the library, if you wish to join. So far it's just Iskall, Zedaph, and Ren who come by. So your more than welcome to join."
" Alrighty then see you there."

This was my first time writing any sort of AU.
I do plan on continuing this. I like how this came out.
