"Come down to the Black Sea,

Swimming with me, ah-ooh, ooh~"

Doc froze and tensed, recognizing Bdubs' voice ringing through the dark water, but something felt different. His voice was almost numbing, but... siren songs weren't supposed to affect merpeople, right?

"Go down with me, fall with me,

Let's make worth it, ah-ooh, ooh~"

Every rational thought in the part-creeper's mind vanished. Without thinking, Doc slowly swam closer to the source, eyes wide and feeling even more weightless than he normally did underwater.

"Come down to the Black Sea,

Swimming with me, ah-ooh, ooh~"

Something kept drawing the cyborg closer as the high note rang in his ears. It almost felt like he was being gently pulled towards Bdubs' voice, and he didn't feel like fighting it.

"You rise, I fall,

I stand, you crawl,

You twist, I turn:

Who's the first to burn?"

It felt like his breath was being gently taken from him by pure amazement, and he kept following the invisible current leading him up to the source of the voice. The change in pressure didn't quite register, all he could hear was the beating of his own heart and the voice, drowning out all other sensations...

Doc broke the surface of the water, the cold night air stinging his face, and Bdubs turned in a panic.

"Whoa-! Uh, hey, Doc-?"

The siren's voice echoed in Doc's mind, as if he was deep in a lightless cave. The mind fog caused by Bdubs' siren song started to clear a little, but the cyborg was still rendered speechless: gaping at the siren and struggling to think coherently.

'Guess it works.' Bdubs thought, noticing how dazed Doc seemed. He fidgeted with the necklace he'd bargained from Evil X, cautiously drifting a bit closer to the part-creeper. "You alright there, Doc?"

"I..." Doc stared down at him, failing to speak once again.

Yep, the magic necklace thing definitely worked. Maybe better than expected-

Well, here's a little hint of the future for Mythical Seas! I've been gaining interest in that again, so hope you enjoy what I have planned!
