Told you remake

<I finally got something done! Woo! Also, I notice that I stress to much about all the stories here, so I think I'll start doing work for the Warriors AU book. So there might be an update there earlier then expect. Anyways, please enjoy this remake!

Added edit: This takes place in the W-family AU! I forgot to add that before, but I remembered! >

It was a normal day for Scar and Cub on the Hermitcraft server. They had been checking up on shops and seeing what needed restocking, normal stuff for a lazy day. It was normal until Xisuma sent an intriguing text through chat.

<Xisumavoid> Come to spawn. There's something you all have to see.

Now this immediately caught both Vex's interest. What could possibly be at spawn? Whatever it is, it's serius. It might have just been a text, but they could tell it was very serious.

Scar and Cub quickly left the coral shop, using the bubble elevator to take off. They quickly flew to spawn, expecting to see the gray and cyan builds come into view. What they instead were met with was what looked like a chunk of a different world had been pasted in with little care. And that wasn't even the end of it, engraved into the ground was what looked like a nether portal made out of bedrock that's frame had been broken in the corners. Scar felt like he'd seen the symbol somewhere before, but he can't pinpoint where exactly.

They both dived down towards where they could see the other Hermits had gathered. Cub landed steadily on his feet, only taking a tiny bit of damage from the landing. He thankfully caught Scar before the brunette could crashland into the dirt.

Scar gave him a grateful peck on the cheek before sliding out of his boyfriends strong grip. Once back on the ground he greeted every there. Whilst doing so he noticed that Grian wasn't there, so he voiced his questions, "Has anyone seen Grian? I feel like he'd be here by now."

A mummer of 'no's where shared, each Hermit looking from one another looking for someone who would say that they had seen him. But it never came, no one had seen Grian.

This made panic start to bloom in Scar's chest, this wasn't like Grian. If he was running late he'd tell someone, so why wasn't anyone saying anything? He looked to Cub, praying to that he just hadn't seen Cub make any indication that he'd heard from Grian. But the sad shake of his head wasn't the answer he wanted. Scar was starting to lose himself to the panic, but Cub's warm embrace and the call of X brought him back.

"Now that I have everyone's attention, I'd like to tell you all something." Said Xisuma loudly, making sure everyone could hear him. "Grian's been kidnaped."

Horrified gasps echoed around the air, though Scar was deaf to it all. The world just stopped as the information sunk in. Grian, his and Cub's sweet little gremlin boyfriend, was gone. Taken, even. Who would want to do such a thing, and who got into the server for that matter? Scar didn't notice that he'd started shaking, but Cub sure did. So the bearded Vex did the best he could to comfort him whilst also fighting down his own worry and panic.

He let out a shaky breath before asking X, "What makes you so sure he's been kidnaped?"

"Because it looked like a battlefield at Grian's base. So I can only assume he's been taken, I don't know for sure." Replied X somberly.

Scar broke down after that, quiet sobs racking his body. Just imagining what Grian's base might look like made his tears spill. He vaguely registers sobbing elsewhere, though he can't tell who it is. Scar didn't want to really talk to anyone anymore, though he knew he needed to stay, so he chose to bury himself in Cub's chest. And the taller Vex accepted it without protest.

"I know this has come as a shock to you all, but can you all please continue to listen? There's more I have to say." Asked X loudly, hoping to get all the Hermits attention. In the end only Doc and Iskall turned to listen to him.

The admin notices this and turns the weather to stormy before motioning for Doc to throw his trident in the middle of the group, which happens to be in the middle of the strange symbol. Doc grinned up at X before throwing the trident. That got everyone's attention. Well, maybe not the redirected lightning per say, but the Nether portal suddenly popped up sure did.

Everyone blinked dumbly at the portal as rain pelted down on them. Xisuma quickly stopped the rain before speaking up, "Uh, that wasn't exactly planned, but I suppose it did a good enough job." Everyone was now paying attention thankfully, so no more weird stuff needed to happen hopefully, "There was a piece of paper lying on the ground in his base, and what it reads is a bit weird."

"To find the lost emperor (Ren mutters a quite "what" but False shushes  him before the wolf can say anything else.)

Find the place where the empire once stood with might

You shall find him there

But walk with caution, the empire fell for a reason."

"And that's all it says." Finishes Xisuma, handing Doc the paper so he too could read it.

The Hermits split into groups after that. All trying to figure out what the riddle was talking about.

Though Mumbo and Iskall didn't really know what to do. Grian was like their brother, and now he was gone. Gone with only a stupid and dumb riddle left of him. And what was the riddle even about? He had never talked about anything relating to an emperor, much less an empire.

Cub and Scar tried using their Vex magic to either teleport themselves to Grian, or to teleport him to them. Neither worked, much to their disappointment.

Team ZIT looked into the symbol on the ground and Tango joked it was made by someone who was building their first portal. Zedaph corrected him and explained that it was a symbol representing the Watchers, and that the symbol itself meant "Ever Watching". When asked why he knew so much he simply explained that he grew up in a world where there was a big Watcher precens, though he didn't know more than that about the symbol.

Xisuma searched through the code, trying to see if he'd gone anywhere. He enlisted Ren and Doc to look through the server map and scan for Grian, trying to see if he could get a ping from the builder. In the end it turned up that Grian had left the server, forcefully since there wasn't a message in chat saying he'd left the server. Whilst this was bad, it was also good since he could still see Grian's stats. Thankfully the dirty blond hadn't died yet, so that put that at ease a bit.

The girls had taken the riddle from Doc and were trying to get any useful information out of it, though they didn't have a lot of luck with that. "-I mean, it dropped so much information at once! Firstly, Grian apparently had an empire that he was the emperor of. And secondly, there apparently people who don't like him for some dumb reason and destroyed said empire." "Yeah, and from the sounds of things the place where we will find him those people will be there too." "How lovely."

Jevin, Joe, Wels and Python were inspecting the portal with great caution. Joe had his book out to document any findings they did. They figured out the portal must lead to someplace from an old update, since when Jevin threw a block of blue ice in it was immediately spit back out.

Everyone was so distracted that they nearly didn't see nor hear three people approaching, though since TFC wasn't really working with any of the groups he saw them and alerted everyone else.

All eyes turned to the three people who were flying in, all three wearing dark clothing of different styles. Iskall pointed his bow up at them in warning as Doc raised his trident to do the same.

Seeing the open hostility they had garnered, the three newcomers landed a bit away from the Hermits. There were two women and one man, the man looking considerably younger than the other two.

The first woman was wearing a pair of dark purple robes (which I will hopefully remember to include at the end) and dark cyan short boots. She had short neat hair, though there was a natural rugged look to it. Her eyes were a deep violet, and they almost seemed to glow in the darkening light.

The second woman wore the same clothes as the first, though she was taller than the raven haired woman. Her own hair was long and fluffy and it was a light dirty blond color, and she had warm brown eyes.

The last one was someone Mumbo recognized quite well. But it had taken him a moment to register it since he was unfamiliar with purple clothing the man was wearing (I'll hopefully remember to add this too).

"Taurtis?"

<The story has been altered! It was supposed to be more of a fluffy comedy thing when I first made this, but I've decided to make it darker this time around. So let's see how this goes.

Oh, and here's the pictures! I'm adding them in order.

That's all I really have to say. So have a wonderful time everyone and stay safe!>

Last minute thing: For those who don't know what the Warriors AU is, it's this:

It's just HC but if it was Warrior cats.
Ok I've kept you long enough, you may continue on now!
