"Em! Wake up! It's Christmas!" shouted Mione Christmas morning. She also just happened to shout it in my ear. The excitement didn't disappear, nonetheless.

I woke up instantly, squealing. As I said before, I treat holidays like I'm a 5 year old, even though I'm actually 11. As most kids would just run downstairs in their pajamas, me and Mione were different. We had to look good before others could see us.

I got up and went to the Jack and Jill bathroom that Mione and I shared. I wasn't in the mood to take a shower, so I just changed into a short sleeved shirt that said "MUGGLES BEWARE" I had gotten it at Madam Malkins. She said that I had an eye for fashion when I first went there, so she lead me to the back and showed me some clothes I might want to buy. The shirt was in there

I also put on some cream leggings and Mione put on a shirt that was baby blue with black leggings. I smiled. "What is it Em?" asked Hermione. "Since it is like 6:00, and Mum and Dad aren't up, I think we can wear some makeup." I respond, a smirk appearing on my face.

She smirked back. "I like this version of you" I told her, commenting on the more devilish side. "Me too," she responded, "It's new" (that dialogue was a reference to the land of stories btw, you should read it its good) I nodded, and put on my fuzzy socks, so I wouldn't make as much of a noise when we went downstairs. Mione did the same.

We tiptoed downstairs, when Hermione knocked over a plant in the kitchen. "What are you doing?" I mouthed. "Sorry" she mouthed back. Luckily, Mum and Dad were heavy sleepers. If you screamed through a megaphone in their ears, they wouldn't notice. We easily got into Mum's bathroom and we instantly searched her drawers.

"Do you want me to do you?" I suddenly asked Hermione. "What do you mean?" (Ha🎤What do you mean?🎤)"Well," I said, sheepishly, "Lav has been teaching me how to apply makeup, and I wanted to do you." She chuckled. "Fine" she said in a fake mad voice. I looked inside of the drawers and found  what I Was looking for, moisturizer. I applied it on her face and it instantly felt smooth

I put on some tan eyeshadow to blend in with her eyes and hair. Then, I put on eyeliner and mascara, and all that good stuff. Rummaging through the stuff, I found a rosy pink tinted chapstick. It said 

To you, From you know who

I love you, this chapstick will smell like whatever attracts you. I hope you will smell me.

I smelled it. I smelled Hogwarts. I also smelled the boys dormitory in Gryffindor. Phew. I would fall in love with a Gryffindor at least. I also started smelling pranks that the twins use. Probably because I love pranks.

I put the chapstick on Hermione's lips and I said "Vóila!" She looked at herself in the mirror and said, "Wow" "Now for your hair," I announced, getting the hairbrush.  She sighed. "Alright" she muttered. I brushed the hair, but it was too frizzy, so I just put a headband in.

"Your turn!" she announced. I tried to fight back, but it just didn't work. She got me down on the chair and started putting makeup on me. A cream eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, and some tinted chapstick was all she put, but I looked great.

The cream eyeshadow went perfectly with my leggings, and my jade-green and aquamarine kaleidoscope eyes. She went to my hair next, and she did a messy side braid to my long, dark brown wavy hair. She also pulled out some baby hairs.

"Ahem" said a voice behind us. I turned to see Mum and Dad in their pajamas, staring at us. "Um, we wanted to be pretty?" I said, uncertainly. Suddenly, I laughed. Everyone looked t me like I was deranged, but soon they were laughing too.

"Let them be Jean" said Dad. "Yeah Jean" Mione told Mum. Mum sighed. We went outside to our Christmas tree and saw many packages under it. The first, wrapped in blue, was a brand new  black hoodie that said

in white letters

"Thank you Mum!" I squealed. "You are very welcome." she told me. The next one was from Dad. It was a gold locket with blue gems. "Dumdledore told us your house" he explained, "Gold for Gryffindor, and blue for Ravenclaw." All I could do was hug him. Hermione had gotten me a bok, of course. It was Hogwarts: a History. "Thanks Mione!" I excaimed. She smiled. I got candy from Ron, and a sweater that was turquoise with a E in the middle from Mrs. Weasley. There was a note.

Ron has told me all about you dear. I would love to meet you.

I smiled. I had gotten Hermione some books, Dad a new watch, Mum some more makeup, and Ron got some candy. I had gotten the twins some test tubes and science stuff, because I wanted to see what pranks they could make with science and magic together. I got Harry a practice Snitch. IT only flew away 2 feet or so, but I thought he would like it. After we opened presents, I sent thank you notes with Athena, and my family and I sang Christmas Carols.

Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better Chistmas.
