Grian had a secret, he was a Watcher and no one liked Watchers. So, it was a secret for a reason.

Of course, some people knew he was one, specifically two people, Mumbo, and Doc.

Mumbo found out by stumbling across Grian using his watcher wings, of course, Mumbo still liked Grian, they had been friends for a long time, and he trusted that Grian wouldn't do anything.

Doc found out when Grian had to go to a Watcher meeting and was in his Watcher robes.

Both men swore to never tell anyone.

And they kept it a secret, that is, until demise.

See, Doc and Grian were enemies, they were always against each other, so when Doc was killed by Grian's trap, he got mad.

He had enough of Grian, he was annoyed and tired of everything Grian started.

Doc flew over to Xisuma's base in a blind rage.

He knocked on Xisuma's door, and Xisuma answered nearly immediately.

"Yes, Doc?" Xisuma asked impatiently, "There is a Watcher on the server!" Doc replied

(Pause. The reason everyone hates watchers is because of what happened to Evo (it got destroyed) even though the Watchers didn't destroy it, people just blamed them, so now they believe Watchers destroy servers)

"How do you know? And who?" X quickly asked, "I saw him with Watcher robes on, and if I tell you, I don't think you'll believe me," Xisuma looked done with the conversation, if Doc wouldn't tell him, he would find the person himself.

"Fine, I'll tell you," Doc said after a while, he paused again, "It was Grian."

X looked at Doc like he was crazy, he didn't believe that Grian would be a Watcher, he was too innocent.

"It can't be Grian, he is too innocent," X just didn't believe Grian would be a Watcher, but Doc shook his head.

"It really is Grian, we can even go ask him if you want," Doc was getting annoyed.

Finally, X agreed to go ask Grian if he was a Watcher, so they got their elytra's on and flew towards his base.

When they arrived and landed, they saw Grian looking through his chests. X could never figure out why Grian never seemed to sort his chests.

X was snapped out of his thoughts when Doc cleared his throat. Grian turned around when he heard the noise as well.

Grian didn't know why X and Doc were at his base, but he was worried. He never really talked to Doc, except when Doc found out he was a Watcher, so him and X, here, was not a good sign.

"Hi! Do you need anything?" Grian asked the two men nervously, sure he was friendly with them, but something inside him told him something was about to go down.

"Yes, in fact. Doc gave me a reason to believe you are a Watcher," X replied. Grian's eyes immediately widened. He didn't know what to do, Doc had spilled his secret. He trusted him!

Grian saw Doc's confidant smirk.

That's it.

Doc wanted revenge, he could tell, but what could do about it.

Maybe he could...

That works.

"Yeah, I'm a Watcher. Why? Is there something wrong?" Grian said as confidently as he could. He could see the surprise on both of their faces, perfect, that's the reaction he wanted.

"Uh- Watchers aren't allowed on the server, so we have to ban you," X said, still surprised by Grian's answer.

"Okay, I'll just leave by myself, tell everyone I said bye," Grian responded, he knew that the other hermits would back him up, so he just agreed with their requests.

"O-okay then, uh bye, it was nice having you here," Alright, time to leave, he trusted the other hermits, that was his only way back in.

*-Time Skip-*

"Wait, WHAT?" Mumbo shouted, he and the rest of the hermits just found out about Xisuma banning Grian, or rather Grian leaving himself. "How could you, Grian trusted you!"

"You really wanted a Watcher here Mumbo? They're dangerous," Doc fired back, he was glad they got rid of the danger to society.

"He was our friend Doc! He wouldn't have done anything!" False yelled from the back of the crowd.

"I-I guess, but who knows what he could have done," Doc stuttered, he just was now realizing his mistake.

"If you had kept your mouth shut, then he'd still- he'd still be here!" Mumbo cried out, all the hermits missed the bubbly, small man, including X.

"Let's bring him back, he wouldn't purposely hurt us," Joe declared, everyone seemed to agree.

"Alright, I'll unban him and message him that he can come back," with that announcement, everyone cheered, they were glad the short gremlin was returning.

Xisuma Unbanned Grian

"Finally, I knew you guys would do something," Grian muttered as everyone hugged him.
