Plot 
When the Kaiju attacked, humanity fought back. When humanity fell, it turned it's back on those who were trying their hardest. 

The Kaiju Whiplash had taken Grian's best friend from him. And originally Grian's grief didn't allow him to return to the Jaeger Program out of fear that he would get someone else killed. 

But anger was still persistent. Ever lingering, ever strong, ever patient.

Grian returned to the Jaeger program under multiple circumstances and conditions. And whilst on the search for the perfect co-pilot, Grian finds someone else who is seeking vengeance on the monster Whiplash. 

Anger never felt so strong before.
