I was watching a video about owls and thought if this idea and I'm not mad at it and I might just make it my new Main AU. I love the idea of Grian being a parrot always!

    Anyway, I'm this AU, Grian is a Elf Owl hybrid. If you don't know what they look like, I feel bad for you because they are absolutely adorable. Moving on... With him being an elf owl, he's smaller than most of the hermits, being 4'10.

Naturally, he's supposed to be nocturnal but he doesn't like feeling left out from activities with other hermits so he tries his best to stay awake throughout the day, usually it's fine but his animal nature will sometimes kick in and the other hermits will sometimes find him sleeping though the day in his hobbit hole.

He hates water, not because he doesn't like the feeling of being soaked but because it can hurt him. Waterlogged feather can cause severe body heat loss, causing hypothermia. When it rains, he stays inside and either sleeps or reads.

Grian wings are are a a gray-ish brown color with hints of black. Being only half elf owl, His left eye is a bright yellow while his other is a dark brown. His bones are hollow. His wingspan is about five feet, they do get annoying when he's not flying but he's learned to ignore it over the years.

When he's scared, he will play dead. No joke, scared the living hell out of Scar when he sneaked up behind him one time. The results of that incident has made Grian be more aware of his surroundings.

His wings don't make sound. He has used this to his advantage and has jump-scared Mumbo and scar multiple times. He can see in the dark, and has been the one to find and save other people items after they die because he knows that not all the hermits can see as well as he can at night.

Hates violence. If needed, he will fight back but in most situations, he'll run- or fly away a and wait out the problem. His signature weapon is a Bow, because it's long-ranged and he can stay as far away from the enemy as he can.
