Anything would be better

Ayyo guess who's b-b-b-b-birthday it is! And what am I doing to celebrate? I'm writing angsty stories! Yay! Anyways, enjoy it! I don't really watch these guys much, so I hope I got them right :)

Zedaph couldn't believe it, he was so betrayed. Really beyond betrayed, even though a part if he felt like he should forgive him or simply ask what happened, but Zed couldn't bring himself to that yet.

Doc came out of the room and turned to him, telling him he could see him now. Zed entered the room he was standing outside of and looked over at the bed in the center of the room. Impulse was lying, unconscious, with burns running up his arms and a long laceration stitched up across his chest. Xisuma, who was working on watching up a few minor scrapes cast a pitying gaze over to him.

After only looking at Impulse for a brief moment, Zed already decided that he couldn't bear to see his closets friend like this. He spun around and ran towards the door, busting right back out of the room and towards the exit. He could hear footsteps- presumably Doc's- following him, but Zed didn't let that stop him. Plus, if Doc really wanted to stop him, he most certainly could.

Zedaph got to the entrance and busted through to the outside. He opened his large feathered angel wings and shot into the sky, blinded by rage. He was determined, he was about to hunt Tango down. Zed started flying around the server, really half-heartedly looking for Tango, but really just trying to rest his mind.

Zed felt sick. This was all his fault if he had just seen tango getting aggravated maybe he could have stopped him before the demon hurt their friend. Or if he had been quicker maybe he could have moved Impulse out of the way, or even put himself there; after all, Zed was sent to be his guardian angel. Since Impulse somehow found himself being followed by Tango, Zed was sent to stop him without altering anyone about what was going on, but that failed miserably and so the angel and demon where both banished to the overworld, and since then the two had kind if acted as his shoulder angel/demon. But here Zedaph was, just hoping that Impulse would make it through the night. Oh dear God, anything would be better than this.

Zedaph continued to think for a long time, or he assumes it was a long time. He wasn't really sure but when he smacked into a tree he was quickly drawn back into reality. When he regained his balance on the ground after countless hours lost to thought, Zed felt all if his energy drain in an instant. He knew he would be hella sore in the morning, but he would just have to deal with that as it came because he wasn't stopping yet. He had to find Tango now.

Zedaph struggled to raise himself to the sky again, fighting the need to collapse on the ground. But once he got into the sky, the fresh and cold air send a short-lived and well-needed circuit of energy through him, and that's all he needed. Zed started his actual search for the demon and wouldn't stop until he found him.

--small time skip brought to you by; Concorp--

He started asking all of the hermits if they had seen him anywhere, and unlucky for him none of them had, but by sheer lunch alone, Zedaph flew over Scar's beautiful volcano island and happen to spot exactly who he was looking for. Tango seemed to be standing right on the edge of the volcano, kneeling down and clenching his head.

Zed didn't know if Tango saw him it not, but he shot down to the top of the mountain but landed carefully as to not startle Tango. The angle pulled out his sword and pointed it at the demon, who looked up at him.

Long black marks covered the demon's face, it looked like he was struck by lightning. His blonde hair was singed and his normal stub horns now resembled those of a goat, as well as his fangs,  being much for present and his red eyes glowing like the lava behind him. At first, he snarled, then something softened in him for just a moment, and for just a moment, Tango was back.

He looked at him with pleading eyes and somehow managed to utter a few painful words out to him. "i-i'm so sorry" Tango pleaded, his voice cracking from a pitiful squeak to a demonic grumble and back. "i-i it- it's back Zed. There back" tango stumbled up and loosely grabbed onto Zedaph. "please help me," he said softly

Zedaph was taken aback, but his primal- or celestial instinct kicked in. His face hardened, he looked down at his once best friend and uttered one word.

     "no"
