Chapter 31

hermione's POV

I make my way back o the great hall when I see a flash of red hair. "Ginny!" I say grabbing her arm bu she just ignores me and pulls her arm out of my grip. "Ginny! Just listen to me!" I shout. At this she truns around. "What do you want?" She asks rudly, but i don't blame her. "Pleas just listen to me!" I say. "No I won't why would I need to hear what you have to say?" She says "because it is the truth and you need to hear it!" I shout. By now every one in the hallway was either watching or whispering to each other. she looks at me for a second. "Just please listen to me." I whisper. "Fine" she says reluctantly. I grab her arm and run to an empty classroom. I lock the door and put a muffling charm over it. "Okay," i say turning towards her. "You probably wont like this a whole lot better than what you herd but here it goes."

I take a deep breath. "Harry is not the father." She almost looks as if she wants to sigh with relief but she dosn't. Instead she just raises her eyebrows. "Malfoy is." Just like everyone else she goes from shocked to angry. "What?!" She turns and starts to leave "Look Ginny, I'm sorry" she turns back around. "Sorry! Sorry for what? Your using him just so you don't make yourself look like a fool!" I shake my head wildly. "Thats not what it is at all!" 

"Oh really? Do you really love him? Or are do you just want someone to love you?" I hesitate. "I...thats not the point." She shakes her head. "Yes it is. The point is that you need to learn when to stop!" She shouts. Is that true? Does it seem like I don't love him? Of course I do. When Malfoy and I would kiss it would be something but not much. With Harry it is like magic. It is not a lovy dovy or akward relationship. We've known each other for hears but it took me longer to realise I actually did like him. Thats what really happened. "Look ginny i'm sorry. I'm sorry for being and idiot, I'm sorry for hurting you and I'm sorry for every thing." I say. "Please" I whisper. She looks at me for a minute and then hugs me. "I forgive you for being an idiot." She says. I smile.
