𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕: 𝟏,𝟓𝟔𝟕

Ren quietly sat by the bridge as he watched Doc from a distance who was talking to Xisuma about stuff that Ren couldn't make out. He knew that it would make Doc uncomfortable as it certainly feels like Doc wasn't interested in a relationship anytime soon.

But when you're in love, you just can't help yourself.

That's what Ren is thinking about, Doc is always at least in one of his thoughts even if he didn't intended to. Small crush, that's all. As a matter of fact, both Stress and Iskall came to the conclusion that either Ren was just hiding something stupid like he can now turn into a wolf apparently, or it was something to do with the mad scientist.

It was starting to get late and eventually Xisuma and Doc walked back to whatever they were going. Ren sighed, his heart dropped that Doc didn't notice he was eavesdropping their conversation the entire time. He dragged himself to a nearby fountain, just outside Sahara. Ren was quite surprised that Iskall, Grian and Mumbo were in their meeting room planning... well something.

That all stopped though when Ren's mind had shifted to Doc again. He would've rather just forget that he was in love with Doc than actually being able to confess his love.

"This is so stupid..." Ren said out loud, not realising that Stress and Scar are right behind him.

Stress was wearing her pyjamas, which was strange because who even walks around in public with pyjamas on? Scar's hair was all messy and was wearing something more casual. It confused Ren seeing these two in different outfits, he really hopes that it's not some sort of Concorp scheme.

"Ren, erm we've been noticing you acting up lately..." Stress responded. "Oh, don't ask why I'm in my jammies. Really not that important."

Scar and Ren both looked at each other weirdly.

"I think what she's saying is that we both noticed the odd behaviour and how it concerns both of us." Scar explained to Ren.

"Okay, there's nothing you need to worry about Stress." Ren backed away, believing that it could also be Stress trying to get secret information for Concorp (If Ren said that right now, he would've been done for by Stress).

"It's obvious, you're in love."

That voice happened to come from Grian's, as he approaches the three alongside Iskall and Mumbo. Ren was quite frankly, embarrassed by how Stress was starting to cause a scene. He can't really blame anyone but himself, now the whole server would know including Doc himself.

"Can I just..." Ren calmed the crowd of his five friends down who were already too suspicious about the hippy's sudden quietness. And only the sounds of Iskall chewing his golden carrot was heard.

Iskall was about to puke from the amount of golden carrots he kept eating. "If you're going to break into song while I'm about to puke, I swea-"

"If there was a prize for rotten judgement, no. I guess I've already won that." Ren sang, as Scar realised that this was a Disney song. The five watched as Ren walked away from the group, not wanting to sound too cheesy.

"Is this the part where we got to sing?" Iskall interrupted, but was quickly shushed by Mumbo.

Ren sighed in a romantic manner. "No man is worth the aggravation..."

Stress snickered, putting a CD on the jukebox that was being used to play dramatic music when Sahara was first opened. Scar's Disney spark definitely got into Stress' as well.

"That's ancient history, been there, done that!"

Little did he knew that behind them, Scar and Stress were singing in response. Grian, Iskall and Mumbo didn't have any idea what was going on and why was this suddenly a musical sequence.

"Who d'you kidding? He's the earth and heaven to you!" Stress and Scar sang together, both their voices went on sync together.

"W-We just follow along?" Grian panicked, noticing that Ren was too busy being wrapped up over how much of a handsome person Doc was.

"Screw it, I love Hercules anyway!" Iskall giggled, throwing the golden carrots from the shulker box.

Mumbo rolled his eyes, but still despite this still needed to sing to keep it from getting awkward. "Try to keep it hidden, honey we can see right through you!"

"Oh nooooo!" Ren responded, shaking his head.

"Girl you can't conceal it," Grian continued, smiling innocently at Ren.

"We know how you're feeling , who you thinking of!" Iskall replies, tapping on Ren's shoulder.

Ren rubbed his eyes, this day couldn't get any worst! He walks away, refusing to accept that he was in love. Dumb puppy love, this was all just something that would go away in a few months. Except, it was a few years that's he's been in love.

"No chance! no way! I won't say it, no, no." Ren added, picking up a rose that was left on the ground.

"You swoon, you sigh, why deny it oh oh?" The five said all together, although Iskall's voice was kind of out of sync if you asked Scar.

Ren looked at the rose, it was similar to the ones he remembered seeing at Doc's old base. "It's too cliche, I won't say I'm in love!"

Mumbo and Grian both shrugged at each other, was Ren really in love or this was yet another stupid prank? Well, sweet revenge if it is true.

Now they were at the modern district, singing about denying of being in love. But of course, Ren didn't care much of it. Strolling up the bridge and pass the perfectly lit shops.

"I thought my heart had learned its lesson, it feels so good when you start out." Ren started, still holding the rose that was found laid on the ground. "My head is screaming, get a grip girl!"

Ren then saw the message that popped up.

Docm77: Ren, do you mind coming to the Medieval district for a chat?

His heart was beating fast, turning towards his five fellow hermits."Unless you're dying to cry your heart out!"

Ren moved forward towards the Medieval district as Scar and Stress makes the three architects follow along to the song. "Girl you can't deny it, who you are is how you're feeling!"

"Baby we're not buying, hon we saw you hit the ceiling!" Scar said in an enthusiastic voice, that was the most Scar could do to convince Ren.

"Face it like a grown-up..." Stress reminded Ren, crossing her arms.

Inside Grian's mind was that this was cute, seeing Ren finally break out of shell in a while. "When you gonna own up that you got!"

"Got!" Iskall added, stealing a golden apple and crunching on it.

"Got it back!" The architects sung together.

Doc meanwhile was looking for Ren, having those same bad thoughts that there's something that Ren was hiding from him. His breath turned into warm mist, this was a wintery area after all. He noticed that Ren was right there from a distance... and apparently Scar was singing?!

Ren covered his ears, not wanting to sing anymore with these Disney loving dumbasses."No chance! no way! I won't say it, no, no!"

"Give up, give in, check the grin you're in love!" Mumbo pulled a smirk out of his face, pushing him from a point where he could see Doc looking for him.

Ren was caught off guard, his face going noticeably red, pushing Mumbo away. "This scene won't play, I won't say I'm in love!"

"You're doin' flips, read our lips, you're in love!" Iskall yelled across the district, which made Doc turn around only to figure out what was really happening.

"You're way off, base I won't say it!" Ren proceeded to walk down the pathway ignoring that Doc was close to him. "Get off my case I won't say it!"

It was too late to turn back as Doc already spotted him. Mumbo, Iskall, Stress and Scar who were just behind Ren flew their elytras to a nearby spot where they can watch what unfolds next. Ren looked around, wanting to run away from this mess.

Grian was the last one to sing, holding the rose and placing it on Ren's hand. "Girl don't be proud, it's okay you're in love." Patting Ren in the back with a smile, the sounds of firework rockets as he flew off.

Doc laughed softly. "So those bastards are the ones behind this!"

"Guess you already knew what was going on..." Ren said, trying not to think about how Doc would react to all of this.

Not even asking Ren what was happening, Doc gave him a simple question. "Guess I'm safe to say that I do have feelings for you as well."

Ren couldn't help it but start sobbing, Doc panicked as he tries to wipe his tears off. "R-Really? You meant it, right?"

"Stop crying you idiot, of course I do!" Doc replied in such a calm manner, Grian couldn't take him seriously for some reason. Ren was bawling so much that he accidentally tripped over Doc.

Collapsing each others feet, they both fell off the footpath. Doc chuckled, pulling Ren back up and giving him a hug. Ren didn't expect anything too fancy, this was already enough for him.

Ren sung quietly to himself. "At least out loud, I won't say I'm in love."
