The two daycares stood just outside the pool as a lifeguard told the kids a few rules.
Xisuma helped Grian put on his life jacket, as the other kids put theirs on and Oli got help putting on water wings.
" Why's Oli got water wings?" Doc asked, as he assisted Jimmy with putting on his life jacket.
"He learnt how to remove a life jacket and does it well in the water." Fwhip stated bluntly.
While the kids played, Oli sat in a boat floaty. Xisuma put Grian in it while him and Fwhip laughed quietly at their sons.
"Grian, socialize." Xisuma told him. In response Grian stuck his tongue out.
The two kids made goofy noises and had fun. Grian laughed at Oli's dumb jokes, but before they knew what was happening the boat had drifted to the deep end! When Oli looked, he found he couldn't see the bottom of the pool
"Daad" Oli called out. "Lizzie- Joel, heelp" he called out in a pitiful voice. Grian, not caring, looked at Xisuma happily.
"BOAT!" Is all the adults and children heard from Grian. One word. But before anyone could react Oli cried out again with a saddened
"heeelp".
Fwhip jumped into the water and swam over to Oli.
"Good there kid?" He asked, as he held onto the side of the floaty and took it to the shallow side.
" Safeee" Oli stated proudly before jumping into the water. He splashed around happily. Fwhip smiled as Lizzie and Joel got in. Doc, Xisuma, and Cub slowly got in. The second Xisuma was in, Grian launched himself off the floaty into Xisuma's arms.
Xisuma caught him and laughed Grian replied with a squeak, his wings flapping quickly. Oli stared at Fwhip who picked him up. Oli clung
to Fwhip like his life depended on it. Oli stared at Fwhip eyes
"The water makes cuts feel weird." he stated, more annoyed than hurt "They'll do that, and once we're at the daycare again i'm gonna rebandage you." Fwhip replied as he threw Oli in the air and caught him.

When they all returned to the daycares later that day, Fwhip more or less had a battle with Oli just to rewrap his injuries .
"Oli!" Fwhip called out as he chased the toddler who was now climbing his way on top of a book shelf., Oli losing his grip and falling from the book case! Lucky for him, Lizzie was by the door, chatting with a handful of adults just a few steps from where Oli was. Sausage saw Oli and pointed out to Eddie who, when Oli fell, ran over and managed to catch him. Oli hissed as he felt someone's arms touch his injured leg and cuts on his back
"i can't stay still or stay up i just keep falling", Oli stated proudly.
Fwhip took Oli and rewrapped his injuries "You gremlin child." Fwhip hugged Oli who was snuggling into Fwhip's arms.
The next day, Oli woke up in his bed. As usual he grabbed his egg toy, and went to see if Fwhip was awake. Running to Fwhip's room, he saw the door open. He ran inside. Seeing his dad wasn't there, he assumed he was downstairs, so Oli ran to the stairs and slid down them. As he got to the bottom he saw Fwhip also wasn't there. He was scared. He was alone.
"DAD!" Oli cried out for Fwhip for an hour. He played with his toys and cried. When he felt like an eternity passed, he got up and went to the kitchen. Seeing Fwhip's phone, he took it and was frustrated but did recall his password. When he got it, he went to the texts with Lizzie and said one word. 'help' Lizzie started asking a lot of questions and it made Oli more scared. She eventually called. Oli answered quickly as he went back to his egg toy with the phone
"Fwhip?!" Lizzie called through the phone.
"Dads gone, just me." Oli started to cry, since he was scared
"Oli, me and Joel will be there soon just stay there and don't touch anything." She stayed on the phone with Oli till she arrived at his house. The second she saw him in the living room with the egg toy crying she felt bad for him. "Oli!" she ran over and picked him up
"where's dad?" Lizzie felt her heart sank she didn't know what to tell Oli since she didn't know where Fwhip was either
"You're gonna stay with us Oli. Let's grab anything you'll need." Joel stated as he walked in. Lizzie put down Oli who ran to his room, Joel following closely as Lizzie called the police about Fwhip disappearing. Oli grabbed his hat and a bunch of plushies. "I got your clothes and you got your toys anything else?" Oli shook his head in response and Joel zipped up the bag before taking Oli downstairs, picking up the toy egg and leaving with Lizzie back to their place. The daycare was closed for the day,so all that was needed was for Oli to be watched by them.
