Cinder's purpose will be balance. Since Solstice was friendly and positive, Cinder had to be the opposite even though she didn't want to, and Solstice never new.

Cinder herself isn't negative, but over the years her personality has been corrupted and crushed over the weight of her job, which is the represent the majority of negative emotions. Like The Giver by Louis Lowry, everything is put on Cinder so others don't have to suffer.

Cinder needs to collect the souls to make herself immortal via a ritual so she can carry out her job without being banned or killed, because otherwise she would never be able to return balance to the multiverse.

She is also in charge of destroying old and unwanted universes so that Portalverse has more room to grow.

She knows more than she lets on or says, and pushes people away because she's not supposed to have positivity. She is a little crazy from the weight of her job.

This character is inspired by Nightmare and Error from undertale, the god of negativity and the god of destruction, but I'm combining them and forcing them on a little girl.

Cinder is strong, she'll be fine.

So what does this mean? Cinder is going to be destroying the AUs I feel uninspired to write and putting them in little bottles for safekeeping.

So remember that list I wrote a while ago? Some AUs have been destroyed while some others popped up just because some AUs I really don't feel like writing/finishing.
