Bdubs watched as bullets rained above, he knew this was it. He was stuck. His teammates were nowhere to be seen, and he doubted they would come around now. The enemy was circling closer. He had no hope.

No, this wasn't it! All his friends had been taken down, and all because of him. Bdubs knew, if he wanted to have any change, he had to take this shot. For himself and his fallen comrades.

The builder took a deep breath...

The lights were blazing and the sound was blaring, yet somehow still, Keralis had a crazy grin along with his already large eyes plastered into his face. He didn't come here to lose. Really, Bdubs would have been a little frightened by this if he didn't know he had the same expression on his face. They were about to take names and kick ass.

Xisuma looked between them, "you two look like absolute idiots. By the way." he commented, chuckling heartily.

Keralis looked like him and smacked on the shoulder with a grin, "come on man, don't say that. We're about to go into battle! This is the fight of our lives!" he exclaimed.

" let's be honest, we only actually need to be worried about one of them." Xisima commented, flicking down his visor, which made his suit suddenly light up with a brilliant glow.

"Woah woah woah, why do you get the fancy suit?" Bdubs asked his now glowing friend.

Xisuma gave him a pitty smile and flicked down his visor for him, which in turn also light up his suit. Bdubs was about to say something when Keralis flicked down his visor too and Xisuma cocked his gun, "ready?" he asked.

Keralis nodded excitedly, but Bdubs wasn't quite as confident. He knew he would never be ready for this, everything was on the line, including two boyfriends who were acting way too confident in their abilities.

Bdubs shrugged, " let's do this." I mean, how bad could this end?

The answer to that is really bad. Like really really bad. This was not good. At all. This was not going their way.

In the time of about 10 minutes, they had run out of ammo, and been jumped not once, not twice, but three times. I'm ten minutes! Ten! And now Keralis was nowhere to be seen and honestly? Bdubs was starting to get worried.

But speak of the devil and he will appear I guess, because just as he was thinking this, he saw the familiar blue blow of Keralis's armor. But the sense of relief was short-lived as he heard his teammate being followed by strategically shot bullets. Bdubs ran towards his partner to try and have his back, maybe even shielding him from the wall of bullets raining their way. But Keralis had the same idea and pulled a Quicksilver in Age of Ultron (too soon on my part. Too soon.)

Next thing Bdubs and Xisuma knew, they were running from the enemy, one man down. The duo were distraught, but the battlefield was no place for feelings like this. And Bdubs knew, Once one goes down, the rest fall like dominos.

This knowledge didn't help him deal with the fact though. Bdubs thought they might last a little longer than they did. His optimism failed him again.

As karma would have it, they were able to get a small lead for a moment. He and Xisuma were able to get a big enough jump on them to knock out two of the other team members, but not without a casualty.

Xisuma was snipping them, but when one of them caught on, it was a bloody duel, and they both lost. And now here Bdubs was, alone in a 1v1 with the most dangerous member of the enemy.

His enemy was trained on him, searching for him. So if he just didn't look for the enemy, they wouldn't run into each other, right?

That would be his plan. He knew he could not stay here much longer of they would find him, he had to go take his revenge.

The builder took a breath...

He shot around the corner and booked it toward's the enemy's base. He vaulted over rocks and swam through the thick fog that hung over the battlefield.

After a few minutes of running, then searching, then running out of breath because he was way too out of shape for all this running, he finally saw the faint yellow glow of what he was looking for through the fog. This was it! This was-

His thoughts were cut off by a bullet that shot right beside his head. Oh God no, this is it! This is it this is actually it.

" it's over Bdubs! Give up now! I'll let you out." Bdubs heard the Swedish man call though the fog.

"we with know that's a lie Iskall! You ruthlessly murdered all of my team! There is no way you would let me out now"

"well that was the goal! That was your goal, wasn't it? I mean Xisuma did the same thing to Mumbo and Grian! Do you think in just some ruthless murderer who doesn't care about my friends? They were people too! We are both people Bdubs."

"I know what you're doing! You are just trying to ground the situation, to make me side with you! I won't!" Bdubs exclaimed, turning to the yellow item glowing in the fog and shooting it. "I'll see you in hell, and I won't even wave." Bdubs hissed as all the lights around them shut off.

Only he and Iskall were still light up. "fine." the Swedish Architect hissed back. he aimed his pistol at Bdubs and shot him point-blank. It was all over.

All the lights turned back on after the shot. All the fog was barely noticeable in the bright LED lights. Bdubs herd a someone clapping beside him, then suddenly all around him. He looked up and took Iskall's hand, which was offering him help off the floor.

"very dramatic, 10/10 my dude" Iskall chuckled, smiling at him.

Bdubs took his friend's help standing up. "haha, yeah. Thank you" Bdubs said, dramatically bowing when he got himself standing up.

"that was most definitely the most dramatic and stressful game of Lazer Tag I have ever played" they both agreed.

The two laughed and were soon joined by Mumbo, Grian, Xisuma and Keralis. They all started laughing and reenacting the scenes if their downfall and telling each other about what the missed while they were spread out like Mumbo and Grian tripping over each other or Xisuma, in all of his grace, running straight into a wall at the beginning.

As they walked out if the Lazer Tag arena, they were greeted by all the hermits who were watching them, making fun if skip ups and complementing shots.

"X, where did you learn to snipe like that?" Impulse asked the suited up hermit

Xisuma has a sly smile on his face. He put his finger over his mouth in a "shh" position, "that's a secret that's the answer is best kept that way"

Impulse laughed, semi-anxiously, but it sooner turned into a genuine laugh as everyone else laughed as well.

"well, that was an interesting round and all, but this next round is due to be interesting" all the hermits turned to Cub, standing on a take beside Scar, speaking into a megaphone, "the next two teams for laser tag are... Zedaph, Tango, and Impulse vs. Cleo, Stress, and False!" everyone started cheering.

As the hype of the last game faded, and everyone placed bets of the new teams, Bdubs settles down with his two boyfriends, some hot dogs, and nachos, and smiled, but couldn't help but ask, if that really was all just in the game.

Haha, it's funny that I write this whole thing because I wanted to write an action scene, but have to reason to write one lol. Furthermore, tell me what you guys thought about this! I'm excited :3

Sidenote; expect a Superhero au, because that is my jam dude (and because I'm bl00dthirsty demon mwahaha)
