When it was finally home time Fwip did appear to pick up Oli "im sorry Oli-" Fwhip picked up Oli who was eagerly hugging him "dad! You're back" he spoke and Fwhip left the daycare with a pained look. He knew it was bad what he was doing but he didn't really have a choice really.
Oli kept pointing out every animal and cloud on the car ride it was only 4 hours but for Fwhip felt like a eternity "DAD! Look buildings" Oli yelled out at he pointed at a cluster of shops
"Nearly there" Fwhip spoke.
Once he parked Fwhip got out the car and exhaled before helping Oli "Ok Oli we are seeing my parents- and i wanna tell you i'm half goblin so please if you see a orc or a goblin don't be scared i'll protect you" he spoke and Oli stared confused.
Fwhips mom smiled at Oli "i see that things still here"
She spoke with a glare in Olis direction "be nice dear" Fwhips father spoke then stared at Fwhip "son you left, why? You're the oldest you were gonna be the king of this place" he spoke Fwhip felt as if there was a bunch of rocks in his lungs he hated this place why did he return, and with Oli.
After they ate dinner Oli messed with some crayons on a bit of scrap paper "Fwhip can you come with he real quick?" his father asked making Fwhip nod in response "Oli i'll be back soon bud" Fwhip walked off swiftly with his father they went down a hall leaving Oli with Fwhips mom, Oli was minding his own drawing his friends from the daycare "you are the reason my son left- you made him not wanna be a king. Showing up here ruined it all if i remove you he'll be king again" she spoke to herself before walking over to Oli and picking him up carrying him to the 2nd floor she stood on a balcony with him in her arms he stared at the sky with a look of wonder "wow" he spoke quietly, his words spread guilt thru her but she was determined to have her son back she held him in the air on the other side the railing before dropping him.
Oli felt a odd familiarity with the feeling of falling from the sky like a sense of deja vu but before his mind could process it all it all went dark, next thing he knew he was laying in bed but not his it was in sausages house "papa-" Oli spoke and slipped off the bed as he stood he felt a electric pain thru his back and leg looking down he noticed white bandage but he didnt care he was tough so he walked to the door but at it he fell and the pain just got worse in his leg it felt like it was burning from inside out standing up he cried slightly letting out a small whimper as he walked "dad?" he called out again when he was cry the stairs Fwhip walked up them and saw Oli who he picked up and held close "im so sorry..." Fwhip mumbled and ruffled Olis hair before taking him downstairs and sitting by Eddie again holding Oli on his lap
"Why does it hurt?" Oli asked he didnt understand what was happening or what happened that caused him so much pain "you got hurt. Badly kid" Eddie stated "Fwhip can you check his bandages? If they're too bloody I can grab some new ones" Eddie spoke and stared at his cup of water.
Fwhip lifted Olis shirt checking the bandages covering his back they had patches of blood seeping through that Eddie spotted so he grabbed a handful of rolls of bandage.
When he returned Fwhip had removed Olis shirt and bandages on his torso making the toddler hiss at the say his injuries were stinging, Fwhip stared at the massive gashes on Olis back one that covered from Olis left shoulder to his right hip and smaller cuts cluttered his back Eddie handed Fwhip the bandage who wrapped Olis torso again the toddler hated it but the bandage made the stinging go down a bit once Fwhip was done applying the bandage Oli felt him get moved so he's facing Fwhip "Bud, can i check your leg?" Fwhip asked calmly Oli nodded and as Fwhip removed the bandage Oli stared at his leg as the bandage came off it showed a massive cut that trailed from Olis mid thigh and all the way down to his heel covering it slightly
"How'd that happen" Eddie asked and Fwhip exhaled before looking at Eddie "from what i saw when my mother dropped him his leg got caught on the vines we have hanging from the balconies" he stated before he re-wrapped Olis leg
"Dad- why did she do that?" Oli asked quietly.
Fwhip felt himself cry softly "I don't know Oli.. i don't know" he spoke quietly, holding back so he doesnt cry in front of Oli and has only done that once, and it was after a fire when he thought Oli was gonna die.
"You'll never see her again, I promise" Fwhip told Oli before turning his head to the roof, inhaling and exhaling so he didn't cry.
