Scar approached from out of the slime shop, holding a very scared look on his face while noticing Cub jump off Scar’s tree shop and land right at the Vex’s feet.

“Found anyone?”

Scar immediately shook his head. “Nope, any luck for you?”

His friend sighed before speaking. “Not at all…”

The frustration pushed them both mentally backwards as they both sighed in unison, obviously annoyed.

Silence like this was soon becoming too uncomfortable, causing Scar to think.

“Scar, don’t worry too much-”

“-But it’s my fault!” Interrupted the frustrated cowboy. “If I didn’t darn curse that chest, we wouldn’t be here.”

To this, Cub froze. “I was the one on insisting we add a light to the chest. Blame me.”

“Cub, I still don’t know why you wanted that light…” The cowboy smirked.

In response, Cub smirked back and rested all of his weight to one leg, while crossing his arms.

“Simple.” His head tilted to the word with humor. “I wanted to know who out of all the Hermits, would even think about opening it.”

The mad men watched each other’s grin fall into evil laughs, then evil snickers, which then turned to evil cackles, and back to giggles.

It was the ugliest thing the Author has ever written so far. (F)

Just before they could turn it into a chuckle, a thought came to Scar’s mind. “Maybe they’re at the Stock Exchange!”

Cub instantly smiled as Scar tossed rockets into the air, waiting for Cub to follow, while he made his way to the Stock Exchange.

The two Hermits slowly stumbled across the path after landing and found themselves inside.

“Xiskall?” Scar cupped his hands over his mouth while calling The Fusion’s name.

Soon realising that nobody would respond, Cub  decided to call for Doc and Ren instead, mentally pleading for the two to be there.

“Doc?” He called.

Scar notched his head to his Vex, and shrugged displeased.

“Ren?” Cub called again, with uncomfortable silence as the answer again.

The Vexes were certainly... vexed. (XD send hate)

The two carefully strutted deeper into the intolerable building, breaking a few walls thanks to agitation and anxiety... Thankfully, none of that was really mentioned…

Cub suddenly found himself in the big office of enormousness, while Scar searched the main room for answers.

Paper ruffled everywhere as Scar franticly opened chests for no reason but anxiety overload.

Until Cub’s voice was distantly heard that is. “Scar! I need you to see this!”

“What is it?”

Scar threw rockets, tossing himself upstairs and into the office.

He opened the doors to find Cub pale, staring at a piece of paper looking fresh on the desk.

The hatted Vex cautiously made his way to his friend's shoulder, curious to see what Cub saw.

The paper only had a few words:

"Xiskall is with EX... They will die tonight."

ANNND ANOTHER UNINTENDED CLIFFHANGER!

YAY!!!
