Etho felt like he was being watched as he sat down on a bench in the school gardens. He sighed, looking up to see Beef, Doc and Bdubs. His face reddened slightly with seeing Beef, but he played it off as being hot with the school uniform. He slipped his blazer off before pulling out his bento box and notebook, trying to ignore the other three in his presence. He flipped to a clean page and pulled the pencil from behind his ear, placing it down on the page before turning to eat. He swiftly opened his lunchbox, revealing his sushi and miso soup. He turned to look at the trio, watching as Doc and Bdubs repetitively kick Beef under the bench.

"AA- STOP KICKING ME!!" he heard Beef yell.
"Go over to your crush then!!" Bdubs whisper-yelled, so loud that Etho was sure at least one of the teachers in their offices would have heard him.
"No!!"

Etho tried to ignore the intense whisper-yelling behind him, failing miserably. He picked up his chopsticks and used them to eat some of his maki rolls. The whisper-yelling soon turned into actual yelling, causing Etho to put airpods in to drown them out. He scrolled on his phone to find a good playlist of his, putting on the one called 'Our Love Is God <3'. He smiled as 'Helpless' came on, letting him eat and daydream about his crush all at the same time. He focused on the music and the taste of his food in the mouth, along with the thoughts of Beef and the few moments the two had together. They had a couple classes together, normally sat side by side, however they never really talked outside of those lessons, so he treasured each and every moment they had. He placed his chopsticks down before grabbing the miso soup and pouring it out of the small thermos flask into the mini bowl. He brought it up to his lips and gently tilted it, letting the liquid slowly pour into his mouth and down his throat. He smiled at the familiar taste, gently lowering the bowl every so often to make sure he wasn't going to choke and to take a few breaths.

His gaze drifted over to the trio as 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight?' began playing, the gentle music filling his ears as he gazed at his red-faced crush and his idiotic friends. He found himself staring at Beef, admiring his eyes and how cute he looked while flustered, not caring if they knew he was staring. He turned his music down, purely to try and catch some of the conversation going on, as there was no more screaming.

"I'll give you, uhhh, 20 bucks if you go over to him." Bdubs said, pulling out his wallet.
"I'm not going over!!" Beef replied.
"Oh come on, we all know it'll be good for you." Doc smirked, giving Beef a slight nudge.
"Fine. I'll go. I want 40 bucks from each of you though." Beef sighed in defeat, knowing he couldn't win this battle.
"Well fuck me gently with a chainsaw, never thought I'd hear that out of you." Doc responded in a mocking tone, smirking.
"Don't make me fucking regret this."
"I'll give you an extra 20 bucks if you kiss~" Bdubs teased, watching as Beef got extremely redder.

Etho turned his gaze back to his lunch and notebook, picking up the pencil and starting to sketch out characters - mainly Kakashi and Sasuke. He saw a shadow fall over his notebook, causing him to look up.

"Hey Etho.." Beef mumbled.
"Heya Beefers, what can I do for you?"
"I- uh. Well, you see- uh-"

Etho giggled at the flustered male, placing down his pencil to pay full attention to the other. He smiled as the other gazed down slightly out of embarrassment.

"So, what do you wanna do?" He asked, trying to calm the other down slightly.
"I- uh- I don't know to be honest. You just looked lonely and so I came over and yeah.."
"That's so sweet of you, I'm honestly glad you came over."
"It'sfineifyouwantmeto- wait what..?"
"Yeah, I'm glad you came over here, I could do with some company."
"Where's your normal group? Y'know, Ren, Grian, Tango, Zed, Impulse?"
"Oh, they have an actors meeting today, I'm a set and lighting person so I didn't need to go."
"Ah, I see."

Etho smiled softly, noticing Beef looked slightly calmer than before. He looked down at his food, knowing he should probably eat, yet wanting to spend time talking with the other. There was a short moment of silence before the other spoke.

"I honestly don't understand how you use those."
"Hm? Oh the chopsticks?"
"Yeah, they just seem so confusing. Like, how do you use them?"
"Do you want me to show you?"
"Yeah, I just don't get it."

He picked up the chopsticks and talked Beef through how to use them, picking up a maki roll and eating it. He proceeded to pick another one up and offer it to the other, who gladly accepted the food. He watched as the other blushed at the gesture, yet smiled at the taste of the food. The atmosphere was calm, the two taking it in turns to eat the maki rolls. The silence was nice, the two being calm but flustered at the others' presence. They soon finished the sushi, letting Etho pack up his bento box and slide it away. He looked at the other, noticing that Beef was staring at his notebook.

"They aren't the best doodles I've done.."
"Etho, they're amazing! They look so cool, you honestly need to tell me more about your interests and things you like to draw, I'd so be down to listen to you."
"Really??"
"Mhm!! We need to spend more time together anyways, so it would only help us get closer."
"Yeah, wanna head to the cafe after school?"
"Of course, then do ya wanna head to my place and watch some movies?"
"Sounds good!"

The two smiled and kept up sweet conversations until the bell rang to signify the end of lunch. Etho packed up his stuff and waited for Beef, who went to get his stuff from the other bench.

"I'll see ya after school then?" Beef asked.
"Yeah, see you." Etho responded.

Before walking off, he stopped and placed a small kiss on the other's cheek. He giggled as Beef turned extremely red, before turning to leave and head to the drama block, immediately being stopped by a tug on his bag. He turned to see Beef, who wrapped an arm around his back.

"Beefers, you alright? We're going to be late if we don't-"

He was cut off by the feeling of the other's soft lips on his own. He kissed back, wrapping his arms around Beef's neck. They soon pulled apart and let go, smiling gently at each other.

"See ya Etho."
"Bye! Love you!~"
"Love you too."

Etho turned and walked away, slowly making his way to the drama block. He tried to suppress the thoughts of him and Beef kissing, yet failing miserably. He entered the building and went into his drama room, immediately sitting down against the door. He looked up at his friends, seeing the worry on their faces.

"I'm fine, just something unexpected happened at lunch." He reassured as Impulse sat next to him and the others came over.
"Mhm, so what happened?" Grian asked teasingly, crouching down next to him.
"So you guys all know about my crush on Beef right?"
"Yup! We all know about you being head over heels for him." Tango teased.
"So, uh. He came and sat with me and uh, we ended up kissing."
"OH MY GOSH!! FINALLY!" Ren shouted.
"YESSS!!" Zed celebrated.
"I should not have told you guys this." Etho mumbled.
"Nope, they're not gunna stop talking about it now." Impulse responded.
"Well I'm screwed."
"Indeed you are."
