Ren wasn't known for holding grudges. He was always cheerful around everyone. He was one of the hermits who would always make everyone laugh. Not today. Today he had locked himself in his room in his base. Jealousy. Everyone has jealousy at one point in their lives.

"What does she have that I don't! I mean... It's probably how outgoing I am and how annoying I am. I'm nothing like her! Why should they love me?! I'm just a burden. Why do the hermits hang around me?! It's probably just for pity. I'm so useless. I'm not good enough..." He cried out between sobs.

He threw his fist against the wall, watching the blood drip down his hand and onto the floor. The pain wasn't nearly as bad as his jealousy. He diverted his vision to his wrists, remembering the scars from before. He sighed. He had promised Xisuma he wouldn't do it again. His emotional pain was too strong. The knife in his draw was calling out to him. He couldn't help it. "I'm so sorry..." He mumbled under his breathe as he took his knife out from the draw. He took a deep sigh before taking the knife and slicing it across his wrist. The emotional pain was being released but the physical pain was just increasing, soon to overpower his jealousy. That's what Ren wanted. Pain to overpower his jealousy. He walked over and laid down on his dog bed he owned. His wrists bled out. This decision was the right one... Right?

Iskall was worried. They was supposed to be meeting with Ren today. It was the day they were going to finally express their feelings. Stress had broken up with them a week ago, yet nobody knew.

"Where are you Ren? It's been 2 hours... You're never this late.."

Iskall looked down at their communicator.

<Ren> I'm sorry...

<Xisuma> Ren?!

<Iskall> I'm heading to his base right now!

Worry filled Iskall's mind as they landed inside Ren's base.

"REN! REN?! WHERE ARE YOU?!" They called out, rushing to Ren's room.

They tried opening the door, realizing it was locked. Iskall brought their leg up and kicked down the door. They walked in the room, a sense of calm coming over them as they saw Ren asleep in his bed. The sensation of calm vanished as they saw the blood covering the hybrid's hands and wrists and the tear-streaks covering his face. They saw the blood-covered knife next to the sleeping male and tears rolled down their face. They knew they had arrived too late but that didn't stop them from bandaging the injuries and wiping the tear-streaks away.

"Renny, you p-pr-omis-mised..."

Iskall held Ren closer then ever, planting a kiss on the hybrid's forehead.

"I lo-ove yo-you dumbass... B-but Re-enn-ny yo-u pr-omis-ed m-me..."

Iskall kissed the injured male on his lap again.

"Ren I- I'll always be he- here for- for you, o- okay? Just- just please, I- I know it's ha- hard but pl-please, talk to- talk to me?"

"Is-sy?.. I-"

Iskall silenced Ren with a kiss, holding him close and not letting go. They pulled away and saw the pure shock on Ren's face.

"I- I tho-ug-ht yo-ou a-and St-re-ss we-re d-dat-ing..."

"She broke up with me last week Renny. I wanted to meet up with you so I could tell you how much I love you. Now can you tell me why you.."

Iskall paused. They noticed Ren snuggle into their chest with tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Hey hey hey... it'll be ok... You didn't want to did you?..."

They looked down at the hybrid as he was frantically shaking his head.

"A-a-ar-are you g-gun-na te-tell X-xisuma?" Ren mumbled between sobs.

"I'm going to have to Renny... He needs to know.."

"P-ple-ase d-don't..."

Iskall looked down at the crying male on their chest. They placed a hand on the hybrid's head.

"Let it out Ren... It's ok... I'm here for you... I love you... I need you to know I'm here for you and only want the best for you."

Ren cried out, pain and emotions overwhelming him. He didn't know how much he had bottled up inside. He cried and held onto Iskall for his life. He felt safe with Iskall. He felt whole. He felt like everything bad wasn't worth it. He felt like he should live. He felt like he was needed. He felt... Iskall... It was something about the Swede that just...

"Issy?..."

"Yeah Renny?"

"A-are we... more than friends?..."

"Renny, my dear, of course we're more than friends. I love you so much and you love me."

"B-but what if y-you leave?"

"I won't be leaving you. That's a promise."

"L-love you I-issy."

"Love ya too Renny."

The Swede smiled and kissed the hybrid before pulling out their communicator.

<Etho> What do you mean "decent"?

<Iskall> Xisuma?

<Xisuma> Yeah?

<Iskall> He... did it again...

<Xisuma> Is he ok?! Have you done the stuff I said to do if we found him doing it again?

<Iskall> Yep! He's been crying but I've been supporting him and stuff. He seemed really against telling anyone though. 

<Xisuma> He was like that last time as well... Probably just wanting to keep it between the people who know and stuff.

<Stress> Can someone explain what's going on?-

<Beef> Yeah I'm confused-

<Grian> I- Ren did it again?-... He promised me he wouldn't...

<Xisuma> Grian you know?-

<Grian> Yeah.. Walked in on him doing it...

<Mumbo> An explanation would be nice-

<Iskall> We'd give you one but it's not our right to say. Also I better go- I have a crying Ren I need to get back to supporting. Bye guys!

Iskall turned their communicator off and turned their attention back to Ren.

"D-did y-ou t-te-tell t-th-them?"

"I had to baby, I'm sorry.. Xisuma and Grian had to know about it... I couldn't not tell them.."

"I-it-s f-fi-fine..."

Iskall held the hybrid in their arms and kissed him. The tears from Ren soon stopped and the two were there, enjoying each others company. They soon pulled apart as Iskall carried the injured male to the main bed.

"Now we're gunna get some sleep ok? We're gunna forget about everything else that's happened today."

Iskall planted a kiss on Ren's head before they both fell asleep.

"So is that all for the meeting today?" Xisuma ended.

"I have a question." Stress stated.

"Ask away." Grian giggled slightly.

"What happened to Ren and Iskall last night? We didn't hear from them at all until the meeting this morning from my knowledge."

"I was just making sure Ren was ok and he slept well and stuff. I mean he's gone through so much so it was only right."

"But aren't you two just friends?"

"But what if me and Iskall.. What if we're more than friends?"

WOOOOOOOOO WE DID IT! This was so much fun to write- I cried writing this at times- Ok I cried the most at the '"Renny, you p-pr-omis-mised..."' bit. I was crying for a good 10 minutes there-
