Peaceful Easy Feeling is honestly such a bop, I love the Eagles. Anyways, this song reminds me of ConVex so bing bang bargraph. Also, there is going to be an announcement at the bottom, so at least go check that out as it is important. Also, I finally write something that is just fluff. 

Cub released Scar from his tight embrace and took a step back to look at him, softly brushing his hand over his partner's neck. Scar giggled a little and wrapped his hand around Cub's waist. He looked up at Cub, beaming a smile off his face before putting his head on Cub's shoulder.

"I've missed you," Scar said, nuzzling his head a little into Cub's shoulder. "But can we please go inside? I'm cold." he deadpanned.

Yeah, of course. Knowing the hermit's they are probably spying on us anyway," Cub laughed, speaking the last part of his sentence a little louder, having known the antics of their friends by now. 

Scar snickered at that and skipped forward towards the ConCorp. layer, dragging Cub behind him by the hand. 

As they got through the threshold, Scar ran ahead to the foyer room with the large fireplace and a cozy little couch. After him, Cub made his way down the hall with not quite as much haste as Scar had. He didn't know how he was able to go non-stop for so long and it always impressed Cub.

As Cub turned the corner he saw the fire burning warmly, crackling and permeating the sweet smell of burning wood through the room. Cub wandered towards the couch and stepped over the back of it, narrowly avoiding Jellie who had spread herself out comfortably over a blanket.

Cub bounced down onto the couch, looking at Scar who had a guitar sitting across his person. Cub raised his eyebrow, motioning towards the guitar.

Scar spoke as he tuned his guitar,  "I've been working with Joe and X a little." he beamed. 

Cub cocked his head, "Really? With what time?" he laughed, "Also, since when does X play the guitar?" 

Scar laughed as well, "Yeah, honestly I didn't know about that till I asked around."

Cub shook his head, "Man, what a group." Scar nodded to that, then strummed the first few chords. 

"I like the way your sparkling earrings lay, against your skin so brown" Scar quietly sung. Cub knew he recognized it from somewhere.

"Oh hey, that's that one song," Cub commented, searching his head for the name, "Ummm, peaceful... peaceful nice feeling? By like, The Hawks or something, yeah?"

Scar heartily laughed, "Your lack of knowledge about classic rock astounds and offends me," He continued softly playing the cords as they spoke, then soon continued his melodic singing.

"And I want to sleep with you in the desert night with a billion stars all around" Scar let the verses roll off his tongue as to it lead up to the chorus. Cub had started humming along as it set into his head more.

"'Cause I got a peaceful easy feelin' and I know you won't let me down 'cause I'm already standin' on the ground" the two harmonized, their voices melting together like caramel. Cub wouldn't consider himself anywhere near as good of a singer as Scar is, but together their voices rang about the crackle of the fire beside them.

"And I found out a long time ago what a woman can do to your soul, aw but she can't take you anyway, you don't already know how to go. and I got a peaceful easy feelin' and I know you won't let me down 'cause I'm already standin' on the ground" Scar sleepily rocked with the flow of the music. Cub scooted down to the floor beside him, their backs turned towards the fire. Jellie even came down and sat herself down right in the middle of Scar's lap. 

Scar stopped his strumming and hummed. "I get this feelin' I may know you
As a lover and a friend,"

Cub continued it, "This voice keeps whisperin' in my other ear, tells me I may never see you again" The two of them had their guesses of what their lives were like before Hermitcraft, but they knew their connection was something older than the server.

Scar started back up with the chords again and finished the rest song"'Cause I get a peaceful easy feelin' and I know you won't let me down 'cause I'm already standin' I'm already standin'
Yes, I'm already standin' on the ground" He faded out into a simple silence. The fire behind them still crackling, but not quite as hot as before. Scar cast the guitar out of his lap and layed down into Cub's lap with Jellie splayed across his chest, unconscious dragging his fingers through her soft fur.

Cub looked down at Scar, "I'm not carrying you anywhere." he told Scar, really too tired to move much at all from the area, much less lug Scar around.

Scar smirked a little, "Yes you will" he laughed.

Cub paused, but then sighed and nodded, "Yeah, I guess I will," "But I would have to get up to do that, and I have to plans to do that" 

Scar threw his hands up a little way, " Fine, I guess I will just have to sleep here" he said, jokingly crossing his arms and pouting.

"Yeah, I guess you will." Cub shot back. Scar dramatically put his hand on his forehead and fell back a little.

The two continued their banter for a little while longer before Scar actually did fall asleep, and Cub did end up picking him up and bringing him to a bed.

Aww, now wasn't that cute? See, I can make characters show other emotions than just sad and angst haha, I know I do a lot of song fics, so I hope you guys don't mind too much. 

Now, onto that important notice! So, I think I'm going to go on a small hiatus with this book for maybe a week or three. But don't think I will be gone! I am going to move my superhero chapters into a book called 'Bird on a Wire' that will be up soon! I'm really looking forward to writing more of that book. But I will probably update this book some, just not as much as usual (which is already not much lol) and I swear I will try and stick away from song fics for a while (maybe)
