Earlier, Xel had been spending his time struggling to get free of the handcuffs holding him to the wall. He gritted his teeth as he tugged once more but to no avail.

He heard someone coming towards the room and got a idea. It was a long shot but worth a try, right?

His eyes glossed over as he accessed his inventory, quickly stowing his helmet, Grian's sweater and his pants and boots into his inventory while leaving his normal outfit on underneath.

He took a deep breath and sat still as the door swung open.

EX stepped into the room to check on his guest to see if the potion worked but was very surprised to find no one in the room. "What?!" He exclaimed and ran forward, stopping just inches away from Xel who held his breath.

"How?! How could he have possibly- UGH!" He turned back and forth as he ranted before throwing the keys in anger at the wall, Xel moving his head slightly so they hit the wall.

EX turned and stalked towards the exit. "I swear when I find that kitten, I'm going to kill him..." He muttered under his breath. "That'll show them... This isn't a game anymore..."

Xel glared at the back of EX's head as the door sealed, leaving him alone once more. He carefully moved about until he got the keys into his hand, turning it to unlock the cuff.

Once he heard a click and it released his hand before unlocking the other. He stood up, pocketing the keys into his inventory. 

He started to put his poultry man outfit back on before hesitating. He decided against it before opening a chest, finding his elytra, rockets, and sword inside. 

He stowed them away but kept the sword close by as he hurried out of the room and into the halls.
