(I wrote this in advance btw)

I watched the finale of Tokyo Soul And was incredibly disappointed. So I added a HC and Evo twist. Spoiler warning I guess...?

"Well. I guess we're stuck in this void forever." Sam sighed. Grian was talking to Taurtis without him for the past few hours, and wasn't letting Sam listen in.

"It's not my fault. You guys are the ones who kidnapped me and brought me here." Taurtis said, walking to the edge of the island to sit next to Sam.

"And it was your idea." Grian added. "I really can't stand to stay here much longer."

"Well, there's really nothing we can do."

Grian sighed. "Actually, there is."

Sam turned around quickly. "What?!"

"A while ago, I was invited to join the Evo server and bring one other friend. And I'm going to accept it."

"Really? Then what were you waiting for?"

"... Sam, I'm not bringing you. I'm taking Taurtis."

"You're just going to leave me here?!"

"No. See, once we leave, the world will reset. You can make new friends. You can forget us. We can all be happy."

"Grian..."

"I hope you understand -"

"Then what was all that for?"

"Huh?"

"All the good times! Why would you kill all those people with me if you were just going to leave me?"

"Because Taurtis was supposed to come with me. I wouldn't hurt anyone if I wasn't sure the world would reset."

"Grian, please, listen,"

"..."

Grian pulled a strange charm out of his pocket and it started to glow. Taurtis pulled out a similar one, and then they started to fade. "N0! W@IT!" Sam screamed, his voice distorted. Jumping at his friends, he landed on the hard floor. They were gone. Then his vision started to fade, and his consciousness slipped away.

"The portal leads to the place you desire most." Doc explained.

Grian nodded. "So what happens if you throw something through?"

"It would activate the portal to that location, depending on who -"

Doc didn't even get a chance to react as Grian threw the flower at the diamond portal.

Pearl walked over to Taurtis, who was sitting on the edge of a cliff over the ocean, watching the sun set. "What's on your mind?"

"Grian."

"You still miss him? It's been over a year."

"He was my close friend since high school."

"Oh. Why don't you tell me about him."

"Well... my situation is a bit strange."

"?"

"I... he's not really my Grian."

"What?"

"*HaHaHaHaHaHa spoilers*"

"Oh. But you still miss him?"

"Yeah. I really want to see him."

"..."

"Taurtis?"

Taurtis turned around quickly. There was a diamond portal sitting on the cliff. Without thinking, he bolted toward the sound of Grian's voice. Stopping at the portal, he cautiously examined the strange portal. Then someone pushed him. There portal disappeared with him as he fell through it.

Behind him, Pearl smiled, wiping away a tear. "Go see your close friend again." Then she walked away from where the portal once was. "Goodbye, Taurtis."

They held his arm tightly. He struggled. He knew it wasn't safe. But he heard him. Grian heard Taurtis's voice. He had to see Taurtis again. But he didn't need to anymore.

"OW!" Taurtis yelped as he fell out of the portal. There was a flash of light, and the portal returned to normal. No evo sign,

no nothing. Except for the black haired boy with red and blue headphones who was face-planted into Grian's chest. It was almost like Pearl knew that would happen.

When Taurtis lifted his head up, he examined his surrounding. Then he noticed he was laying on top of Grian, who's face was VERY red. Taurtis quickly got off, feeling his face heat up. "Grian?"
