TW: Uhh.. hypnosis? Not sure if that's a trigger- Also giant snake man. 

Doc looked down at the forest below, instinctively adjusting his wings to the current airflow around him. 'Half-snake people? Please. Although... guess I'm one to talk.'

He chuckled to himself as he dipped down, trying to find a way through the thick canopy of leaves.

Laying on a thick branch and lazily humming, Bdubs was having a pretty quiet day. Until the German bird man scared the life out of him.

"The hell-?!" Bdubs hissed, silently lowering himself down to see the winged stranger. "Who does this guy think he is...?"

After a bit of a rough landing, the avian brushed himself off, checked that nothing had gotten in the plates of his metal arm, and looked around. 'Okay... this place looks a bit creepy.'

"Hello? Any snake people around?" Doc jokingly called out, not noticing the two dangers he just drew attention to.

"Great, the trespasser is a douche," Bdubs muttered, considering his options.

But a low growl a few trees away caught his attention.

'Oh no.'

Looking away from the stranger, Bdubs groaned at the sight of a large wildcat. "Not that guy again."

Hearing a loud yowl, Doc's wings automatically flared up. "OH SH-"

Next thing he knew, a large, black leopard-like creature was on top of his chest, absolutely ready to cut him up like confetti.

Something made Bdubs shout, "HEY FURBALL, BACK OFF!!" before he could even think it through.

Hearing the warning, the creature's eyes darted up to where the part-snake was and hesitated. It knew not to mess with their kind but... prey was prey.

Lunging at Doc, the predator extended its claws and got ready to bite down on the avian German– but it was quickly grabbed by the middle by what seemed to maybe be a vine and got thrown into a tree.

Frozen in shock and terror, Doc wildly looked around for the source of the voice. 'Oh gods-'

A moment of tense silence passed as Bdubs waited to see if the creature would get up. When it didn't, he lowered himself to the ground to... properly greet his guest.

Said guest immediately freaked out.

"Hey, don't freak out." Bdubs put his hands up in surrender as he got closer. But Doc quickly scooted backwards anyway.

"OH MY GOD-"

Sighing, the snake hybrid closed his eyes for a moment. 'Guess we're doing this my way then.'

The part-snake opened his eyes, which were now glowing a light, entrancing green that smoothly shifted shades as he got closer.

Doc froze, his eyes going wide. "Wh- What...?"

All of the avian's body started to tremble and relax, and Doc's eyes started to glow faintly as well, his head slowly being filled with a pleasantly numbing fog.

"There we go."

'Wait, what am I-?' Doc instinctively looked away, and the effects started to stop and recede, his mind going back to fight or flight mode.

Bdubs huffed. 'Oh come on.'

"What-?! What was-!?" The avian blurted out, trying to crawl away from Bdubs again, now keeping his eyes on the ground. "What kind of weird-?!"

A tail swooped under Doc's chin, forcing him to look back up at the snake hybrid, and the glowing eyes took hold again.

'They're... actually kinda pretty...'

Doc's expression morphed from panic to sleepy confusion as he started to relax once more, the tension in his muscles releasing on command.

'No- Look away-'

It was surprisingly hard to look away this time, and not just from the snake tail gripping his jaw.

"I'm not gonna hurt you, stupid." Bdubs sighed, losing his patience as he shifted back into Doc's line of sight.

Doc could've just closed his eyes, but something stopped him.

His eyes widened again as the two made eye contact and the world started to dissolve in a green haze once more. "N- What... what are you doing to..."

As his body started to give in, words failed him. His wings slowly folded into his back as Doc let himself fall to the ground, Bdubs' gaze following him to keep the hypnosis going.

"Relax, I'm not going to hurt you." The light hissing was less threatening now, almost... comforting.

Slowly blinking, Doc felt like he should be fighting this... but why? It felt really nice...

Something scooped the avian off the forest floor, and he didn't protest.

Bdubs chuckled. 'Okay, now he kinda looks like a baby bird.'

Carefully wrapping the winged cyborg in his coils, Bdubs waited until he was sure the guy was completely under before dropping the hypnosis.

"Alright, you can sleep." The snake hybrid moved so he could properly look down at his catch, watching Doc's eyes drift closed. "There we go."

As he looked up, Bdubs froze when he heard a quiet bird-like coo. He looked down at the dozing avian, baffled. "... okay, that was adorable." 

So the lesson here is don't go into big forests alone /hj
